Parting out - 1996 Suzuki 40 H.P. - $350 (Saugerties) 1996 Suzuki DT40 H.P. outboard motor 20" shaft. Electric and manual start, Tiller steering, power trim and tilt, new propeller (30 minutes run time) Motor ran perfect, charged, started trimmed all perfect until the thermostat failed. Motor started several hours later but has blown head gasket and some cyclinder scoring. Lower unit is 100% as are all other non power head parts. Propeller itself, two weeks ago was $100.00. Have another propeller thats dinged up. One brass prop that I have never used and another prop that needs to be rebuilt as the hub is spun. The props are worth alomost $350. 22' Glacier bay that I've owned for a few months to test Catamaran styles boats (wife gets sea sick very easily so i wasn't sure if she could handle Cats). Loved it so we purchased a 36' prokat. Email me if you want a copy of an old survey the previous owner did, this has been a good boat to me and I haven't had any problems. I think I've logged 100 hrs with it since the lights just started to blink to change the oil. Trailer pulled fine from Ft Myers to Marathon when I purchased. Could use a bit of cleaning up and some TLC. Per the survey at 3400 RPM this boat went 19.8 knots....at 5000 RPM it went 28.4 knots. So at 3400 you are burning something like 4-5 miles per gallon. I've had the boat personally out about 25 miles without any issues. Live well works fine, cooler in front has been removed. Back Bimini (it's huge) is awesome for diving/bottom fishing but made life difficult when trying to troll. I installed a Dragonfly fishfinder that the idiot who installed it put the cable through the back scupper.

SOLID!!!These Motors are 2004 SUZUKI 200 Horse Power and are in great shape, oil changed every 100 hours religiously!! Motors meticulously maintained- oil , suzuki oil filter, compression washers, lower units,steering / trim greased & Sierra 7945 Fuel Filters changed every 100 hours. Element filters on both motors changed last year. Cannot afford to be broke down, if this boat needed something it was fixed, replaced or repaired properly!! Strong water pumps, pees great. Full log book from on these Suzuki Outboards. About 1400 hours as these Suzuki's, this boat is in service every day, hours change daily. We have had this boat since about 100 hours. Plug them in if you want......we are hiding nothing. Fuel Tank is about 190 gallons. Towbit is secured to the stringers, its solid. This auction includes a trailer and a full compliment of electronics - 2 marine radios, GPS, depth sounder, & Radar.
