The interior of the boat is in good condition. Shows nicely. There is a cover on it to keep out the sun. The seats are being detailed. The 2021 Bravo Three outdrive and the connector which are in the original box need to be installed. It needs 2 props. The hull needs to be painted. Some of the isinglass needs to be redone. It is missing a piece of the camper enclosure. Stock #358174 2007 Bayliner 285 SB Cruiser with 345 hours and new in the box outdrive with gimbal and transom mount. The 2007 Bayliner 285 is a versatile and comfortable cruiser that's well-suited for both day trips and extended cruising adventures, with a focus on providing its occupants with a relaxing and enjoyable experience on the water. This Bayliner is in eastern San Diego County. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the project, although almost done, needs to be completed. The seller has never had the opportunity to use it. It was bought in January of 2022. So what needs to be done to this low hour (only 345 hours) cruiser? The Brand New 2021 Seacove Bravo Three outdrive, which is still in the box with the connector, needs to be installed. And it needs 2 new props. It also has a horizon fresh water system. The forward berth has water intrusion from the starboard windows (pictured). The bimini top is dangling from the support. The bottom paint may need to be renewed if the next owner leaves the boat in the water. The gel coat could use a buff/wax for the original shine. The owner says this boat is in very good condition. / Update 2-21-20 The deck upholstery has all been thrown outside the boat, seating next to it. The keel for the sterndrive is broken (a big part). The exterior and interior of the boat have mold. Update 09/13/21 Engines do not start and have not been started for over a year. Stock #171283 Ciera 2855LX with low hours! Two staterooms, galley and head! Project boat LX model Cierra Sunbridge With a forward berth and a mid-berth. This boat has only been in Florida for a year, it came from Illinois. There is a spacious cockpit with a transom retractable bench seat and an L shape lounge seat with its own bimini top. The radar arch is molded fiberglass with built-in speakers. Many places where there will be a project needed to bring it up to speed. There is currently a 2 x 10 laying on the floor of the berth that you must walk on or you will fall through. Apparently, there was water coming into the boat for years from the front that was collecting on the floor and eventually rotted out the wood. The top hatch is missing and the cabin upholstery and carpet will need some work as a result. The bowsprit is cracked and may need to be replaced. This is a 1984 Bayliner Capri Cuddie Cabin PROJECT boat. Sadly, the previous owners did not keep it covered very well which resulted in the usual "soft" floor & rotted wood. I have stripped out 90% of the bad wood from the floor & the floor stringers. The 4 stringers will need replaced & glassed in and then the main floor added on top of them. Carpet would be the next thing that needs replaced. I do have all of the interior side panels-they would probably clean up satisfactorily OR you could have them reupholstered. I retained the folding seats BUT had to remove the seat "boxes" as they too were in too bad a shape. I kept one of the seat box sides for a pattern if you would want to go back to the "factory" design. My intent was to simply use pedestal seats. If you went with the original folding seats, they would need reupholstered as well. The cuddie area is solid but you would probably want to recover the cushions to match whatever you choose for carpet & seats. I have all of the hardware that was taken off during the stripping process as well as the original Bayliner swim ladder & mounts. The trailer is an Escort GALVANIZED unit that originally came with the boat and is in good condition. Tires are very good and it comes with a brand new spare tire & wheel. It will need the lights rewired, but I can do that, if you'd like, for transport. The hubs have Bearing Buddies fitted for easy greasing. Overall, the trailer is in good shape. I towed it home with a Toyota Tacoma with no problems. Overall length of the boat & trailer is 20' so it will fit in a standard garage. The tongue of the trailer could be unbolted to give you more working room as well. I have kept it in my garage during the "stripping' process to keep everything drying out for future work. This would make someone a great winter project that should result in a solid boat. A 30 to 50HP motor was my plan and should move it along nicely. I have a clean Ohio Boat title for this boat and it is currently registered with the Division of Watercraft through 2018. $3300 or BEST OFFER This boat was my dream project for me and my wife to cruise Health Issues are forcing me to sell the project to someone who can finish it I have everything to finish the boat and want to sell it as a kit ready to be completed The boat is a 1985 21' Bayliner with a hard top and cuddy cabin. The power is a Volvo Penta 125hp engine The trailer is a Float On Tandem with lowboy tires I've assembled all the parts. The main work is to install new wood on the transom and fiberglass into place and reinstall the engine and outdrive. The transom has had all the old wood removed and is ready for glassing. I will include the marine grade plywood and all the fiberglass and resin and the tools and mixing buckets to finish this. The materials cost me over $350 and they are brand new in their original packaging. The package includes a Furuno Color Radar and radome . A Furuno Color Depth Recorder has a brand new transducer. I have the install and the owners manuals for both. The main convertible seat has been professional reupholstered and never been sat on The engine has hydraulic tilt and trim and the boat has hydraulic trim tabs. The transom engine mount is brand new. The exhaust bellows are brank new. The outdrive was professionally rebuilt and has new upper gears and drive yokes The prop was rebuilt and is like new I have the repair manual for the engine and outdrive The trailer has 5 new tires, new bearings and buddy grease caps The transom has a swim platform. I purchased this boat last year from original owner who sold it only because boat was partially submerged in fresh water lake due to service mistake last summer. Air conditioner hose was lose and boat got water in engine compartment. It was removed from water, water was drained from all systems, engines were flushed and boat was stored inside all last summer. It was winterized in October last year and has not being in water since. Boat has some minor fiberglass damage where cleat was located on port side, it got broken when boat was removed from water (can be seeing on pictures), otherwise hull is in good shape. Boat is fully loaded, has twin Mercruiser 5.7 250 hp engines, Bravo two outdrives, Kohler generator 5 kWt, hot & cold fresh water system, large head with shower cabin, home-style kitchen and can sleep up to 6 people. Flybridge is huge and can sit up to 8 people. I'm attaching all the images I have. Trailer is a triple axle custom made heavy duty trailer. Boat is located in Dubuque, Iowa. If you recognize storage please do not show up there without appointment, you will not be allowed to see it unless I authorize it. Purchased this boat to bring it to Toronto, Canada and wanted to use it as a summer house at Toronto's Harbour Marina, but could not arrange transportation to Canada and boat was stored in marina for a year now. The boat is located in Lansdale, PA. I am selling my 1986 18' Bayliner Capri Cobra Bowrider. It has a Force 125 horsepower 2 stroke 4 cylinder outboard motor and it comes with the trailer, which has new tires and rims. The piston in cylinder #2 needs to be replaced, but I have included all of the parts needed. I purchased all needed repair and maintenance items with the intention of swapping the piston and giving the engine a good once over, but I just simply don't have time fix it and and get it back on the water. The boat itself is in good working condition with the exception of the motor. It is worth mentioning that I changed the powerhead after the piston ring in cylinder two came apart. After "breaking in" the new powerhead the exact same issue happened again to the piston in cylinder #2. Both times the piston ring broke on cylinder #2 the motor was at about 95% throttle. After it happened the first time I changed the powerhead out but I did not rebuild the carbs. When it happened the second time I realized I should have rebuilt the carbs because it seems like cylinder 2 had experienced a lean condition. I'm not sure how much gas is left in the tank but it is a few years old and would have to be pumped out and taken somewhere for disposal. All and all it will be a pretty fun little weekend project and I really wish I had the time to spend on it! The boat is very fast and I had it up to about 60 mph before the cylinder issue. It can be used to pull a water skier or a water tube... there is a tripod that attaches to the back of the boat. A depth gauge is installed as well. I have the title for both the boat and the trailer. The Yamaha outboard has only 5 hrs on it, and has been in garage 10 years. I'm the original owner. The Bayliner needs tlc, but its seaworthy with no through hulls. I'm moving and can't take it with me. Thats why I'm letting it go for so cheap. This would be a great father and son winter project . I need to have it picked up by Chistmas eve.
