Up for auction is a 1974 Thompson 24ft Fiberglass boat with Alpha One Mercruiser 260 V8 and Alpha One Out drive with a few hours time on a Rebuild. Has custom made hard top with fold down windows on all sides made with stainless steel brackets and a painted steel roof. The interior has been completely Re-upholstered. Boat is currently winterized. 1995 Trailer with new tires. The condition of the boat is excellent but there is age and patina on the surfaces. The paint on the top needs to be redone as it has peeled up in spots. I have an OMC 5.7L, 5.8L, 7.5L, or Mercruiser 5.7L. I have a Baby King Cobra outdrive that would go with the 7.5L. I have a Mercruiser Alpha one that could go with the 5.7 or 5.8L. located in charlotte,nc this boat will require a new engine block as one of the cylinders has water pitting.. I have rebuilt the engine myself and am not a mechanic you just need the time and a new block and gaskets. Right now the engine is covered with blankets and a tarp to keep water out. in 2014 i had a new transom put in $1,700, new trailer brakes and lines, new tongue actuator. Also a brand new SEI alpha one outdrive for $1,300 (only used for maybe 15 minutes). Took boat out and had engine problems which was a huge letdown as it was just rebuilt, machine shop gave me wrong parts after they cleaned the block! So I am finished don't have the time to pull motor and rebuild with a new block. My guess for how much to get the boat water ready (do it yourself) 3 thousand to 4 thousand. (have a shop do it) 5 or 6K. I will list below what I would do if I was going to finish the boat. Someone is going to get a heck of a deal, even if you just part out the brand new outdrive and the good motor parts. (recommend fixing)engine blockrear floor needs to be replace, little soft near the back cornersrear seats are weathered and may need some restitchingpassenger seat is double and the rear seam has split about 1 inch long (easy fix)rear swim platform should be replaced to look nice(trailer) just needs new tires and winch cable should be replaced (interior) following items have been recovered and not seen the sun yetfront seating pads, backrest, side bolsters (all kept in my house)front single captains chair is kept in my house thats all i can think of so i will post pictures.

1995 Mercruiser alpha one 3.0l motor and outdrive with ss prop complete 500 hr can start up and hear run. Have all paper work from when new with matching serial numbers. You or I can remove engine from boat or take motor and boat plus trailer. It's a 1995 regal 18 ft good Hall and floors clean title but has issues. The key,controls, gauges, horn, bilge pump, lights, blower motor and trim all still work just needs interior, good cleaning and some maintenance. Trailer is a 95 continental in good shape not much rust and comes with manufacturers certificate. 2007 Bayliner 185BR Bowrider Open Bow Sport Boat for sale. We just had the boat professionally repowered with a New 3.0L MerCruiser® Alpha I (135 HP) TKS engine and rebuilt Alpha 1 Gen 2 outdrive. The engine is still under the engine manufacturers 2 year warranty! Starts up perfect every single time and has tons of power. We have taken her out 3 weekends and put about 14 hours on the new power-train. Already changed the oil once for the break in period. All of the upholstery is brand new and all new bases on the removable seat bottoms with SS hardware. Driver and passenger seats fold flat for sunbathing. Has tons of under seat storage and a huge ski locker in the center, or fish hold if you are like us. Sturdy rear boarding swim fold up swim ladder. Storage compartments under port and starboard bow seats, large mid-cabin compartments with porta-pottie, built-in ice chests bow and stern. Comes fully equipped with bimini top, full Sunbrella cover, life jackets, ski vests, boat hook, fenders, dock lines, anchor, vhf radio, fire extinguisher and spare prop. Toys include tube, wakeboard, tow lines and floating chairs. Ready for immediate family fun on the water at a great price for a really nice boat. The above is my Husband's description. Here's my two cents worth.We bought this boat in 2001 from the original owner, who had stored it since purchase indoors. He owned multiple boats and, literally, used this boat only occasionally to take his Grandchildren out on the water for a day of fun. When we bought the boat, we had three children of our own - all under age 10. They enjoyed the boat, but did not love it. And because we purchased the boat specifically for family use, it saw very little use - only in the summer months and NEVER out more than 10 times in a year for short trips. My husband took wonderful care of it nonetheless, better care than we take of our cars - washing after each outing, waxing yearly, routine oil changes and yearly winterization. Frankly, the kids thought we spent as much time washing the boat as riding in it. As our children have gotten older, we have used the boat less and less every year, but my Husband held out hope this would change. It has not, and the financial outlay for our RARELY-used boat is now needed for college tuition. My 1988 Donzi Minx has been a joy to own but retirement and future travel are motivating this sale. This is the second last Minx made....hull # 165 and is in yellow with white a very rare colour combo. I looked over two years to find one in yellow and white and one which was as original as possible. This one was formerly owned by the service mgr of a large boat dealership and is in very good condition.....it get compliments every where I take her ! Some features : Engine : There was nothing wrong with the original 350 but I had a 383 Mercruiser stroker built ($12,000) which dynoed at 372 hp and 440 ft-lbs torque with all the good stuff.....Stainless Marine exhaust system (it sounds amazing) Holley, Comp Cam, full MSD ignition etc. Closed system cooling, Alpha outdrive, 2 new 6 volt deep cycle batteries, plus a new 12 volt. Only 25 hours on new engine and only 520 total on boat. Prop is a new 23 pitch. Interior: All original guages, shifter and Donzi logo steering wheel. White vinyl seating with yellow piping in great shape and really looks great on the boat ! Brand new Donzi Direct snap-in carpeting in dark grey. The desirable and very rare "Italian" windshield works extremely well to channel wind over your head and really adds to the looks of the boat ! Upgraded sound system with Sony head unit with JBL speakers and amp...a great sounding system. Exterior : All original gel coat in extremely good shape. Boat structure is extremely solid and like new....no issues whatsoever. Special order, factory installed teak swim platform is very handy for entering and exiting the water. A new aluminum rub rail has been installed and really makes a huge improvement to the overall looks of the boat. Bennett trim tabs work perfectly.
