Great boat starts and runs really well. Exceptionally well taken care of! Garage kept. I have the engine professionally serviced twice a year. Im selling because I need something bigger. If you want I can send you a video of the engine running. This boat was used lightly about once a week during the summer. It has a Semi-V hull. Ive had it for almost 4 years and have had no problems with it. When I got it I totally refurbished the interior. The floor is new the carpet is new the seats are new and the battery and water pump are new as well. Either paypal or cash upon pickup, either is fine. Call me or text me if you have any questions. this 14 Ft. Aluminum boat & Aluminum trailer , the trailer will take up to a 16ft. boat, look c lose to the pictures to see the condition of this boat & trailer. the boat has 4 seats, has a drain plug, oar locks, it is a very stable boat , the tag says up to a 15 hr. motor, but I have had a 30 hr on it & it took it up the lake very well & very fast, but it handle very well. this boat might even be longer than 14 ft. it is a very big 14 ft. . Rare 1959 Duracraft 15 ft aluminum deep-V runabout project boat. We purchased this boat back in 2008 with the intent of restoring it (see pic #1). The former owners used it as a runabout and for river fishing. We started with the trailer and rebuilt it to like new condition. Then we started on the boat. We removed the two front seats, old wood decking and transom, the motor, controls, windshield and all hardware (see pic #s 2-4). The next steps are to install transom wood, strip and refinish aluminum, re-deck, and reassemble. The windshield is still with the boat, as is the original steering wheel and all steering and throttle controls. The original motor is a 1960 Evinrude 55 HP 2-stroke. It comes with the boat and ran when we bought the boat. We planned to install a new motor, but didn’t get that far. This is a project boat and still needs a lot of work. There is no title available. Selling 1960 Lone Star aluminum boat , 15 ft. with 1960 Kiekhaefer Mercury thunder bolt 400 outboard engine with a clear Texas title. If you are looking for an old boat to restore, this is a great one to start with. This all aluminum exterior boat has been mostly kept inside and is in great structural condition! The fiberglass coated wood floor is very solid. The bottom and sides of the boat are very straight. It does need new interior though. The fabric is torn on the seats. The engine is a 45 horsepower outboard with electric start. It is a 4 cylinder motor. (fuel tank not included) It was last ran in 2003. It turns over freely, but does not start now. I think the carburetors need a good a good cleaning and it should fire up. The previous owner had it since 1980 and he bought it from the original owner. This 54 year old boat is in the best condition of any I have found. I bought it to restore, but have too many projects. Selling $1,175 Located in northeast Texas, near Paris, TX Local pick up only.
