This vessel is designed for ocean duty! Built in the traditional Naval resorcinol process, her 108' wooden hull is 2 1/4" thick, comprised of Douglass fir planks over Alaskan cedar and tied together with laminated white oak beams. I fell in love the first time I stood up in the v-berth bilge, and I still love this boat! The details are available on the Internet, just google search for "yp685 wiki" to discover specifications and lots of photos of this vessel and her sister ships which are still active at the United States Naval Academy. I hired a Detroit Diesel expert out of retirement and we started on the starboard engine as the port engine was missing the starter. I purchased AGM batteries and the engine fired on residual fuel the first time we spun it! The left cylinder head was partially removed so we removed it for inspection then reinstalled it, that's when I ran out of money (May 2014). I sourced the missing port and starboard engine parts but don't have funds to buy them. This can be an operational vessel with as little as $25k invested in parts and labor to address the issues identified in the survey (June 2014). I was able to finish the white paint job and seal the rain leaks, and install high-capacity bilge pumps in four of the nine water tight compartments, but I am out of time and money, and I have too many boats so I have decided to sell this one. I towed it to its current location in Solomons Maryland, and it is tow-able to your location if you desire to move it. The current slip location is excellent, and paid through June 2015, however you will need insurance coverage to stay. We can schedule inspections anytime, but I recommend day time visits, just call 205-540-6952 to schedule the visit with me, otherwise please do not board the vessel, the cameras and security system is armed, local law enforcement officers regularly patrol the area, (and I prosecute trespassers). I will deliver a hard copy of the recent survey when we meet, please do not ask me to email it to you. Vessel is suitable for towing, buyers are responsible for towing, once is enough for me with this huge boat, vessel is sold as is where is. I did not take all of the photos in the ad. Buyers are responsible to determine vessel suitability for their particular application with regard to EPA requirements and Maritime import laws, where applicable, as we can offer no counsel or advice on the subject. By placing a bid on this auction you are entering into a contract with the seller and agree to the terms of sale listed in this auction. Seller expressly disclaims all warranties, either express or implied; including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and neither assumes nor authorizes any person to act for it regarding any liability in connection with the sale of the vessel. Any controversy or claim arising out of or related to the placement and/or acceptance of a bid and/or the purchase and sale of the vessel on which the bid is placed shall be governed by Maryland law and the buyer and seller agree to arbitration process in accordance with the rules of commercial arbitration of the American Arbitration Association in front of three arbitrators. One selected by the seller, one by the buyer and one by the two selected arbitrators sitting in judgment. Any court having jurisdiction may enter judgment upon the award rendered by the Arbitrator. Seller reserves the right to cancel the sale if, in seller's sole opinion, the buyer is unreasonable or abusive. Seller will warn buyer only once that their behavior, actions or positions are perceived by seller to be unreasonable or abusive prior to canceling the transaction. If seller cancels the transaction due to buyer being unreasonable or abusive seller will retain deposit or payment made by buyer but no other costs incurred by buyer of any kind. Vessel registration is the buyer's responsibility. If you do not accept all of the above conditions and rules then do not bid on this auction.

Double-thick bottom glass, sides and deck need need sanding and refinish. I got the flotation fore and aft from a guy who lived in my duplex and was contracted to rebuild the dock at the maritime academy in Vallejo, and he said it was the best. Comes with 1960's Sea King trailer with new bearings. Bolger design eight-foot mast and my ten-foot mast for better passenger head clearance (these are 2x2 fir per Bolger.) All lines and fittings included plus random extras like an REI guide paddle, fishboat anchor with line, and whatever else I can find in the garage. I have the blue-line plans I built it with, if wanted. This boat was finished bright and was never taken out without receiving compliments or expressions of awe from random yokels. I'm too old to get in and out of it, want to get it out of my declining-years driveway and have to either find someone who wants it or dump it. The price is set to pay for this announcement plus eighty dollars gravy, but a few thousand extra dollars would be appreciated. Ready to haul away on the trailer, tires might need air.

This is a very clean SeaRay that we have owned for one year. We had an appraisal of $110,000 last year and we have completed a number of repairs. With just a little bit of work, this boat would be a top notch vessel ready for the Bahamas. The refrigerator stopped working last year. I have the appraisal from last year available. This was a donated boat to our academy. We are selling because we need fishing boat and not a cruising vessel. Condition is good. Buyer must pickup vessel within 10 days of sale. Delivery is not available.

1972 Nautor's Swan 48 Sloop “CONSTELLATION” has a long nautical history and has played a very important part in the sailing and military heritage of the USA.  The United States Naval Academy owned this beautiful sailboat from December, 1979 to December, 1997, when it was sold to the current owner. She was sailed and won the 653-mile Newport-to-Bermuda Race for the first time in Naval Academy history in June, 1992, with Ensign Kyle Weaver at the helm along with his 8 midshipmen crew.  Ensign Weaver was the youngest skipper to win this race and bring home the St. David's Lighthouse Trophy.  This incredible accomplishment is still remembered among midshipmen everywhere. Today, Commander Weaver is still serving his country in the US Navy. The “CONSTELLATION” was designed by Sparkman & Stephens of New York and built in 1972 (Hull 11) in Finland with the Swan “Passion for Craftsmanship”.  Nautor’s Swan has been the true sailor’s choice for close to a half a century by designing and building luxurious, high performance yachts in Northern Finland. Swan has a strong heritage, skilled craftsmen, and pursuit of excellence in every aspect of the build. The current owner took three (3) years refitting the “CONSTELLATION” in order to make her comfortable for cruising, mechanically sound, and capable of sailing any blue water challenge.  Since 1997, the boat has received complete upgrades and refits including new teak decks, total new electrical wiring, new plumbing, new stainless steel fuel tanks, new water and holding tanks, new Yanmar 76HP turbo engine, new Panda 3.9KW Generator, which is located is a custom slide-out cabinet for easy access.  She has been refitted with (2) Barient 28 3-speed coffee grinders, (2) Andersen 62ST 2-speed electric winches, (2) air conditioning/heating compressors, water maker (virgin, never used), Zeda water purifier, and the list goes on and on.  “CONSTELLATION” is a cutter rig with only 46 having been built from 1971-1975. The original boat design was changed in the 1990’s and is now known as a Nautor’s Swan 48-2 with emphasis on cruising versus racing, although the racing prowess and success is achievable, if desired.  The “CONSTELLATION” is a once in a life time opportunity to own a part of America’s United States Naval Academy heritage and still enjoy a magnificent cruising wonder and adventure on any of the world’s waters. We are very proud to represent this pristine Swan 48 and welcome the opportunity to show her to you. Give us a call. You will not be disappointed! BE SURE TO OPE

Seeking a buyer or business partner - YP685 has been sitting idle, waiting on me to get enough funds to finish her refit. A decommissioned United States Naval Academy "Yard Patrol" boat, YP685 was stripped of parts before my purchase, I've been collecting parts and working as I can to prepare the vessel to pass Coast Guard inspection. My original intention was to refit for ocean surveying, but... YP685 would make the perfect dinner cruise vessel for Naval Academy alumni and their families visiting the Annapolis area. The revenue possibilities are only limited by the time and financial commitments of the next owner: weekend cruises or weekday cruises, quality of the dining experience, duration of cruise, there are a number of factors that can influence the revenue with this business opportunity. The vessel was built with a commercial galley to serve daily meals to a complement of 24 midshipmen and 6 crew members. The dining room seats 18, and the main salon could seat another 12 depending on the table configurations. Burning 10 gallons per hour per engine at cruise speed (8 knots) results in a meager $60/hour operating expense for fuel at current prices. Hire a Captain, Mate, Steward, table attendants, chefs, and you're ready to schedule cruises once the Coast Guard assigns the Certificate of Inspection. The current conditions which I continue to address are: port engine is missing numerous parts required to operatestarboard engine is missing numerous parts required to operate port generator is missing numerous parts required to operate starboard generator is missing numerous parts required to operate fuel lines show some age and segments should be replaced engine controls are missing from the pilot house rudder controls are missing from the pilot house recommission the commercial fire alarm and suppression systems haul out for inspection and repair of running gear as required install hydraulic davit on foredeck for tender and anchor recovery all electronics have been removed, navigational equipment is required repair and recommission the plumbing systems My realistic estimate is that the boat can be made operational with $30k invested in the re-fitment, and another $30k will bring it to a level to receive the COI AND present well enough to get high reviews by dining guests. The end result of this investment is a news-worthy dinner cruise experience on a path toward sustainable and pristine, award-winning appearances along the eastern coast. The initial boat survey appraisal was $125k (at the time of my purchase), but I am simply looking to recover my investment, or locate serious investors with interest in such a business. I am seeking an exit strategy and debt payoff. One possible source for operational support would be creating a Foundation to preserve the heritage of the Yard Patrol boats of the Naval Academy. Starting a non-profit with this intention would certainly become a catalyst for exposure as well as financial support. The business model for a dinner cruise is ideally suited for an existing restaurant with available dockage where the owner is searching for a “hook” to bring in more patrons. By docking at the restaurant, YP685 will attract more patrons to come visit the boat. A modest cover charge would allow visitors passage across the gangway onto her decks where they can explore the feeling of being on and in a YP. Perhaps a limited number of tables can be set up in the main salon providing the consideration for many of the enjoyment of the dinner cruise experience. Reservations can be sold for dinner during a two-hour cruise in the vicinity of the Severn River, providing passengers with spectacular views of the local landmarks from the deck of an operational YP. Dinner would be served in two or three waves, with each deck being served at a specific time frame, allowing the crew to pace themselves to provide maximum service to the passengers with minimum fatigue. Two short cruises could be scheduled for Saturday afternoon, and three short cruises could be scheduled for Sunday. Private cruises could be scheduled ad hoc, allowing opportunities for exclusive charters. The boat is big enough to accommodate a live-aboard Master in the v-berth, and the rest of the vessel could be restored to duplicate the fitment as used in training, allowing Naval Academy alumni to show and explain to family members what the experience was like as a midshipman on their first mission cruise. Without the constraints of government contracts, certain aspects of the vessel can be improved, reducing or eliminating some of the unpleasantries while improving safety and comfort for passengers and crew: more effective mufflers and exhaust for the engines and generators, more efficient heating and cooling systems, more intelligent electronics and security/safety systems, deployment of the latest video cameras, proximity systems and engine controls, etc. The upgrade possibilities are limited only by funding and passion. This vessel has the potential to become a national landmark in the Chesapeake Bay area. Her Master would give numerous talks, and the vessel’s social media pages would get global attention. I suspect that the other yard patrol boats will quickly be targeted by interested investors, willing to either compete for the money and notoriety or preserve their own experience as midshipmen. Or perhaps the next owner of YP685 will grow the Foundation and fleet with additional vessels as they are decommissioned. It is possible that the Foundation may request sponsorship, receiving the decommissioned vessels for free from the Navy as a way of preserving the heritage of the Naval Academy. In the meantime, the host restaurant will continue to thrive.

2002 Premier Gemini 21 FT. The motor is a bullet proof suzuki 90hp fuel injected 4 stroke 2001 model. Runs awesome. New plugs and fuel line. Has a brand new canvas on the bimini(sunbrella), fish finder and cd player. Has livewell and aerator. Speedo doesnt work. Trailer is less than year old and is double axle. I bought it with missing paneling, looks like it was in a slip during a storm. I replaced the front gate panel and right rear panel with sheetmetal and riveted it in. There is a small tear in one seat, the rest are good. Fishing chairs go in the back, i took them out to use fold out ones from academy. I had the transom worked on and it is stronger than it was from factory. Our 8month old doesnt care for the lake yet, figure she will in a few years, and we are building a new home also, so why not sell this to a family that will make good use of it. Titles are clean and clear for boat and motor. Id have to look and see if there is one on the trailer, not sure. Boat is currently docked at No 9 Marina on Lake Eufaula. Only trade i would even consider would be for a honda pioneer. I will not ship it or deliver it, that is on you.

1989 Pursuit Model 2650, Powered by twin 2002 200hp Johnson Ocean Runners, Call Mike @ 631-987- 2841. OVERVIEW: For the size of this boat it handles large swells easily here off the Montauk Point, She is very easy to handle and can be used either for fishing, cruising or for any sort of family fun, I have a ten year old daughter who would invite her friends on board, and they had a blast tubing and inshore fishing and swimming off the aft, It really is a perfect boat for a family and includes a new AM/FM/CASSETTE stereo radio, The engines have been yard maintained and purr like 2 kittens, She is sitting on a dual axle trailer, however for my convenience I kept her docked at the local marina. LAYOUT & FEATURES: All electronics are Raymarine and the boat was rewired 4 years ago, I really hate to sell her but I am a disabled American veteran and it is hard on my hips and back, She holds 240 gallons of fuel, 120 each on the port and starboard sides, Her cruising range is quite astonishing, especially when the engines are running around 3500 rpms, At that level she cruises at 26 knots per hour, Down below she has a stand up head, small fridge, one burner electric stove , plenty of storage, She sleeps three very comfortably, as the V berth is expandable by moving the dining table, All the covers have been totally redone, Electronics include 3 way radar system, gps, depth and fish finder, cb radio, The radar can be split into 3 screens so actually she has 2 gps systems and 2 depth finders, I , being a Naval Academy man class of 1973 have always made sure to have backup systems if needed, Other things that are on board are too much to list so please call for all the details. Questions, call me @ 631-987-2841.
