At Ray Electric Outboards we focus on what is important. Reliability. Our first motor was sold in 1974.  Since that time and thousands of motors later, over 99 percent of our motors are still in service.  Personally, we think that speaks volumes about reliability. Powerful. The Ray Electric Outboard is well suited for powering the family pontoon boat around the lake all day.   However, the same Ray Electric Outboard is more than capable of powering large loads.  Numerous commercial tour boat companies throughout the world depend on the reliability and quiet power of the Ray Electric Outboard to keep their customers moving. Versatility. Unlike many imitations, the Ray Electric Outboard is designed first and foremost as an outboard whose function is to be the primary source of power.  This permits our customers to adapt the Ray Electric Outboard to their lifestyle and needs. The Ray Electric Outboard is built in the USA.  It features a single lever control, a patented dual air cooled electric motor that delivers up to 250 pounds of static thrust (System 500) coupled with the finest and quietest gears available and a large specially designed and efficient propeller that is guaranteed not to bend or break for two years after date of purchase, one year commerical application. Unlike gas motors, the Ray Electric Outboard starts instantly, every time and requires no winterization.  Charges overnight for pennies and will run all day long on a single charge giving you the security of knowing it will take you there and back efficiently. The Ray Electric Outboard reaches its maximum efficiency when paired with one of our distinctively engineered Ray E-Boats that feature true displacement hulls.  The Ray E-Boats are capable of cruising speeds of just less than 8 mile per hour or sustaining cruising speeds of five plus miles per hour for up to 12 hours on a single charge.  Additionally, our Ray E-Boats handle easily both in forward and reverse giving confidence to even an inexperienced boater and even the grandkids. The Ray Electric Outboard – Reliable, Powerful, Versatile and Quiet non-polluting power that will serve your needs for years and years.  In fact, it will probably be the last electric outboard you ever buy, unless you are adding a second boat. Ray Electric Outboards – We don't Troll – We Motor Stay Charged and begin enjoying the outdoors by listening to the view. There is not an electric outboard motor on the market today that can  match the reliability and performance of a Ray Electric Outboard see testimonials on our web-site at www.rayeo.com

"America's Littlest Yacht," this 1973 classic Carl Alberg-designed beauty looks and handles like a much bigger boat. It's a guaranteed head-turner -- stand by for thumbs-ups from passing boats! Swift and stable, its full-keel design tracks very well, making it ideal for coastal New England. Roller-furling jib and main included, rigged for spinnaker. Very new 2013 solar-charged, 6-circuit 24-AGM electrical system, w/Raytheon depth-finder, automatic electric bilge pump, LED cabin and running lights. Lightly used 2002 Honda 2.2-hp, 4-cycle, air-cooled outboard motor starts on the first pull, and had a professional overhaul in May. Moves the boat along crisply at 4.5 to 5 knots. This boat is sail-away ready. No trailer included, but its shallow 2'7" draft and 2,000-pound displacement makes the Typhoon an easily trailerable boat. Marina haul-out and dry storage fees are paid through September, if you need time to arrange transport. Three coats of blue Interlux Schooner anti-fouling bottom paint, sanded and primed in 2013, no blisters of any kind. Anti-slip blue deck and cockpit floor coating on solid, white fiberglass hull. New spreaders, standing rigging, windex, Genoa sheets. Sails not new but years of good sailing ahead. Blue Sunbrella mainsail cover, UV-block Sunbrella fabric on trailing edge of jib acts as furled cover. Custom Sunbrella Bimini and clear plexiglass Dodger (!) with stainless supports for sun/rain protection while under way. Lots of other gear, too much to mention. Just launched June 12 for the season, now gently bobbing on its mooring near the southern end of Route 123 in the scenic lobster-fishing town of South Harpswell. No lowball offers, please: I'd rather keep it!

Opportunity knocks... 38' Californian Trawler / Long Range Cruiser. Priced below market value - for immediate sale - for a serious buyer. Nice clean boat - ready for your enjoyment. Located in a great slip in Marina del Rey, CA. This Californian Trawler was built in the USA, in Santa Ana California in 1978 You will experience a SOLID quality ride on the ocean, with this classic, quality-built trawler. (You are getting American Quality here – not like those cheap Taiwanese trawlers made with substandard parts by 6 year old kids in a sweatshop) This can be your vacation home on the water. Only 10 minutes from LAX airport, and convenient to all best parts of Southern California. Three (3) huge decks - plenty of room and easy to walk around. Great for parties. Bathroom with walk in shower+bathtub. Plus another head with walk in shower adjacent to 2 bunkbeds upfront. This boat would make a good rental on AirBNB. I originally advertised it there at $149/night and had quite a bit of interest, (but decided it's not my thing to have strangers sleeping on my boat). You can probably rent it out for 10 nights/month and cover all your costs. The engines now have about 900 ORIGINAL hours on them. That is almost like a new boat – when you consider this is a 33 year old boat!! The boat had only 2 previous owners. Previous owner had it for nearly 30 years before I purchased it in October 2010. Please shop around and compare similar boats on the market and you will see the value offered here. This yacht has 2 (full size) beds in the main sleeping area along with a nice size bathroom with shower and bathtub. There is also a second area in the front with 2 bunk beds and a bathroom with shower. Importantly, this boat DOES NOT SMELL! (I remember when I was shopping for boats and about 90% of them had that funky boat smell. The good news is that this boat is NOT one of them.) The carpet, and drapes on the boat are from original owner, and are due for a replacement. I was planning on replacing these, but will leave that up to you, the new owner to choose exactly what colors/fabrics you like after you buy the boat. NOTE: some of the photos show zebra/leapoard fabric on the upholstery. My girlfriend put that on because she thought it was more fun than the original 70's fabric. However if you prefer the boring original fabric, you can simply pull off the zebra/leopard cover. Check out videos of this boat on youtube.. search term is “californian trawler 38 for sale”… You will see videos of the boat at sea, and also being taken out of the water at survey. Boat is in good running order, and ready for your enjoyment. Below are the only material problems with the boat that I am aware of. (I prefer you to know any and all negatives in advance, so that we don't waste time.) - Missing anchor and chain (About $600 to replace) - 1 of the 2 radars not functioning due to cut wire (You will probably want to replace with digital radar anyway) - Above 2000 RPM, port engine gaskets start leaking. (Relatively easy fix, but I have not addressed this since I rarely cruise above 1500 RPM) ******************** I am happy to show the boat, surveys, documentation, etc. to any serious buyer. ("Serious buyer" means somebody who lives within 250 miles of the boat, and is able to inspect the boat within a week, and has funds in place.) To screen out the flakes and tire-kickers, on ebay, please show *proof of funds*, showing you have cash on hand and ability to purchase the boat, before scheduling any viewing appointment. ******************** (copied from survey 2010) SPECS Hull: Modified V-bottom, shallow keel, hard chine, transom Hull#: JCM381181177 Built By: Marshall Boat Co. I am relisting this great boat and giving the buyer the time to pay for it over the next four months or 120 days if they choose. I would take a $500 deposit through ebay and pay pal, with the understand that within 120 days it is paid for in full. If for any reason and/or at any time the buyer is not able to keep their part of our agreement, I will return all money I received as payments for the boat, except for the $500 non refundable deposit and down payment. I had 13 people on this boat last summer, how many monohulls this size could do that? You have a trailer to transfer it any time, any where you want or need to. Has an outboard motor with electric tilt., so servicing is easy. No need to pull the boat as an inboard would make you. And I have the mast craddle on the trailer rigged to step mast with 2-3 people like a daysailor boat! In other words you will save money with this boat and party with all your friends ! I bought this 2 years ago and had it transported from Texas. I was told it was refurbished....I since have gone over ALOT(everything) on this boat. The motor was BRAND NEW (DID NOT have OIL in the crankcase) and had warning stickers on the housing when I installed it onto the boat. The sails were never installed and were folded and in the bags. I know this for a fact because I had to replace the mast slides because they were under sized. I have 2 furling systems, 1. used riggging using the existing hank on sail 2. used furling rig and hardware. This will have to be adapted to the mast rigging and the sail I have fabricated and cut. This sail is beautiful perefct condition. I removed the galley cabinet (were made of painted pine and plywood). The toilet does not discharge corectly (plumbing and valve installed incorrectly), I have a self contained toilet that could work better ? The sinks are operated by foot pumps and the water holding bladders are under the 2 aft beds and are filled from decks above. There are 2 @2 1/2lb. propane tanks, these are used for the stove and 3 way refrig. I have a brand new depth finder to be installed by new owner. I used a hand held gps and VHF radio. I will include 4 fenders , anchor,it's chain and rope. I also have a Achilies inflatable dingy with carry/storage bag and owners book and a Honda 4 stroke 2 hp air cooled motor to go with all the above. I do not have a title for the trailer. The boat weighs an estimate 2,300 lbs. The trailer 500 - 800 lbs. and will need 4 new tires if the new owner is going to transport any considerable distance. If winning bidder wants I can help in having tires installed, they would only pay for the shop's bill/invoice for tires, balancing, ect. and labor. The trailer has new wiring and lights, is roadworthy and traveled from Texas 2 years ago The draft is 18 inches with the daggerboards up and 48 inches with the daggerboards down. The mast from water line is 37 feet and the beam is 10 feet The transporter did not have permits nor a tag on the trailer when delivering it 2 years ago.
