This boat is a 1975 Custom Flex Interlake sailboat. The boat is complete as far as I can tell and includes the mast, boom, rudder, tiller, main and foresail and a Pamco trailer. I am the third owner of this boat, I have not sailed it but the previous owner was sailing the boat in 2013. The hull needs some fiberglass work done where the centerboard pocket is on the hull, and the floor has delaminated. The sails, rudder, mast and boom are in good condition. The tiller is in working condition but should be replaced. The Pamco trailer is in excellent condition and only needs tires and paint. I would probably replace the wooden guides also. The boat has a title, the trailer is registered. Local pickup only. Delivery might be arranged depending upon distance. No returns unless item not as described.

This vessel is in very good condition for its age. The owner has added a nice water pressure gauge conveniently located at the engine. There are no signs of mold or mildew. Inside, it smelled and looked fresh and clean. Other than a slight bit of oxidation on the chrome, everything was in tip top shape and very impressive. The seller has taken pride in taking such good care of her. She and the owner just came back from a trip to the Keys. Per the seller, everything is in working order. Stock #391985 ***SALE PENDING*** Classic 1994 Hunter sailboat that has lots of upgrades added Like most Hunter sailboats, the Hunter 29.5 offers maximum accommodations, a large comfortable cockpit, and reasonable sailing performance at an affordable price. The Hunter 29.5 was designed by Hunter's in-house staff under Rob Mazza. It exemplifies a boat that appears to have been designed from the inside out rather than from the outside in. Like all production boats in this size range, the Hunter 29.5 is constructed from fiberglass composites utilizing a modular type of construction. The hull, deck, structural grid, and interior components are molded separately and then assembled into the finished product with structural adhesives or secondary bonds of fiberglass and resin. The deck is cored with balsa wood, and the hull is a solid composite. There is a nice solid clear windshield which makes steering and navigating an easy task and also an upgraded hard top that will last a very long time. Also located atop the helm is a set of solar panels with a Jupiter inverter. The 29.5 has a rather large cockpit for her size that opens at the stern to a molded swim platform. At anchor, this becomes an integral part of the cockpit adding even more usable space. This is one of the 29.5's more appealing features, and it makes getting in and out of the water or dinghy quite easy. Wheel steering is at the helm at the aft end of the cockpit, and there are two seats incorporated into the stern rail for passenger seating. Although the seller has upgraded the wooden steering wheel, the stock wheel is included with this purchase. Because the side decks are narrow with rigging shrouds at the deck edge, to go forward, the best path is over the cabin trunk. The foredeck has a small anchor locker which will accommodate a 13-pound Danforth with chain leader and 100 feet of half-inch rode. There are also two sturdy anchor rollers forward. This vessel houses three anchors. Below deck, the cabin is wide open with the only privacy offered by a fully enclosed head. There is a V-berth forward, and the main saloon features a large U-shaped dinette that comfortably seats four adults. The head and a small hanging locker are to starboard, and the galley is to port with a two-burner non-pressurized alcohol stove, a refrigerator, and a single sink. Aft and below the cockpit is an athwartship double berth. Auxiliary power is provided by a two-cylinder, 18 hp Yanmar diesel contained in an engine box beneath the companionway steps. This workhorse of an engine dominates the market in boats of this size and is very dependable. Quick access for maintenance is limited but, if necessary, the engine box can be removed easily for more serious work. The 29.5 is designed with simplicity in mind, and the large mainsail and small fractional jib certainly make tacking and sail handling a breeze for the short-handed or single-handed sailor. Included you'll find an autopilot as well as an Autohelm handheld steering device Without a traveler, the mainsheet attaches to the steering console directly in front of the helmsman. Sheet winches are also within easy reach of the helm. The B&R rig features long spreaders that are swept back 30 degrees eliminating a backstay. This necessitates tacking downwind to avoid impaling the mainsail on the spreaders, but I think that most would not find this much of an inconvenience. With the proper tacking angles, this can actually be a faster way to sail downwind. Being on board a powerful, reliable boat that also has high performance is an essential part of the pleasure of cruising. The Oceanis 40CC's hull is remarkable for its long waterline, big volumes and efficient wing-bulb keel. As far as her construction is concerned, there are no compromises: the structural inner mounding, glued and laminated to the hull, distributes any stresses from the rigging and keel. This technology combines reliability and strength and also provides perfectly finished locker interiors that are easy to maintain. One of the principal advantages of a central cockpit is the incomparable safety derived from the height of the cockpit, which is surrounded on all sides. There is a step of the coaming on the Oceanis 40CC to make it easier to get up the two teak-covered bench seats in the cockpit. There is a wheel mounted pedestal in the middle of the cockpit. Genoa and mainsail halyards and the lines for the two furlers are brought back onto powerful stoppers that free the halyard winch, whenever necessary. All handling lines are to hand. The Oceanis 40CC's deck is totally logical, simple and efficient, with steps in the transom (standard bathing ladder), liferaft fixing point on aft coachroof, solid aluminum bulwark the full length of the hull, as well as an aluminum rubbing strake. The numerous opening hatches and Dorade vents are positioned in such a way so as not to impede movement on deck. The chainplates for the upper and lower shrouds, which are positioned right against the coachroof, also leave the side decks completely free for easy access to the foredeck for the sunbathing area and the electric windlass. In the interior, the warm atmosphere (cherry finish) on board the Oceanis 40CC is essential to a good quality of life on board. To starboard, the saloon table and the raised settees ensure a pleasant "sea view" from inside the boat. Opposite to port, is the navigation station: chart table with stowage, bookshelves, 16-function electrical control panel, and all the room you need for on-board electronics. In the forward cabin, your guests have a large double berth, hanging locker, many other lockers and an en suite head compartment. In the passageway to port, which runs alongside the large engine compartment, the Oceanis 40CC's galley has everything you would normally find in the best-equipped kitchens: freezer, refrigerator, double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water, three-burner gimballed stove and many cupboards and drawers. As for the master cabin, all the incomparable advantages of the centre cockpit in terms of comfort and space have been fully exploited: large double berth with access from both sides, vanity-desk with mirror and lockers, large hanging lockers and your own head compartment with WC and separate shower. The Oceanis 40CC is truly the product of in-depth study into the expectations of ocean-going leisure sailors. A successful marriage of classicism and modern technology. What a great versatile day sailer / coastal cruiser sailboat! When I purchased this boat, I was looking for some specific things. (1) I wanted a boat that my wife would enjoy that did not heel much. Due to the shape of the hull and the hard chine, Potters tend to sail flatter (5 degrees less than other monohulls) meaning that wives will feel more comfortable and be more willing to go sailing. (2) I wanted a simpler boat and smaller sailboat, that translates into less expenses to maintain. (3) I wanted something that I could tow from lake to lake, increasing my sailing area and experiences. (4) I wanted a boat that was super easy to splash and recover off of its trailer, one that I could do by myself if need be. (5) I wanted a 'classic' that would maintain its re-sale value. I found that the Potter fit the bill completely. The boat has been sailed in primarily fresh water lakes, although a previous owner had sailed it sparingly in saltwater, but always kept it on its trailer after each sale rather than leaving it in a slip. The boat has a brand new roller furler, used about 3-4 times. The sails are nearly new, purchased by the previous owner and still very crisp to the touch. The head said has the blue sacrificial cloth to keep it protected from the sun, and the mainsail and winches have their own covers. The boat has tiller steering and a newer fiberglass rudder, with the original wooden rudder as a back up. The boat has the 'blue water layup' which means that it has a thicker hull for coastal cruising. However, the original mast raising system was removed from the boat as the po never used it, preferring to have a second person help raise the mast. I built my own system, using treated 2x4's as a gin pole which works very nicely. One person can easily raise and lower the mast, and can even do so on the water, granting access under lower bridges. The cockpit is a nice size that can easily accommodate 4 adults. The outboard is a 2013 Nissan, 6 hp, long shaft 4 stroke (burns normal gas with no oil to mix) and only has about 20 hours on it. Inside the cabin, you'll find an adequate size v-berth and 2 quarter berths that can sleep 4 adults. It has a new stove, newer battery, boat hook, life vests, anchor and rode, smoked plexiglass companionway cover in addition to the original wooden one, and a porta-potti. The trailer is a Gargas trailer and has been upgraded with all new wiring, LED tail lights, new safety chains and rollers and new wheel bearings. My intent was to tow it 1,000 miles from Indiana to Florida, and so I ensured that it was ready for any length trip. It also has a mag compass and a Hummingbird fish finder (depth gauge). While shopping specifically for a WWP 19, I drove more than 800 miles one way to look at a boat that was a 2005, priced at $11,500 ... and it was pathetic in relation to this boat! Though it is a 1996, it has been well cared for and can last its next owner a lifetime. The centerboard cranks up very easily and allows a draft as shallow as 18 inches, which means that it can be beached, or it can be extended to 3.5 feet which allows it to sail upwind satisfactorily. When I first purchased the boat, the po didn't have the bimini secured properly, and the wind sheer from the drive ripped the cloth. The frame is in perfect shape, but the canvass needs to be sewed or replaced. After spending a year searching for the right boat, which this boat was, I am now selling it because I have just recently had a major change in my sailing area. I had been sailing Lake Michigan and a local lake, but have acquire property in Florida with a mooring ball. I no longer need to trailer a boat to Fla. but can now just leave one on a mooring. I have replaced the Potter with an older Catalina 27 (1982). I have reduced the price to allow for a new canvass for the bimini. Happy hunting for your next sailboat, and hopefully, it will be my WWP 19.
