Here is your chance to own a truly salt water design classic. Only a few of these models were produced. It is basically a 25 foot version of the Rainbow Weekender. the hull is in perfect condition and dry. 3 head sails (one is a 3/4 oz nylon (red) drifter in excellent condition,and 1 main all are ROLY TASKER make. The entire boat has been professionally wired with marine grade cables, has 2 GFI shore power outlets. Lots of teak in need of refinishing and brass fittings, upgraded bow light and both control lines have been led back to the cockpit for easier handling. Lewmar #7 winches with bronze bells. Kelly green winch covers tiller cover, headsail deck bag and matching kelly green bimini top.new Suunto compass and Uniden depth gauge, set from waterline to bottom. 1100 lbs of cast iron ballast. Keel does have a chip taken out of it from hitting a tree at 6 knots, yes a tree 4 miles out in Green Bay. I will duraglass and prime the area this spring when weather conditions allow. Selling her due to medical reasons. To tell ya plainly, I got caught in an un-expected gale this past September and an accidental main boom jive caught my right arm and I fractured the upper arm bone, (the humerus) and I was 2 1/2 miles from port in 38 mph NE winds. The solo voyage back to dock was another one for the books But now I am very gun shy of sailing, well solo sailing that is. The boat is currently stored at a private boat yard in Oconto Wisconsin and storage is paid thru May 2015. Heavy duty storage craddle is currently spot weld to a yard use only trailer. If loading this boat on your flatbed trailer be advised that lift fees are paid for, An additional fee (may) apply to have that mast stepped and cradled. The owner of the marina is very reasonable to deal with. All sails and cushions are stored at my residence (Menominee,Michigan) as well as the gas tank, start battery, motor.

Robert at 731-468-0499 Great starter sailboat. 1972 Catalina 27 -- Dinette Interior Titled and Registered in Maryland Boat length 27 feet Beam is 8.5 feet. Draft is 4 feet NO Motor Included: it is set up for outboard on transom to take up to a 15HP All the electronics (including the Electro San) are less than 6 years old. VHF Standard Horizon VHF with DSC channel and GPS compatible. ST60+ Tri Data knot meter/log, depth sounder and water temp The sale is "As is". It has a bent pulpit, but it can still be sailed until it can be replaced. This is a very dry boat, I could not find any sign of leaks anywhere, this is very important with a boat of this age. Boat has a sail cover and dodger in good condition. Max speed ~6 knots; cruising speed 5 to 5.5 knots Three thru hulls with full flow ball-type seacocks (Head inlet, Head outlet and galley drain) Main sail in fair shape; I also have several head sails that I will provide one in the sale but will have to ship it from Tenn. After the sale is completed. Double V berth forward, dinette table converts into a double in main cabin, 2 quarter berths; only one quarter berth has cushions, several are new and are the red with ships. Manual head, Electro San waste disposal (no holding tank required and easy to winterize for winter in the water storage). The V-berth forward, dinette converts into a double bed, and the two quarter berths sleep one each. Steaming light Batteries: two 12V deep cycle batteries and charger. Still hold a charge but are dated and need replacing. LED Anchor light Steaming light Hull mounted running lights She is slipped at Eastport (Annapolis, MD). This Annapolis Wherry was built by an experienced woodworker from a kit by Chesapeake Light Craft (clcboats). The Annapolis Wherry offers thoroughbred performance on the water combined with breathtaking grace. The Annapolis Wherry has been turning heads since 1997, with hundreds and hundreds built all over the world. Solid stability, sea kindly lines, excellent tracking, a buoyant bow, and ample flare make the Wherry a natural choice for rowing in choppy conditions. The open design allows for plenty of sprawling and a picnic basket when beach cruising. Stability is strong for a performance rowing boat: you can step into the boat from a dock and even stand up. However, the narrow waterline means that the Annapolis Wherry is as fast as many "rec" shells, sprinting at 7 knots and cruising at 4-5 knots. At this speed you could cover 30 or 40 miles in a day. We hear of Wherries being used for camping and fishing expeditions. Arguably the best sliding seat unit in the sport, the Piantedosi monorail design is simple, elegant, and stiff, with an exceptionally smooth slide. Multiplies the horsepower of a human being by bringing to bear nearly every muscle in your body. Sliding seat boats offer absolutely terrific low-impact cardio workouts. Oars are made by Dreher in Germany. These 9' 6" graphite and unidirectional fiberglass sculls feature a tapered section design that is both very light and very stiff. Traditional Macon blades. These are expressly designed for sliding seat rowing boats. Sculls include soft rubber hand grips and Concept II collars and buttons to engage in Concept 2 oarlocks. Boat, seat, and oars are all in good shape. The boat kit retails for $1399, the seat $650, and the oars $499, for a total of $2548. Delivery within 200 miles is possible.
