This project is being sold "as is where is". The hull is currently tack welded within a fully insulated and functioning shop in Clarkston Washington on the shores of the Snake River a mere 120 miles from its mouth to the Columbia River and another 345 miles to the Pacific Ocean. Since the project currently is tack welded, final weld up and more lead for ballast need to be added. After which, she'll be ready to move to a new destination via truck or water for finishing if the buyer so desires. The shop is available for lease if the buyer decides to finish the boat on location. The hard "Bimini" top is not connected due to headroom within the shop. All specifications, cut files, blueprints, and plans are included. And, all aluminum to finish the hull is reported to be onsite. Construction began in 2005. Over the past 20 years, he has sailed over 42,000 nautical miles reaching over twenty countries and island nations. These experiences as a missionary and providing relief work were the catalyst for this project. Designed as a highly capable long range, fast and safe offshore sailing vessel in aluminum for sailing expeditions ranging from the tropics to the Arctic, the original intent was that she be capable of doing rescue work, mission work, and relief supplies delivery for troubled areas. Long range under power was also a primary requirement, thus one could legitimately refer to this as a true motor-sailor, with 100% functionality in either mode. The Schooner's lines will provide high performance in an easily driven hull, planned for maximum speed and the fastest passage times. The twin keels and rudders allow her to sit down where there is a big range with the tides. The interior layout has been planned around an extended family or a large charter party up to 20 passengers. As such, this 3 master will also make an exceptionally fine charter vessel. Displacement will vary from around 195,000# when lightly loaded, to a maximum capacity of 259,000# with tanks full, stores for twenty people, and the boat ready for a long passage, or alternately loaded with a cargo of supplies. REDUCED.....MAKE REASONABLE OFFER. I'M MOTIVATED. Proline 260 WAC hull (1992) with Loadmaster aluminum trailer. This is a project boat. No motors. I got this boat a couple of years ago as a project boat to restore and re-power. Has extended bracket and nice hard top with canvass.. Needs engines, rigging, controls, and has a few soft spots on floor. I ripped out old wall carpet and removed the head from the cabin. Sanded and painted the interior walls to make it easier to maintain. Just don't have time to get finish her. Would make a great Gulf boat. A single 250 would be enough to power this boat. Rare 1959 Duracraft 15 ft aluminum deep-V runabout project boat. We purchased this boat back in 2008 with the intent of restoring it (see pic #1). The former owners used it as a runabout and for river fishing. We started with the trailer and rebuilt it to like new condition. Then we started on the boat. We removed the two front seats, old wood decking and transom, the motor, controls, windshield and all hardware (see pic #s 2-4). The next steps are to install transom wood, strip and refinish aluminum, re-deck, and reassemble. The windshield is still with the boat, as is the original steering wheel and all steering and throttle controls. The original motor is a 1960 Evinrude 55 HP 2-stroke. It comes with the boat and ran when we bought the boat. We planned to install a new motor, but didn’t get that far. This is a project boat and still needs a lot of work. There is no title available. I have for sale a great and rare project for someone into old vintage aluminum boats. This is a 1959 feathercraft skibo with a very nice, clean 50hp mercury with controls. The motor is the desirable 4 cyl with a new starter, hoses, ect. It would fit perfect with the boat. The boat itself is clean and just needs finishing. Very straight and built solid. They don't make boats like this anymore and good luck finding one In the appleton area as they are very rare. I have been restoring boats for a few years and this is a honest good deal. Willing to separate the boat and motor but would prefer to sell as a package. The boat does have a shore lander trailer in good shape. Call or text with any questions.
