Hello everyone!!! Here I have a nice 1985 Chris Craft cuddy cabin walk around that has everything fisherman would want or to go do whatever's. It's powered with a 99" evenuied 175hp has 300hrs and just got it servesed. It has a 99" galvanized trailer with 5 new tires, all new bearings and has a storage box to go with. The boat has a Bimini top that harly been used and two boat covers one canvas and one plastic. Too much to list new fish finder and If the price is right I'll include a 20 hp Mariner kicker motor with the boat all you have to do get it installed... Bought it to use for spreading my Dad's ashes over his favorite fishing pond, but was able to get that done with a seaplane so now the boat is a project I can't seem to get time to complete. Sure that it will need a little work to get everything going, my plan was to clean the Aluminum to new, repaint what was needed and get the main boat motor running. Right now I will sell at a reduced price and YOU can have that fun and save a few bucks. If I take the time to put my labor into it the price will go up significantly. You are getting a whole boat package... don't fall asleep on this one, it will go quickly. Of course, this is a LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I took a little time to compare similar packages online, both at eBay & "other" online sales venues. Didn't really find any with this much included but I think the price is fair based on what I saw. If you look up individual prices for a similar sized Aluminum Fishing boat, a 16' Tilt Bed Boat Trailer, a 9.9 HP Mariner OB, Minn Kota Turbo Trolling Motor, and throw in another couple hundred for life jackets, anchors, oars etc. I think you will feel the same way. This is a great package, just clean it up and start fishing. I can sell it for less, but the 9.9 HP Mariner, will be swapped for a smaller sized 3.5 HP ESKA (JC Penney) Outboard... still better than rowing, but a bit slower than that Mariner. I will reduce by $300 with that motor.. just mention you want the 3.5 HP Motor and you get $300 off. That motor cranks, everything moves, waiting for you to add gas and start. If you want to buy that motor in addition to the whole package then let's talk... and I have more trolling motors. It is also for sale locally so I may remove this listing at anytime if it sells locally.. thanks and here's the info. *** 1967 ALUMACRAFT ROW / FISHING BOAT *** The registration on the boat says 1967 AlumaCraft and there are plenty of original manufacturer plaques inside the boat to show that. I will include TWO new Alumacraft vinyl side labels that are close to the originals ones that are long gone now. These are normally placed at the rear of the boat on each side. The boat looks good overall, and the motor mount is still strong & sound but could use some new paint. The boat width is 54" at the widest point and runs that width for most of the length. The overall length from bow to stern is 14'. Boat Name is "FISH IN" right now, but make it your own. It has 3 nice sized seats, one smaller forward seat, DOUBLE mounts for oars (it is a rowboat) and I will throw in all of the cushions and PFDs shown. You get it all, tow vehicle and gas can not included. The blue trim paint is chipping in most places and my "plan" was to either repaint or remove. I also found a nice Aluminum "deOxidizer" online that can restore this boat to shiny new. Overall the boat is OK, but a little work and this survivor will look good as new. If I don't sell before my projects run out this year then I will restore it myself, and of course the price will be adjusted as well. Your chance to get it at a great price and have some fun right now. Note: I also have the rear drain plug for this rowboat as well, those normally get lost along the way. This allows you to store and still drain rainwater away, which is why it's not in the boat. *** 2006 TILT TRAILER *** The registration states this is a 2006 homemade trailer, but I doubt that. It is a tilt bed, has some added PVC guide poles and comes with a 1 7/8" ball hitch. Trailer looks to fit this boat well, and has a ratchet crank for help in loading as well as lighting that does work. The plug for the lighting is a 4 prong inline style and has been wrapped with tape to protect the wires I did try the tilt bed, and that does work fine, with a chain lock. The overall length of the Trailer is 16', tires are a good, ready to tow home and start going to your favorite fishing hole. Crank winch works well, both ways... and the support from wheel is just as nice. GREAT TRAILER!! *** 9.9 HP MARINER (Mercury / Yamaha) OUTBOARD BOAT MOTOR *** I can only say that this came with the boat, seems to have plenty of compression when I pull the cord. I do have a manual for the motor , and a few extra carb parts that were in a box of accessories when I got this boat. The motor appears to be from the late 1980s or early 1990s based on what I see online about this manufacturer. I do not have any gas cans, haven't tried to start it so leave that all up to you. Original Maintenance Manual Included as well as some parts still in original packages. Appears this motor is owned by Mercury but may also use Yamaha OB parts as well. There is a FULL ILLUSTRATED Maintenance & Repair Manual that was ordered directly from the supplier included, as well, shows all major repairs, specifications, tune-up, and includes detailed exploded Parts Views & Catalog Numbers. Folks, This is a nice highly desirable boat motor and nothing makes me believe this one won't start right up given fresh gas and a little cleanup. This motor is clean inside, hope the pictures show that. NOTE: There is a substitute Outboard option to lower the price a bit if you like. for $300 off the final price you can take a 1970s ESKA 3.5 hp Outboard, most likely the Seacruiser model but this one is branded as a JC Penney motor. The motor gas tank smells ok, it is empty, the hand crank turns, all knobs work fine, would most likely start if it had fuel. THE LAST TWO PICTURES ARE FOR THIS OPTIONAL MOTOR but will not be included if you take the 9.9 Mariner OB Motor in the standard package. *** MINNKOTA TURBO 90T TROLLING MOTOR *** This one is Model Number 90T which designates the higher thrust package. This one has 40# of Thrust and features the larger "weedless" design propeller package. This one is battery operated and works well. I did try this with a battery and worked fine, in BOTH directions (forward / reverse) from slow to fastest speeds. Mounting Clamps are good, nice addition to this package. Motor seems strong running & quiet, runs well... needs a little cleanup from storage. So you have 10hp to get you there and this little gem to start trolling for the big ones. *** ADDITIONAL PACKAGE ACCESSORIES *** I have 3 Orange Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs) included that came with the boat, also 2 floating seat cushions that are in great shape. There are two oars but the oar holders that drop in the boat mounts are not there. Oars are wood and Featherlight brand with nice grips added, they and in decent shape but older. There is a bunch of rope, and TWO nice boat ANCHORS included as well, one is the locking type, the other is a round one that is for sandy bottom use. It's a pretty nice package, I've cleaned out what I could here and you get everything boating related... enjoy. She is a full keel vessel that offers a high degree of stability and comfort in any seas The below is my last survey May 30, 2012 Yacht Survey and Condition Report At the request of Mr. Peter M Licnikas the undersigned surveyor conducted a condition and valuation survey of the yacht “GUST-O” a 1978 48 ft Mermaid Ketch sailboat as it lay on jack stands at Yankee Landing Marina Merrimac St, Newburyport, Ma 01951. Name: GUST-O Year: 1978 Builder: Pali Shiang Taipei Hsien, Taiwan Model: Mermaid 42 Ketch Documented: 624951 Hull ID: TAC420251278 Dimensions: LOA 48' LOD 42' Beam 12’2” Draft 6’3” Displacement: 14 net tons Type: Sail Intended Use: Pleasure Hull Graphics and Color: White hull, green bottom Estimated present Value: $71,200.00 Estimated replacement value $245.000.00 Scope of Survey: The purpose of this survey was to estimate the current market value and marine risk evaluation. The survey of this vessel is based solely on careful visual and non-destructive inspection of all accessible portions of its structure and available equipment. Complete inspection can only be made by removal of soles, decking, headliners, ceiling or hull lining, tanks, and joiner work. Complete inspection of machinery, auxiliaries, piping, tanks, systems, electrical wiring, electrical and electronic equipment can only be made by continued operation or by disassembly. This would be damaging in nature and prohibitively time consuming, and therefore was not done. This vessel was surveyed while in lay up at Yankee Landing Marina, Merrimac St. Newburyport, Ma 01951. I visually inspected all sections of the vessel and its equipment detailed in this report. General Description: This hull is a reinforced fiberglass molding hand laid up using alternate layers of mat and woven roven with polyester resin. It is stiffened with web floors, bulkheads and joinery flanges. The hull design incorporates a molded lead filled keel and rudder for ballast. The hull is heavily built and is rigged as a Ketch designed for sail with a 45’ main mast, and 25’ mizzen mast. Bottom: Underwater surfaces were smooth and fair with no signs of damage or recent groundings. The bottom paint was in fair condition. I sounded the entire hull with a phenolic hammer and found no voids, blisters or delamination. I also placed an Electro-physics moisture meter on the hull and found it to be in the acceptable dry range with readings of 15 and less. Through hull fittings were all bronze and appeared original and in good condition, however none were removed for inspection. I observed several through hull fittings that were plugged or partially blocked by barnacles and growth. I recommend the fittings be cored out. The keel is lead filled for ballast rated 9400lbs. The propeller shaft is a 1” in diameter stainless steel supported with a rubber stern bearing with an external housing, all in good condition. I placed a target on the shaft and rotated it. The shaft tracked true within visual tolerances. The rudder is supported at the top with a 1.5” bronze shaft. The shaft and bearings turned smoothly with no signs of wear. Boot top up was white epoxy paint. The paint was in overall good condition with only minor scuffs. I observed one deep scratch on the starboard side that I recommend be repaired to prevent moisture intrusion into the underlying fiberglass. Topsides: Topside teak wood has been removed and replaced with fiberglass with non skid. The topsides were in good condition solid with no signs of moisture or rot. Cabin ventilation is through four Lexan covered 24”X24” teak hatches and four brass 6” air scoops. The life rail was rubber coated stainless steel cable with stainless steel stanchions. All stanchions were well secured and solid. All cleats were stainless and wood in good condition well bedded and solid. The rub rail is teak in good condition. Tanks: The two fuel tanks were rectangle in shape located under the cabin sole. The tanks were aluminum and well secured with proper fill and vents and rated at a total of 88 gallons. Water tanks were rectangle in shape and located under the cockpit sole. The tanks were well secured and fitted with proper vents and fill. The tanks were rated at 110 gallons. Spars & Rigging: Masts and booms are constructed of wood and appeared straight and in good condition. Both masts were rigged with no stretch stainless steel cable and turnbuckles. All rigging was in good condition well secured to the hull and properly tightened. The masts were in need of new paint. Hull Interior: Below decks I removed loose floorboards, opened lockers, and removed drawers for the best inspection of the hull interior and bilge area. I found all bulkheads to be secure with no signs of stress or damage, and the bilges to be in need of a minor cleaning. The interior was finished in custom teak in good condition, and consisted of a V berth forward with full head and shower. To the rear was a salon area consisting of a bench seat on the starboard side and a dinette on the port side. To the rear of the dinette was a galley consisting of a 4 burner natural gas stove with oven, ice box, and double stainless steel sink. The starboard side contained a large chart table with electrical panel. To the rear was a second full head on the starboard side and large master stateroom with queen size bunk. Bilges where sited were generally clean. Bilge pumping was with one super gulper manual pump in the galley. Along with a 12v rule 1500 main pump, and a rule 1000 backup. Steering on board is a pedestal center post with a 3’6” wheel turning a Sea Star hydraulic system rated at 1000 psi. Electrical: The vessels electrical supply is both 120ac powered by a shore power cord only, and 12v. The shore power only powers several outlets. All AC outlets were GFI protected except the outlet near the chart table. I recommend that outlet be changed to a GFI outlet in accordance with ABYC recommended practices. The 12v system not powered up at this time. The 12v wiring was well run, secured, and appropriately sized with a breaker panel and battery selector switch mounted above the chart table in accordance with ABYC recommended practices. The 12 v system was powered with three 800 amp combination starting/house batteries and one 1200 amp and 1000 amp dedicated house batteries. All batteries were in acid proof boxes and well secured located under the aft bunk. Fire Protection: Fire extinguishers consisted of four BC size I. Propulsion Machinery: The yacht power is from a 1978 Perkins 4108 diesel rated at 80 hp. The engine has a 60 amp alternator for charging the starting and house batteries. Engine compartment ventilation was through two 3” intake and exhaust. Engine mounts bolt to steel I beam beds with no apparent signs of movement. Fuel lines are copper hose in good condition. Engine seawater intake is through a bronze ball valve with sea strainer. Engine exhaust is direct to the transom through rubber hose. Fuel filtering is with a Racor filter/water separator in good working order. Lube oil was clean and filled to the proper level. Engine was not running at this time due to winter layup. Engine controls were mounted in the rear cockpit with a single throttle/shift lever with push pull cables. The cables functioned smoothly and were in good working order. THERE IS NO WARRANTY GIVEN OR IMPLIED FOR THE FUTURE USE OR LIFE OF THE ENGINE DESCRIBED HEREIN. Ground Tackle: Ground tackle on board consists of a 40 lb plow type anchor with a good lead of chain and of 5/8” nylon anchor rode. As seen, this vessel would be a considered a suitable marine risk for its intended use of inland, bay, and near costal operation provided all (*) recommendations are complied with, and all U.S. Coast Guard safety equipment is properly fitted. The estimated value was based on the average selling price of vessels of this size, type, construction, condition, and age, with all equipment and accessories observed aboard. This value is based on personal knowledge and experience with the present sales market, along with listings on the internet, references, resources, and publications available to this surveyor, and is represented as our best opinion with available information.
