Thank you for looking at this sale. What we have is a Fresh out of the Barn Wriedt Stinger Jet boat..She was parked in the Barn 16 years ago..This is a 1976 built boat that since has had the carb cleaned along with a new Fuel pump put on and A new battery and it fired right up once the gas tank was flushed and cleaned and new gas added..The hot foot as seen is pics does don't go with this sale...It does have the factory hot foot that will go with the boat..However it will need the cable replaced. Michigan boat - barn stored with approx. 280 hrs. fresh water and only about 30 hrs. in salt water. 2nd. Owner, I bought it from an 82 year old gentlemen and went to Michigan to pick it up. The boat is equipped with a 5.0 liter engine with OMC Cobra Jet outdrive. New shift cables, transom boot and out drive serviced last fall. 1994 Powerquest 257/260 Legend bowrider. With a 454 Mercruiser Magnum 7.4L 365HP. As good, if not better in quality then a Formula or Cobalt. I do not think there is a cleaner 94 Powerquest 257 then this one. This truly is a barn find, This boat has been sitting in my Barn for years. I bought this boat years ago with No Power, It has been sitting in my nice clean and dry barn, Over the past year, I re powered it with a rebuilt 454 Mercruiser Magnum (365HP) and Bravo XR Performance sterndrive. The boat has approx 300 orig. hours on it, the rebuilt engine and sterndrive have less then a hour. I have over 30 years experience as a boat mechanic, check out how neat the engine install is, (see pictures.) The boat has always been in immaculate condition, the gel coat shines like new, the interior... dash,carpets, seats, structure's and compartments are all in great shape. The boat comes with a Factory, cockpit and bow cover. There is nothing negative to say about this boat, I have completely gone over the whole boat, everything works as it should. This is a VERY deep boat, Is has lots of storage, it has a large storage area in the floor that holds, skis wakboards and such, it has a small cabin in front of the passenger helm seat and a enclosed Bathroom with marine head in front of the driver helm seat. A great "Barn Find"! Here is a 1948 16' Chris-Craft Runabout Special "Rocket" that has been stored in a barn since 1996. The Special Runabout was not a runabout at all but a deluxe utility with a wide center deck that created a separate forward cockpit. Called the "Rocket" by Chris-Craft, these boats were nearly identical to the pre-war 16' Deluxe Runabouts which in turn were lengthened versions of the 1938 15-1/2' Deluxe Runabouts. The Rocket was offered varnished or painted, with choices of white, black, red and blue sides. The painted hull allowed Chris-Craft to use more readily available cedar. The boat is powered with a Chris-Craft "K" Serial Number 24768 6 cyl. engine. 1,040 were built from late 1945 through 1948. The trailer and cradle are included in the sale. Hello! The sad day has come in which I need to sell my dream boat. It's not a fancy thing like the new ones but there is a timeless nostalgia with these older boats that is just unbeatable. Anyways. I have a 1993 Supra Sunsport. It's a 21 footer. I am the 2nd owner. Currently has 850 hours and goes up almost daily. I bought this boat in Ohio from the original owners who had it factory built. I still have the certificate of origin. At the time Supra was a nearly bankrupt company so they weren't making a lot of boats. Hence why these are so hard to find. The 93 is especially desirable because it's the first they went to ALL fiberglass construction. NO wooden stringers/beams. NO wooden floors. NO ROT!! The 93 was also the last year they ran a carb'd 351. So needless to say this year boat is highly desired among Supra enthusiasts and they are very hard to find. When I got this boat it was mint all the way around with the exception to some minor dings on the port side from it being pier docked during some rough weather. (see pics) The owners day dropped it and stored it in a barn when not in use. Since I bought it, it has sat on a lift here in Southeastern Wisconsin and was stored indoors during the winter. We've used it and it has spent a lot of time in the sun so the age caught up with it quickly. There are now small cracks along the seams of some of the seats but really it still is in very good shape and holds very good color. The motor runs very good. No abnormal smoke. I had the carb gone through 2 years ago and had it tuned up last summer at Lauderdale Lakes Supra. There is no lack of power but if I had to pick on anything I'd say it could gain a lot from Holleys new updated 4160 carb. Not implying there is anything wrong with the one on there but it is a 20 year old carburetor. I've always ran Amsoil synthetic in the motor. Regular filter changes. Fuel filters. Spark plugs, etc. The prop was redone last year as well as the throttle cable. New fuel pump and starter 2 years ago. It has a 2 piece canvas cover that needs a few buttons replaced. 2 gauges have some sun fogging on them but are still visible. The port side windshield strut is missing. I may or may not have a replacement on there before it's sold. Last year I put all new speakers in it and a new Clarion Marine deck that has USB sync and AUX inputs. It has a dual axle trailer. Tires are good on it. It needs one lens cover in the rear but was rewired when I bought it. Not really sure on the trailer brakes because I've never towed it anywhere other than home from OH. It only has a 4 prong harness so I'm not sure how that is wired up. The rear seats have been reupholstered. Like stated before there is some cracking on the bow cushions, drivers seat and the ski locker door. I believe I've covered just about everything. This is a wonderful boat. We've had a ton of fun on it. With some weight has an amazing wakeboard wake and weighted right it surfs very well. Goes without being said it's a boss for skiing and barefootin. This Speedliner is in incredible condition; it is under a custom boat cover, a generic boat cover and inside a building. It's been stored like this its entire life. Original owner is an auto mechanic and has kept it in excellent condition. This boat belongs in a museum. Stock #319337 Excellent condition, low hours, always garage kept, it belongs in a museum! This is the most incredibly well cared for boat I have ever taken in. The seller is 2nd owner, purchased from the local Speedliner dealer as their showroom boat. He purchased the boat in 1971. He has used it very little over the years but has been meticulous in its care. All mahogany construction and a fiberglass shell was added for the lower hull portion that eliminates any wood rot. The interior is incredible, not a rip or tear and in perfect condition. As blue as it was the day it was delivered, no sun fading at all. The Mercury outboard was the beginning of Mercury Racing. This was their race motor back then with 6 cylinders and 100 HP. The trailer came with the boat, all of this is original. The owner is about as honest and pleasant as they come, I could not work with a nicer gentlemen. This boat and trailer I would categorize as a "barn find," it's really incredible to see. Reason for selling is not using anymore.

She has received Best of Show and Peoples Choice at the Toledo Antique and Classic Boat Show and the grand finale was receiving BEST PRESERVED CRUISER in Table Rock, MO at the Annual International Show hosted by The Antique and Classic Boat Society - ACBS the Grand-Daddy of the Wooden and Classic boat shows. These awards are only given to boats at the pinnacle of the condition ladder. Therefore, condition speaks for itself. Most recently, she has had new OEM aluminum fuel tanks installed and an aft seat installed and crafted to OEM drawings, which was an option back in 1948. Her interior is still in immaculate condition and everything functions properly. Stock #350770 Own a piece of history. 1948 Higgins Full Restored to original manufacturer specs. 2023 UPDATE: The Andrew J received the Platinum Award in the Cruisers Category among 10 Cruisers attending. She also received an award for The Spirit of Participation as well as Best Higgins. ACBS International Show up at Bay Harbor, MI. You are viewing the only 1948 26' Higgins Deluxe Sedan Cruiser known to exist. You're not alone if you have never seen or heard of Higgins boats. Based in New Orleans, production records were lost as a result of hurricanes. Higgins Industries produced WWII Military Craft during the war and then turned the plants into pleasure craft production after the war. She has won multiple ACBS Best of Show, Best Preserved and People's Choice awards and is still in Concourse condition. Her trailer was built and specially modified to keep her safe and sound while not in the water. A true barn find she was sent to Dan Nelson to return her to her original glory. This was not just a rebuild it was a top-to-bottom restoration to original manufacturer's specifications. The transom and cabin sides have been restored with beautiful Mahogany veneer, which maintains her Preserved Status. David Van Ness rebuilt the engine and drivetrain to original factory specs - 135 HP Chrysler Crown 6 Cylinder Engine and Paragon Transmission. The engine has approximately only 200 hours on it as she was used primarily at various ACBS (Antique and Classic Boat Society) boat shows and events. The seller states that she is such a joy to cruise in with the windows open and the breeze flowing through the shaded cabin and the folks in the rear enjoying the sunshine. Even rainy days are fun-filled cruising out of the elements. She has always been stored inside in a temperature-controlled environment and properly winterized after each season.
