This 1999 Precision 28 appears to be in good condition. The seller has maintained her. The engine runs well and was recently serviced. The cabin is clean. The sails and rigging are of unknown age but in serviceable condition. The bottom is cleaned monthly. The portside and starboard rub rails have some damage midship from rubbing on pilings it does not leak only needs new rub rail, the seller started the repair but needs to be finished Stock #387384 Clean and well-equipped! The hull was painted in 2020 and is serviceable, the deck is firm and the surface is shiny. The wooden brightwork needs a seasonal surfacing. There is no evidence of water infiltration around portholes or through bolts. The Engine was replaced with a rebuilt Kubota M12 in August 2018. She is a gaff-rigged ketch and she has generous accommodations in her cabin. Her arrangement is a V-berth forward, galley to port, storage to starboard, two settees, and a porta-potty to pull out from under the bridge deck. Her self-bailing cockpit is large enough for family and friends to spread out. Storage is provided in the lazaret and under the cockpit seats. When not under sail she is powered by a 2006 Tohatsu 6 HP four-stroke engine. She will sail upright and go to windward well as her name indicates. The local and visiting consultant was very impressed with this vessel. This platform, space, and combo can accomplish several different things on the water. The canvas on the boat appears to be in good condition isinglass it's not cloudy or foggy there is snap in carpeting throughout that appears to be in very good condition.
