This Islander is in very good overall condition with serviceable sails, solid rigging, and a 20 HP diesel engine that runs great. The boat is dry inside with no leaks. She was inspected in March of 2023 along with getting minor hull repairs, new bottom paint, new cutlass bearing, and shaft stuffing. She needs some cosmetic attention such as new topside nonskid paint, refinishing of the topside wood trim, and cockpit teak deck. The inside is in good shape but ready for some upgrades to the new owner's liking. Stock #359748 ***SALE PENDING*** Islander 36 Ready to Sail with Recent Bottom Pant, Cutlass Bearing, and Shaft Stuffing This 1972 Islander 36 is ready for a new Capitan. The boat was valued by a professional surveyor at $23,000 in March of 2023. She is well outfitted with a Lazy Jack system for the main sail including a Stack Pack, a Schafer furling jib, a solid boom vang, a hydraulic backstay adjuster, stainless steel rod standing rigging, and with lines rigged for single-handed sailing. The starboard settee converts into two bunks. There is a quarter berth to port aft and a large V-berth rounds out sleeping capacity for 6 adults. The Islander is a popular model of sailboats between 1970 and 1987. They are highly sought after and the even have a club of owners. We have owned "Surprise" since 2011. We have campaigned the boat successfully on the Bohemia River and upper Chesapeake Bay. The swing keel draws only 4’ when up and 6’10” when the board is down, making it prefect for the upper Chesapeake. Last season she won the ERYC Bohemia Bay Wednesday Night Racing series and the Gene McCord Memorial Race. “Surprise” continues to be a fast and competitive racer. The 150 genoa is on its second season. Sail inventory includes a main, #1 genoa, 1 spinnaker, 1 asymmetric drifter, … In addition, she has proved a comfortable cruiser for those times when we weren't racing. This 1980 C&C 34 Sloop offers a great deal of comfortable cruising for a very reasonable price. She has beautiful lines and is a great all-round boat with a good turn of speed. She is roomy below decks with over 6 feet of headroom and accommodations for six. Side decks are large permitting easy movement around the boat, and forward is a large anchor locker. Her bottom was painted in spring of 2022. The boat is in very good shape with a large V-Berth, Convertible Settee that sleeps 2 and a Port Aft Bunk that sleeps 1. Galley has a 3-burner stove/oven, sink and top loading ice chest. A single head to port and large hanging locker before the V-Berth. She has a Yanmar 2QM20 20 HP Diesel, 2 - 12V batteries + Inverter, Keel stepped mast, Furling Jib, two Danforth Anchors + 50 feet chain and 200 foot of rope, Maroon Sail Cover that matches Bimini, Dodger and wench covers. All lines led into the cockpit, sailing instruments in cockpit, 3 bumpers, and 50-foot Shore power cable. She has a custom cover for the winter. The new owner gets all this plus the equipment and accessories listed below. The 34 is considered one of C&C's better designs, equipped for racing and cruising. Call for a showing today. We sailed this legendary blue water cruiser from St Croix to New York city in late spring 2020. We then began stripping her down for a refit. Now partners have moved away and the boat needs to change hands. The hull is amazing. One look and you know she will sail anywhere in the world, and quickly. The center cockpit design is wonderful to sail and the aft captains cabin and private head are a very welcome feature. She's been repowered with a rebuild Perkins 4-164 that runs like a tank, we averaged 0.78 gallons per hour on the last crossing. Comes with all standing and moving rigging, some is old and some is less old, but it's all there. Same with the sails. I believe we have 90% of the deck hardware as well. A couple of the stanchions need replacing and the traveler needs to be rebuilt. All winches are in tact and most recently rebuilt. We have stripped the bulkheads from the V-berth to the salon, as well as the chainplate stringers. New stringers have been begun but need to be finished. Needs forward bulkheads done, floor stringers and flooring, fuel and water tankage, and could use new electrical. We have three batteries aboard but our plan was to completely overhaul the electrical system so thats what we recommend. You can rebuild to the original floorplan or go custom for your intended use as was our plan. There is a 40-45 gal fuel tank in her now, originally she was set up for 117 gal fuel and 132 gal water. Decks have been sanded and patched, ready for paint. Portlights have been removed and we began cleaning and refitting them. They will need to be cleaned up and refit. The Port side caprail was removed and will need to be replaced. The boat comes with a lot of solid mahogany, marine ply, and MDO for rebuilding. This boat is PERFECT for you if: - You want a bulletproof and fast blue water, open ocean cruiser - You have more know-how than cash - You are comfortable fiberglassing We literally have most of the material on board for the rebuild. You will need tools and a place to keep her on the hard for a coupe months while you finish her up.

2003 Hunter 44 Aft Cockpit Manufacturer's Description:Hunter Marine continues an aggressive product plan with the introduction of the 44 Aft Cockpit Cruiser. This innovative cruiser shares the same performance hull with the recently introduced 44 Deck Saloon, but comes in a lower profile. The boat was drawn by noted designer Glenn Henderson and sports some rather intricate features not usually found on cruising boats of this size. First is a "Bow Hollow", which increases the flow of water in the forward sections and increases hull speed. Second is a "Stern Reflex", which allows a flatter exit wake and less turbulence. This also increases performance. Hunter has learned much from the recent IOR boats and has incorporated some into cruising boats to enhance their performance without sacrificing comfort and the ease of sailing. The 44 Aft Cockpit offers superior amenities and comfort. A unique forward stateroom layout featuring a Pullman style double berth provides plenty of space and storage. The salon is full beam and allows for entertaining and dining in grand style. Aft, is the master stateroom, which is enhanced by carrying the wide beam well aft. Innerspring mattresses are standard and the finely finished teak interior and cabinetry are first-class. Upgraded hardware and fabrics really make a difference.

2009 Hunter Aft Cockpit 49 The 49' Hunter is well known as a great cruising vessel with many functional features that make extended trips or live-aboard practical and comfortable.  They are also easy to sail shorthanded offering remarkably good performance with the benefits of shoal draft.  The cabin enjoys extensive natural light and shows great with cherry finish cabinetry and cherry & holly laminate sole.  An excellent galley arrangement with three double berth staterooms plus a good sized convertible dinette.  Please review the full specs and photos. This particular vessel, a 2009-model is owned by a retired professional pilot and this is his 2nd 49' Hunter.  With his experience from the previous 49 Hunter, he has been through this boat end to end and addressed every detail.  After a year of cruising, the possibility of family obligations have convinced this owner to offer this turnkey vessel at a fair price.  June 2016, BIG BLUE was in the boatyard where 2 coats of Petit Ultima SR 60 ablative antifouling were applied and she is now back at her home slip near the Jupiter Inlet.  My listing sheet will not do this boat justice and if you are in the market for a 49' Hunter, you need to get aboard and inspect BIG BLUE. Big Blue is ready to go this summer, so an Independence Day price reduction is in order - Now asking $259,000.  Sincere seller, Come and take a look!

1994 Custom Ketch Dashew Style 4JH2-HTBE Health concerns force another price reduction. Reasonable offers encouraged.  "Myth" fits the genre of the Dashew style of fast cruisers like the Sundeer and Deerfoot ranges. Fast cruising that allows one to outrun weather systems and shorten passage times while minimizing rolling and pitching is an enticing alternative to sailing heavy boats that have to motor in light air. Myth has a lightweight epoxy and carbon strengthened construction on a long waterline with moderate six foot draft and a manageable sailplan split between two masts that can pass under ICW bridges. The deck and hull are constructed with Tri-axial fiberglass using only epoxy resin over a Kledgicell foam core. The hull core alone provides this 24,000 pound yacht with 48,120 pounds of ultimate buoyancy. High stress areas on either side of the keel are re-inforced with carbon fiber. Flush decks, center cockpit and a hard dodger complete a design package that reeks of speed and efficiency. The  interior is well lit with white vertical surfaces and overhead. The layout features a desirable owner's aft stateroom with center-line double berth, extensive storage and an engine room that allows easy access to all sides of the motor and systems. The galley is of small apartment proportions in terms of sinks, counter space and storage. The owners of Myth sail to the Caribbean, Florida or the Bahamas each year at speed and in safety. Over the past twenty years Myth has proved herself to be the consummate passagemaker and cruising yacht for a couple.
