This thing is loaded with all you could get. Mercury Racing 525 w/Whipple has approx 67 hours on it. All of the following are 3 years old - Livorsi Gauges w/ GPS Recall speedometer, Livorsi billet controls, Isotta Aria steering wheel, Imco Dual Ram Full External Steering, Clarion Stereo with driver and transom remote, etc... These were upgraded to look the way Nordic builds their boats today. Most of the upgrades were ordered from Mike Chandler at Nordic.... The boat has drop out bolster seats, hydraulic engine hatch, dual batteries, 2 - ski storages , Sink with 5 gallon water storage,etc.... I do have the snap on bow cover, the factory Nordic full cover, a custom made Canvas cover that covers most of the boat and sides(see last pic), and The bimini top which I have had in storage since 2009 and never used. This Boat is BEAUTIFUL!! The outside is VERY Nice with no flaws to mention.The white in the pictures looks yellowish because of the sun when the pics were taken. The boat is BRIGHT WHITE and RED (just like the top and interior pics look) with metal flake silver scallops that look AWESOME. Upholstery is all Nice. The seats are all in Excellent shape, carpet looks great, Dash and controls look NEW,etc.... The boat has been BABIED by me. Nobody else ever drives it. If a screw plug fell off it was replaced. The boat was wiped down before and after each use. (Which everyone hated doing! LOL) It shows 67 hours on the meter that was replaced in 2010 and I think it had about 50-60 hours on it then. Hydromotive 29 P5X Prop pushes the boat to 84mph on GPS. It NEVER gets driven hard. Wife and Kids hate going fast and have begged me for a bigger boat (Cruiser/Day boat)with more room for 3 years. It Stays on a lift at Lake Texoma in Oklahoma with a custom Full Cover 4-5 months a year and in dry storage over the winter. Comes with a 2006 Roadrunner trailer with new tires. 1997 CHALLENGER OFFSHORE cigarette 28ft closed cabin boat in great condition. The boat has a 7.4 mercruiser with through hull exhaust and silent choice option. Motor is in great shape, sounds amazing, starts on the initial crank and runs super strong. The boat is in overall great shape and handles the roughest water smoothly. It sits on a nice tandem axle trailer that is also in great shape expect for the fender skirts, they could use some tlc, but the overall towing performance of the trailer is excellent. The boat runs out in the upper 60 mph, but Im sure if you are a boating enthusiast you can make some adjustments and add some things to pick up speed. Upper 60s was always plenty fast for us. Im asking low retail for the boat but Im always open to cash offers and even cash/partial trade. 1979 Carter Craft Safari 28 Sport Fisher, This 28 Safari is an amazing boat. It was built in the late 1970S by Carter Marine as this boat has cruised in Alaska and Baja California on multiple trips. (I have the original log books)It has a comfortable, roomy, open floor plan with galley, spacious table and separate head. Great for family outings and cruising. Plenty of room for family and friends. It also has a spacious cock pit and with ample room for fishermen and gear to fish (or crab) without getting in each others way. The previous owner was a salmon fisherman and spent many hours with friends pulling in fish.There is a new bimini cover and new cockpit cover custom made by the previous owner.This boat has a 165 gallon fuel tank for plenty of range with a 35 gallon holding tank and two 30 gallon water tanks. It has twin Volvo (Chevy) 350s (fresh water cooled 270hp each) for plenty of power. The boat was repowered with these engines in the 1990s and they have 900+ and 1100+ hours on them, One was used exclusively for trolling when fishing and shows the extra hours. It is not uncommon to see 2500-3000 hours on these engines with proper care and these engines have been cared for professionally for years. The engines are easy to access and service which saves in mechanic time and remote oil filters are so easy to get to that an oil change can be done while out to sea. The outdrives are Volvo Penta 280s with Dual prop set ups. Dual props maximize power while providing about 20% more efficiency than single props.The manifolds have been upgraded to all bronze and are much more durable than the ones commonly found on these engines. The carburetors are newer and the starters were replaced by the previous owner. It has hydraulic power steering, 3 heavy duty batteries for engines and electronics and two deep cycle golf cart batteries for the cabin. (This boat never runs out of battery power) all charged by 100 amp marine alternators. When tied up the batteries are kept up to charge with a 110 v battery charger when hooked to shore power. There is a custom marine AC-DC circuit breaker panel and battery switches to disconnect the batteries when away. An automatic bilge pump and manually switched bilge pump provide peace of mind. Electric windlass for the anchor, trim tabs, plenty of lights below, DVD player for evening entertainment, three burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, and new sound system give this boat all of the amenities. The hull is hand laid fiberglass and is extremely thick (12 hand laid layers at the keel and 8 hand laid layers on the balance of the hull). These hulls are comparable to a Tollycraft, another quality boat of that era. It was designed to be out in the open sea and is constructed to be able to handle whatever nature can throw at it. $13500.00

The company was founded in 1926 at 333 W Becher Street in Milwaukee, WI by two brothers James and William Welch who had a knack for building wooden plank hulls that were designed for speed. In 1928 the company was moved to Manistee, Michigan where it operated for the next sixty years. In 1930 its Century Hurricane held the world speedboat record of 50.93 miles per hour. By 1937 the company offered 28 models of boats to choose from. The 1940s brought about World War II and the firm received a contract and delivered 3,600 vessels receiving the Army-Navy E Award for excellence in production material.
