This is the Sedan model with an enclosed pilot house, which creates a very roomy interior. She has twin, Chris-Craft 327Q marine engines with two 50 gal. fuel tanks. The Q model is fresh water cooled and ideal for both fresh and salt water. The 12 Volt electrical system consists of one deep cycle house battery, two starting batteries, a 1500 watt inverter, and a 20 amp battery charger. The 110 volt system consists of two 30 amp shore-power hook ups, all new wiring and 7 GFI protected 110 volt outlets. The galley is very spacious and includes an electric two burner stove, microwave, dorm-style refrigerator, a stainless steel sink and lots of storage space. The dinette converts into a double bunk. The salon has new carpet and new curtains. The fresh water system consists of a 25 gal. tank, automatic pump, and a 7 gallon hot water heater. The head is huge for a 31 footer and has a Dometic marine toilet w/holding tank, molded sink, a shower w/sump pump, and two entrances. There are two Dometic reverse-cycle marine air-conditioning units which keep the boat very comfortable in both summer and winter; one is in the salon the other in the forward state-room. The V-berth is very large and there is plenty of storage space in two large lockers. Topside there is a teak anchor pulpit with a Simpson-Lawrence Hyspeed windlass and two anchors. The primary anchor is a 22 lbs. Lewmar Claw with 30' of 5/16" chain and 200' of 5/8" rode. The secondary anchor is the original 13lbs. Danforth with approximately 15' of chain and 150' of rode. There is a stainless steel fender rack with four 30 in. fenders w/covers. The bow and stern cleats are new, 12 in. stainless steel, and through bolted w/galvanized steel backing plates. The mast and aft rail are mahogany. The cockpit has a flexi-teak deck, teak swim platform with stainless steel folding ladder. Also Included are custom window coverings, 2 deck chairs, 2 30 amp shore power cables, 6 life jackets, 2 fire extinguishers, vhf radio, a Garmin 540 chart plotter with all east coast maps loaded, and 2 spare propellers (recently reconditioned). The previous owner was a salmon fisherman and spent many hours with friends pulling in fish.There is a new bimini cover and new cockpit cover custom made by the previous owner.This boat has a 165 gallon fuel tank for plenty of range with a 35 gallon holding tank and two 30 gallon water tanks. It has twin Volvo (Chevy) 350s (fresh water cooled 270hp each) for plenty of power. The boat was repowered with these engines in the 1990s and they have 900+ and 1100+ hours on them, One was used exclusively for trolling when fishing and shows the extra hours. It is not uncommon to see 2500-3000 hours on these engines with proper care and these engines have been cared for professionally for years. The engines are easy to access and service which saves in mechanic time and remote oil filters are so easy to get to that an oil change can be done while out to sea. The outdrives are Volvo Penta 280s with Dual prop set ups. Dual props maximize power while providing about 20% more efficiency than single props.The manifolds have been upgraded to all bronze and are much more durable than the ones commonly found on these engines. The carburetors are newer and the starters were replaced by the previous owner. It has hydraulic power steering, 3 heavy duty batteries for engines and electronics and two deep cycle golf cart batteries for the cabin. (This boat never runs out of battery power) all charged by 100 amp marine alternators. When tied up the batteries are kept up to charge with a 110 v battery charger when hooked to shore power. There is a custom marine AC-DC circuit breaker panel and battery switches to disconnect the batteries when away. An automatic bilge pump and manually switched bilge pump provide peace of mind. Electric windlass for the anchor, trim tabs, plenty of lights below, DVD player for evening entertainment, three burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, and new sound system give this boat all of the amenities. The hull is hand laid fiberglass and is extremely thick (12 hand laid layers at the keel and 8 hand laid layers on the balance of the hull). These hulls are comparable to a Tollycraft, another quality boat of that era. This boat was seized for back storage owed. This boat is in good condition, and needs nothing to enjoy today! This has always been a Great Lakes freshwater boat. The engines are in good running condition, showing good oil pressure, with 1431 original hours, and can be driven anywhere. It would make a great family cruiser or big water fishing boat owing to the large aft deck. This boat would benefit from a polish and wax to make her look her best. Both upper and lower helm stations are functioning properly. The engines are tuned and running great. The port engine is a new long block installed last month. The starboard is original and runs great. Structurally, she is good condition, with no signs of damage or abuse. There are no major scratches, nor are there any repairs. The decks are solid, and the bottom has anti-fouling paint. These boats are renowned for having fiberglass stringers that are impervious to rot. The soft goods are in fair condition. The cabin upholstery and carpet is in good shape, except the V-berth, which could use new upholstery. There are sleeping accommodations for 6 adults, 2 in the V-berth, 2 on convertible settee, and 2 on sofa/bunk beds.
