The year and hours of the Westerbeke 40 are unknown and it was last serviced in October of 2020. The Sails and standing rigging are said to be 13 years old or less. The mast was last varnished in October of 2020 when the bottom was painted. This Paul Luke has been well cared for and will make her next owner proud. Stock #234171 32 Foot Sloop, built by Acclaimed Builder Paul Luke in Booth Bay Maine. Born in 1912, and Retiring in 1994, Paul Luke built a lot of High-Quality boats over the years. The Friendship 32 design was one of his most popular sloops. Her hull is built of longleaf yellow pine on an oak wood frame and she was built for all sailors to enjoy. She's 35 feet overall with a 10' beam and a hull speed of approximately 7 knots. WIth her sloop rig, she has the mainsail, jib, and a drifter sail. The Cockpit is huge, allowing for all your guests to enjoy the day on the water. In the cabin, her galley is aft with an icebox, stainless steel sink, microwave, and Chamberlain Coal/Woodstove. Prior to the 2013 boating season, installed new engine cooling pump and water circulating pump. The engine generator was removed and was replaced with a new alternator. Also installed new Hawkeye digital depth sounder and thru-hull transducer. The steel exterior and interior have been painted with a 2-part epoxy paint (see details). There are new steel roofs over the cabins and pilot house sections. Two new pilothouse doors have been installed as well as new plywood floors. Nice 1996 Maxum 32CSR they call it a 34 ft with an unusually spacious interior and headroom is excellent 36 gallon water tank 30 holding tank 11 foot beam Twin Mec 5.7motors raw water cooled Hi I am 62 years old bought the boat in 2008 from the one owner (original ) buyer that bought the boat in 1996 in Illinois, brought it to the Lake of the Ozarks MO. where it has been and is now. I used the boat one week last year hand did not use it this year that is why I am selling this great boat. It has low 460 hours and 465 hours!!!!! The boat is in the water at the marina still winterized from last year. I replaced both water pumps and changed the oil last year. That is the only repair I have done to this great boat. Everything worked on the boat as it should except the power front light port side light broke and radar is not hooked up. It has a sun top over the driver. Air/ heat NO GEN! The boat need s and good waxing and cleaning it has not been used so it has not been cleaned as good as it was cleaned in the past I went and washed the boat this labor day so it needs a good buff and wax I took photos of the boat when I was washing it yesterday I have not cooked on the boat or used the bathroom since I have owned inside is as new!!!!!!!!!!!give me a call Ron 816-813-8650 clear title in had and the boat is registered until 2016. no trailer Boat can stay at in the slip for $200. a month this month is paid! 2017 Yellowfin 32 (2) on order...!! (1) was just sold...!! Still (1) avalible to customize to your needs... Spring 2017 Delivery..!! The Boat Dimensions The length of the boat stem to stern is 32 ft 6 inches. Out side the motors it comes in just about 35 ft. The width of the boat is 9 ft 9 Inches. Some say Yellowfin took the 31 and the 34 and made the best out of both boats in the 32. The weight of the boat is a modest 8800lbs rigged, not a great feat for trailer or lifts making this boat even more practical for most. The center of gravity has been adjusted and well thought out to handle the monster 4 cycle engines. This made for even more room in the back for fishing area. Design Functionality Because of the console being moved forward the fishing area to the rear is tremendous. Also, along the sides next to the console with rods in the rod racks there is plenty of room. The console is neatly layed out to allow for easy read of electronics and plenty of storage under the forward seat. There is enough room for a small porta potty. The Storage in the boat is massive. Handling Without a doubt the best riding most stable v bottom 30+ foot center console I have ever been in. At drift she does not rock and roll like some V bottoms tend to making bottom fishing in a side to swell a breeze. Trolling she does really well. Up wind there is enough bow to keep her out of the swells up to 7 ft without trying to dip. Downwind she stays steady and does not try and surf. Across it its like your not even out there. Speed trolling I can run up to 22 knots she will stay steady at 12 - 18 under 15 she surges after 18 she planes. Cornering, this boat is on rails. Shallow draft when running she runs in about 18 inches if needed.
