This listing is for a 1988 Bayliner 16 Capri cuddy cabin with trailer. There is no outboard included and the boat is being sold as it is shown. It will require an outboard up to 85 hp max and with a 20"shaft. The trailer shown IS included in the sale . We have included 43 large pictures below the ad to show you as much detail as possible as well as a description of condition. Our description of condition is based on a brief and casual inspection and is only to help you decide its value. You are welcome to inspect the boat in person if you wish to do so. It is located in Old saybrook, Ct 06475. The pictures are current and the boat is being sold as is in the condition shown. There is no battery included so we did not test to see what powered up. The gelcoat looks all original and there are no obvious previous repairs. The trailer was just towed 150 miles with no problems. The lights do not work but the tires hold air well. You are welcome to come to our shop and inspect the boat anytime. We are located in Old Saybrook, Connecticut and open by appointment. At the end of the auction the winning bidder will need to send us a $200.00 non-refundable Pay-Pal deposit and contact us within 24 hours by phone or email to discuss payment/pick up with us. This boat has less than 350hrs on the Hull as for the engins they are 1999 Johnson 150hp that were traded in for more power. Not sure of hours on them but run excelent. No oil and gas to mix as was required for the Force engines. It has a 95 gal fuel tank that sould let you cruise for a long while befor requireing refill. She planes out and runs fast on one engine and flys on both. New Bilge pumps, lights and refreshed electrical systen. Cabin pillows have been recovered. Comes with all required safy equipment, including Marine radio, portypotty (never used). This is a great ready to go fishing or pleasure that will get where ever you want, in or offshore and home again.

WHILE I STILL HAVE TOW VEHICLE, WILL BRING TO YOU (REASONABLE DISTANCE) FOR "GAS MONEY." Acquired in early 2014 from my dad's cousin. I don't have time to use it enough to justify keeping it. Original 5.0 liter engine was replaced with a 5.7 liter remanufactured Jasper engine at some point. I had to replace the coupler (joins the engine to the stern drive, had to pull stern drive and lift engine out to do this), one major repair you won't ever have to worry about. Completely cleaned carburetor, replaced plugs and oil, tuned up, and have used for almost two full seasons now. Runs like a champ. Two working depthfinders, one brand new that I just installed. A section of the keel is a bit banged up from an ill-advised "beaching" I made in 2014, but boat is perfectly seaworthy. Just finished using it in Michigan, on vacation, for a week. Water pump impeller changed at beginning of last season. Engine oil and stern drive oil changed at the beginning and end of last season and beginning of this season. New prop hub and 4-blade prop gives it a great "hole shot" even though it is a fishing boat configuration. It has blue bimini top (shown in one of the pictures) and gray camper top with side and back curtains, all in good condition, just missing a snap or two here and there. You also get the gray trailering / storage cover shown in the picture on the trailer. It is stored in Aurora, Illinois but I am willing to bring to and launch in Burnham Harbor (Chicago, right by Soldier Field) so you can take for a "spin" if you are seriously considering purchase. Will also consider selling engine and stern drive (the two together as a package, leaving me with just the hull and trailer to deal with the disposal cost of) if there is anyone interested in those, either to use or just for parts. Tons of gear (for skiing, tubing, and fishing, including a manual downrigger, a couple of electric downriggers I haven't gotten to work yet, and some custom 6-8' "salmon" rods) I will sell with the boat or separately depending on whether you want "the whole package" and we can agree on price.

1988 Custom Universal Boats Inc., This is a custom made boat by Universal Boats Inc. It is an '88 26 foot long with a 7.5 foot beam, 24 degree dead rise. It is powered by a 1996 (port) and 1997 (starboard) twin mercury 225's (2 stroke carbs) which are mounted on a custom made aluminum gil bracket. There is a swim platform mounted on top of the bracket with a swimming ladder. It has a forward cabin which is good when you want to get out of the sun or rain. You can sleep two people inside with an air mattress. I will also throw in an air conditioner which sits on top and blows cold A/C through the sunroof hatch. The inside cabin is all lined with Herculiner and the floors padded with marine foam padding. It has fresh and salt water wash downs, forward and rear bilges, floodlight, VHF, Lenco trim tabs, hydraulic steering, live well, courtesy lights, and fish cleaning table. It comes with a splitscreen Lowrance 527 GPS and fish/depth finder. It has a stereo system with 2 bazooka speakers tubes and a bose on the t-top and 2 speakers in the center console. I have custom made covers for the leaning post and for both engines. I do not know how many hours on the engines. It has 150 gallon fuel tank. I have not performed a compression test but the engines run great. Boat comes with a triple axle trailer. This boat is ready to go fishing, diving, or joy riding. Everything on it works!
