The boat is in good condition, and as a very straight-forward fishing boat, there is not a lot to maintain. There are a few spots where the seller has repaired surface fiberglass damage, but all have been repaired and are solid. Stock #338890 A Bahia fishing machine! 115 HP engine, power pole, jack plate, ready to hit the water! The Shallow Sport Bahia 18 is one of the greatest shallow water boats ever made! With a draft at rest of just 6" and a draft on plane of just 3", if there is water you can get to it! The boat also has a jack plate and a foil to allow for great whole shots. The 115 HP Evinrude will let the boat run up to over 40 MPH and comfortably cruise around 22. This boat is very beamy for its length which, when combined with the wide set tunnel hull, provides a very stable platform to fish from! The power pole and live well make staying in your favorite spot and limiting out a breeze! Reason for selling is changing boat type.

Laser Bahia-- 2011 trailer is a 2015 Fantastic boat, very stable and fast. My son has out grown it and we are looking to step up to a bigger boat to bring non-sailors ie.girls. This boat has several great options. The mast float, full cover, and a gennaker which is a very expensive option. It also has a roller furling on the jib and a retractable center board. Very quick to step the mast and set up. It also includes the dock dolly for easy hand movement, sail storage bags and a custom trailer. Plus I have over 200.00 in spare rigging I purchased but never needed. This boat has always been covered and kept indoors. If you are looking for a way to learn how to sail this is the boat. 2010 Laser Boats Bahia,Te Bahia by Laser Performance is a high performance sailing dinghy. However if the sails are powered down it can be used as a day sailer. It is an exhilarating ride with a crew of two. The sails are in excellent condition. The main has single line reefing, and the jib has roller furling. The Gennaker, or assymetrical spinnaker deploys from a chute with a single line and is retrieved similarly. With oar locks and oars it can be easily rowed, and it has an optional mount for a small motor. I have never needed either while sailing from a launch site or dock. There is an added optional accessory container that fits in the stern which can be removed for greater cockpit room. The original cover is a faded red and it needs some very minor restitching. There are two custom Sunbrella covers. One is for the boat when rigged and the other for storage or transport. The trailer is in excellent condition and includes an integral launch dolly. The boat is currently on the trailer in Andover New Hampshire and would need to be picked up here. There are multiple videos of Bahias in decent winds available on YouTube and the Laser Performance site is available on the Internet for further information and specs. By the way I'm selling it simply because it requires more athleticism than I can muster at age 70 with a bad back. Otherwise I'd fly it in 20 knot winds. $7500, 6037355418

2008 Laser Bahia for sale with all of the accessories. Used Once. Always stored indoors! (Has seen the light of day for only a couple of days) Looks brand new as though it just rolled off of the showroom floor. Asymmetrical spinnaker with quick douse chute, roller furling jib, trapeze (with harness) and a gnav (upside down vang on top of boom which makes cockpit very open and safer). Comes with lots of extras; roll on/off trailer/dolly combo, storage bin in transom, top cover, bottom cover. Total when new over $11,000. Excellent boat, sails easily with a family of three or four.
