For Sale 1989 Bayliner Ciera Sunbridge 2755 (All Serious Offers Considered) This was the longest trailerable boat produced by Bayliner at the time, and is post Orin Edson (oiriginal founder and owner)- Brunswhick Corp. bought Bayliner late 1985-86. 27’ advertized length with a 8’-6’’ beam. This cruiser features a sunbridge bridge command center and console, v-berth dining that folds down into sleepable berthing, an aft sleeping berth, full galley w/ 2 burner Orien alcohol stove, hot/cold water sink, and an ac/dc fridge, full head with hot/cold water sink and shower and manual flush toilet with macerator. Two overhead fore-deck sky hatches, and shaded cabin side windows and port light hatches. Single Volvo Penta drive train: DP-A dual prop outdrive powered by an AQ271C 8 cyl. 275hp Volvo Penta gas engine. Nice bow/anchor pulpit w/ ss plate steel protective guide channeling. Dual props in good condition and nose cone in-tact and installed. Shore power and charger. All the pieces are here and all the electronics work and the appliances and amenities function. The outdrive was gone through by Bayside Marine (Everett, Wa) in about 2011 (receipts available). Manifolds were removed, cleaned and new gasket sets installed 2012. Engine is fresh-water-cooled with original Volvo system. Dual batteries w/ switch. Walk-through windshield provides access to the foredeck and bow pulpit. Engine runs well; starts up with a few pumps of the throttle control, stays on idle nicely, and performs throughout its rpm range soundly. Outdrive shifts and functions nicely. Trim tabs operate properly. Bimini canvas package rigging and poles are in place. This is a project boat needing a few issues addressed to get her into tip-top shape: 1. the outdrive exhaust bellows need to be replaced. 2. the outdrive trim system needs to be checked out and possibly repaired 3. the upholstery is in dire need of refurbish- we have all the pieces for patterning, but not much of it is salvageable. Due to the relatively straight and flat panels of this hull/deck design, the DIYer wouldn’t have to come up with anything very elaborate to finish her out- more than likely just simple wrapped cushioned panels. The hardest part is the patterning and we have all the existing pieces. 4. gel coat is in decent shape, though could use a compound buff and then wax 5. some minor fiberglass repair has been started on hull bottom at transom; this would need to be sanded/faired out to complete and new anti-fouling paint applied to the hull bottom. 6. broken side deck window needs repair or replaced. 7. canvas is not in very good shape 5200lbs, 78 gal fuel tank, 28 gal fresh water tank, 13 gal waste tank 1988 EZ Loader dual axle roller bunk fitted trailer is an included option with the purchase of this vessel. May renegotiate price if trailer is not wanted. Trailer is in very good shape; electrical works, new winch cable installed, new master brake cylinder installed, new brakes and fluid, wheel bearings greased and repacked, good tread on tires, and roller bunks are in excellent shape. Overall she’s not far from being sea worthy and a nicer boat. Interior is relatively clean. All the parts are there. And powerplant is a strong runner. And it sits on a very good trailer.
