When Correct Craft came out with their new 1997 hull design I chose not to upgrade because I wanted an all-round boat. 1997 and newer Ski Nautiques are more of a dedicated slalom boat. Many consider the 1992-96 model hull design the best all-round Ski Nautique. The gelcoat is scratch free, the carpeting is in excellent condition and the floors are rock solid. The vinyl upholstery is rip and tear free and is still soft and supple. The 351 Ford 5.8 ProBoss PCM Engine only has 550 hours and runs exceptional. You could look for a LONG time and not find a Nautique in this condition. If you have been looking for one you know these boats have depreciated down to this price, even with up 1000 hours. Here is your chance to get one in excellent condition with half the hours that will still be worth 10,000 when your ready to move on. Correct Craft has long been what could be considered the standard by which all other tournament ski boats are judged, and its 196 model is perhaps the best example of an old-school, closed-bow three-event boat. For starters it leaves behind flat, buttery soft wakes that are easy to knife through on a ski edge, but also creates little spray, which becomes important at shorter line lengths and when trying to see your way through a slalom course. Performance: It’s an easy, non-jarring ride that makes the hours in the driver’s seat less tiresome. There is a big following for these ski boats. Many ski schools still utilize these hulls for training. Wake: Some consider the “bubble back” Ski Nautique the best overall tournament ski boat ever designed. Kristi Overton set a world slalom record behind one in the model’s first year that has only recently been matched. If you are looking for a great and reliable open bow Ski Nautique this is the one. The boat has had three owners since new and always used in Indiana. Check the photo's and see what a well taken care of interior looks like. I have pointed out in the photo's the three cosmetic flaws that you can see. All maintenance has always been kept up to date. You can put this boat in the water the day you pick it up and enjoy it for the entire summer knowing there isn't anything to do but have fun. Also if you want to learn to barefoot or teach someone how to ski the boat comes with a Barefoot International Ski Boom. The boat is PCM powered and will pull as many as 4 skiers. Never any hull or driveline damage of any kind. The trailer pulls great and the boat comes with a cover that will last a few more years. Please review my feedback and you'll see that anyone who has ever purchased anything from me is totally happy and satisfied with their purchase. ONLY 824 HOURS ON THIS BOAT!!!!
