This is a completely refurbished HEAVY duty aluminum fishing boat. New Yamaha 4 stroke 2.5HP motor. I completely stripped the boat and repainted the bottom and inside with epoxy marine paint. New seats, all stainless steel nuts and bolts. No leaks and no repairs. Completely redone trailer with new bearings, bearing buddy's, tires, spare, and new wiring and lights. You will not find a better built aluminum boat like this one. Anchor, new seats and benches, Perfect shape. Very well built strong and quiet on the water.

This is a 14' aluminum fishing boat. I got it with the hopes of fixing it up and fishing this summer. However due to other financial responsibilities I need to sell the boat. It has a fresh coat of paint and is looking good. The boat comes with a ton of accessories. I have 2 trolling motors for it (minn Kota endura 44) (motorguide t32), 3 kent life jackets, oars, anchor, piranha 1 fish/depth finder, ever start 10amp charger, 3 cup holders to be mounted where ever desired, trailer with 2 brand new tires and inner-tubes, fuel tank for a gas motor ( which i don't have ) And probably a few other things I'm forgetting. I have the title in hand for the trailer and a registration for the boat until 2016 not sure if I can transfer that over of not. Text or call me with any questions. This Blue Grass Aluminum boat was manufactured circa 1960 by the Belknap Howe & Mfg. Co. of Louisville, Kentucky. It appears to be quite rare as I have found none like it and the company has been out of business for some time. I was told the wood decking and trim is Mahogany. It is rated for a maximum of 25HP and up to four passengers. This boat was owned by Dr. W.C. Potter of Russell, Kentucky who was an avid fisherman, and it's safe to say this boat has probably creeled more Bluegill and Bass than any other boat still in use. It would be a gem for collectors or better yet a boat to be enjoyed for many more years by someone who loves to fish. It is fairly light weight and easy to maneuver which makes it easy to get in and out of the lake or to store in a garage. It has always been kept indoors which accounts for its better than average condition for a boat of that age. It has no rust to speak of, but there is a little corrosion near the hull on the inside that appears to be superficial and easy enough to buff out. The boat and trailer do need some refinishing and standard maintenance. I have stored it in my barn for about nine years. The Evinrude Fastwin 15 ran fine nine years ago, but hasn't been used since. The boat also comes with two gas tanks which I believe hold six gallons. The gas has to be mixed with the appropriate oil which requires a 6:1 ratio. The trailer requires a 1 7/8 inch ball on the hitch. I do not believe a person would have a problem putting the boat as is in the water and heading out for a good day's fishing, however a little refinishing, fresh coat of marine paint, etc. would likely ensure this boat's use for years to come. It had always been my intention to fix it up and use it regularly, but nine years have past and I never have the time. My uncle, Dr. Potter, would have wanted the boat used and I can longer justify simply storing it away. I'd love someone to have it that will enjoy it. I consulted with an antique boat specialist who suggested a value of around $2000 if it were in mint condition, but thought $1500 to be fair for the boat as is. I have decided to list the boat at $1125. If you are a collector or someone looking for a good deal on a fishing boat, the Blue Grass with its unique style and vintage panache is it. I'm selling my 14' Aluminum boat with all the boating gear to go with it. This is a complete package with an Eagle fish finder, great running 5 hp Sea King outboard that runs great, 30 lb thrust electric trolling motor, trailer, 2 custom fishing rod holders as well as onboard storage of the fishing rods. This will come with all the necessary boating gear to make it legal and the boat registration is good till 2017. This will come with 4 life jackets and a nice anchor. The seats are heavy duty and I purchased them from Basspro and were quite expensive and super comfortable. I've sat on them for more than 8 hours and wasn't uncomfortable at all. This does not come with the fishing gear pictured. The boat has no leaks. I changed jobs last year and don't have the time to enjoy this so my loss is your gain.
