It is older boat completely remodeled for walk around , with new marine carpet and home maid cover that permit you to fish during the rain and sleep comfortable by two person. 15 h.p. 4 cycle Mariner 1999 has approx. 40 hours. This engine I kept as a kicker motor on my 23 footer on Lake Michigan and only last two year it was on the boat that i am selling. This motor had tune up by mechanic that I have receipt. The boat kept in garage in Wheeling Il. You have to call Anna 847-465-9455 and arrange time to see boat. If you have any question about boat call Boris 941-822-2094. The price of $995.00 really is price of motor alone/ It is good bargen. Good luck

THIS IS A 1970 DUO SPOILER 15 FT FIBERGLASS TRI-HULL. IT'S OLD BUT IT'S NICE. IT RUNS LIKE A TOP. SHORT STORY ABOUT THIS BOAT. IT WAS PURCHASED BRAND NEW BY AN OLDER GENTLEMAN THAT USED IT AT LAKE ERIE. HE BECAME UNABLE TO USE THE BOAT AS THE YEARS WENT BY AND HE PARKED IT IN AN OLD GARAGE. HE WOULD GO OUT AND JUST SIT IN IT AS HE LOVED IT. AS THE YEARS WENT BY THE GARAGE ROOF DEVELOPED A LEAK AND IT WOULD LEAK ON THE BOAT. EVENTUALLY IT ROTTED THE COVER AND RAIN GOT INSIDE AND ROTTED THE TRANSOM AND THE REAR PART OF THE FLOOR. A FRIEND OF MINE PURCHASED THE BOAT FROM THE OLD MANS SON AND WE PURCHASED THE BOAT FROM HIM. IT WAS ORIGINAL COMPLETE WITH THE MOTOR AND ORIGINAL TRAILER. FROM THAT POINT FORWARD I DID A COMPLETE REBUILD OF THE INSIDE OF THE BOAT. I REMOVED THE TOP CAP FROM THE BOAT AND PUT IN A NEW TRANSOM AND FLOOR AND RE-FIBERGLASSED STRINGERS, FLOOR AND TRANSOM. INSTALLED NEW CARPET AND USED EVERYTHING THAT WAS ORIGINAL TO THE BOAT SO AS TO KEEP IT AS CLOSE TO THE ORIGINAL LOOK AS POSSIBLE. I MODIFIED THE SEATS AND REMOVED TWO OF THEM. (I DO HAVE THE OTHER 2 SEATS). I ADDED A LIVE WELL, ROD HOLDERS AND A BRAND NEW GAS TANK. INSIDE I HAVE ALSO ADDED BLUE LIZARD LIGHTS FOR NIGHT FISHING ALONG WITH A NEW GARMAN DOWN-VU FISH AND DEPTH FINDER WITH WATER TEMP FEATURE. THE BOAT IS EQUIPPED WITH THE ORIGINAL 50 HP MERCURY THUNDERBOLT ENGINE THAT I HAD A MARINE SHOP GO OVER IT BEFORE REINSTALLING IT ONTO THE TRANSOM. IT STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL PAPERWORK INSIDE A POCKET ON THE MOTOR COWLING. I THEN PURCHASED THE 6 HP EVINRUDE AND PUT THAT ON THE BOAT AND BOTH MOTORS ARE STEERABLE FROM THE CONSOLE. THE BOAT HAS A BRAND NEW BATTERY AS WELL. THE TRAILER IS ORIGINAL TO THE BOAT. I SANDED IT AND PAINTED IT AND ADDED ALL NEW LIGHTS AND WIRING. THE TRAILER HAS TWO BRAND NEW TIRES ON IT AND THE BEARINGS HAVE ALSO BEEN REDONE. THERE IS A SPARE TIRE THAT IS ALSO NEW. ADDED A NEW DOLLY LEG AND WINCH. THE BOAT COMES WITH A BRAND NEW MOORING COVER AND BIMINI TOP WITH ALL NEW HARDWARE THAT I HAD MADE FOR THE BOAT BY AN AMISH MAN. THE BIMINI TOP WAS MADE SO THAT IT CAN BE ADDED ONTO IF YOU WOULD LIKE IT TO BE BIGGER. BOAT WAS ALWAYS GARAGED KEPT AND SINCE REFURBISHING, IT HAS NEVER BEEN KEPT OUTSIDE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REMOVE THE LIVE WELL IT WOULD BE EASY TO DO. INCLUDED IN SALE WILL BE BOAT BUMPERS AS WELL AS ANCHORS AND ROPES MANY HOURS SPENT REFURBISHING IT AND LOTS OF $$$$$ TOO. IT WAS WORTH IT. THE BOAT IS VERY COMFORTABLE TO FISH OUT OF AND THE BOATS RUNS REALLY WELL.DON'T LET THE YEAR FOOL YOU AS THIS IS A VERY VERY NICE BOAT. HAVE CLEAR TITLES IN HAND. PAYPAL DEPOSIT WILL BE ACCEPTED AS WELL AS CASH UPON PICK UP PAYMENT WILL BE DUE WITHIN 3 DAYS. The hull exterior, deck, bottom, and structure were visually examined and tested by percussive sounding. Moisture levels in the fiberglass and coring were measured with a GRP-33 electrophsics capacitance type moisture meter in strategic locations. Meter reads on 0-30 scale, 12% considered average, good and dry. Elevated numbers do not necessarily constitute a failure but can eventually lead to replacement or repair of structural members. Stringers were found to be considerably reasonably dry with low levels of moisture averaging 15%, which is good. No visual stress cracks detected and pricking with a pocket knife was unable to find any soft spots. Proper ventilation in the bilge can help maintain these low numbers over time. Transom was dry without issue Hull sides were inspected best possible and all appears good Bottom was not inspected because she lye afloat. Deck and hardware was inspected and found to be solid with no decay found. Carbureted gasoline equipped with dirty flame arrestors that require cleanning (U.S.C.G. requirement) Note: seacock backing boards require attention The bilge has evidence of the propeller shaft packing leaking; packing should be checked regularly and adjusted as needed to obtain the recommended drip rate of 1 drop per minute Halon requires periodic maintenance; please read label on unit for directions Great Lakes Disposal Plaque was not sighted (U.S.C.G requirement) Various standards and recommended practices for small crafts, including current portions of those used by the American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC), and The National Fire Protection Agency (NFTA 302), was utilized as criteria during the examination of this vessel. ALLIED PRINCESS 36 1979/80 About the Allied Princess: She is a robust character ketch that does not pretend to be anything other than a simple, comfortable cruising boat. In truth, it is a boat only a cruiser could love. Designed by Arthur Edmunds and first introduced in 1972, the Princess enjoyed a 10-year production run during which about 140 hulls were built, which likely makes it the most successful boat produced by Allied during its 22 years of existence (1962-84). Of all the boats Allied built–including the Luders 33, sailed by the famous boy-cruiser Robin Lee Graham; the Seawind 30, first fiberglass boat to circumnavigate; and the Princess is the one that still commands the most loyal following among modern cruising sailors. Though the Princess is undeniably a chunky craft, it is not unattractive. Its somewhat exaggerated sheer line leads up to a high bow, but blends nicely with its moderate overhangs and shoal-draft cutaway full keel. The boat’s performance under sail, though is smooth and steady. The Princess is a bit beamy for a vessel of its vintage, and this combined with the shallow keel and modestly sized ketch rig makes it slow to windward but when the seas kick-up and other light weight boats seek shelter the Princess comes into her own. A ketch-rigged Princess is very versitle and will sail best on a reach. The long keel tracks well, the ketch rig is easy to balance, and together with the non-reversing worm-gear steering found on most Princesses, makes it very easy to leave the helm unattended for long periods. The boat rarely buries its rail, and otherwise has a comfortable motion in a seaway. As with all boats built by Allied, construction is very strong and simple. The Princess hull is solid handlaid fiberglass–24-ounce woven roving and mat with a surface layer of cloth under the gelcoat–with thicker laminate at the turn of the bilge and down low around the keel. The ballast is lead, glassed over and encapsulated within the keel. The deck is balsa-cored. All bulkheads are tabbed directly to the hull. The rudder stock, impressively, is bronze. For coastal or offshore cruising the Princess is certainly one that deserves a look, she will take you anywhere you want to go in comfort and safety. It will serve admirably, too, as a coastal cruiser in any deep-water locale, as long as you aren’t too worried about getting places in a hurry. With its stout construction and easy motion it is also a good candidate for bluewater cruising. I am the third owner of the Princess, owner #1 was a doctor whom kept the boat in Va. On the hard 6mos out of the year, owner #2 bought the boat in 98 and cruised til 2000 when I purchase the boat and have had her since doing most of the up-grades.
