This Albin has only had two owners. The current owner has owned it since 2007. The boat is in normal condition for its age. Seller recently spent 27k on the engine- water got in the engine compartment so he was proactive and had the engine disassembled and checked- most of the external parts are new- He replaced components such as the starter, alternator, steering pump, water pump, etc The seller has receipts available with an offer. The engine runs great according to the owner and only has a couple of hours of runtime since the engine work was completed Everything onboard operates as designed. This Albin is equipped with a Garmin GPS plotter, a bow thruster, windlass, and trim tabs. There is also a cockpit enclosure that goes almost to the stern, leaving room to walk outside still. Down below the v berth is comfortable with drop-down bunks for storage or crew. There is an enclosed head with a shower, a refrigerator w/ small freezer, sink, and storage. The Volvo Penta diesel engine is strong and ready to go. The turbodiesel is a popular model. The engine was serviced and many new external parts were recently replaced. The sterndrive has duo props. 1986 Albin 27 Aft Cabin (LOCATION: New Port Richey FL) The Albin 27 Family Cruiser is a compact aft cabin cruiser that is at home fishing or cruising. A full-length keel provides sure-footed tracking while the two and a half foot draft allows thin water access.On deck we start up front with a bow pulpit with retractable roller and Danforth anchor. Stainless steel bow rail and teak handrails allow safe movement forward. Aft of the raised cabin is a semi-enclosed helm with hard top, opening center windshield, and sliding side windows. The starboard helm with moveable captain’s chair provides all-weather operation. The center cockpit can be open for fishing with room to maneuver or enclosed with a blue bimini top with full camper canvas. Cushioned seating to either side provides a place for enjoyable cruising. A teak swim platform adorns the stern.The forward cabin is well laid out and ready to cruiser. As you come below you will find a full galley along the port side. 1988 Albin Yachts 27 Family Cruiser - Stock #080103 - Beautiful Albin Family Cruiser In Excellent Condition!! Albin did a great job designing this beauty. What an amazing blend of styles. A cross between a Trawler, a Cruiser, and an Aft Cabin here is the Albin Family Cruiser! She is compact and loaded with all the goodies. What a wonderful classic boat the whole family can enjoy! She has had the same owner for the last eleven years. During those years she has always been in fresh water only. This Albin 27 FC is in great shape, but it's in need of a new home because it has seen very little use over the last few years. Mechanically, the Isuzu 157HP diesel and Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmission are in great condition. Interior is also in very good shape and has been well maintained, cleaned and cared for. Has dual fuel filters that were changed every season along with the oil filter and oil. Cooling impeller changed last season pro-actively. Some of her navigational goodies noted were the Standard Horizon GPS chart plotter with C map NT and the JRC radar with LCD display. She has two new batteries last season with an on board charger & solar panel to charge starting battery. She also has a depth & water temp gauge, speed & distance log.
