2003 Bayliner Cierra 2855,Awesome Deal- Compare this to comps on the market. Check out the details! 2nd owner boat. The first owners- older couple from FL- here's their description when we bought it in 2013- "better than excellent condition with Magic Trail tri-axel aluminum trailer. 2003 model with extremely low hours. Has been covered and only used 5- 8 times per year, mostly in fresh water". They truly never kept it in the water. They always had it on the trailer. They sold it because it got to be too much for them to put it in and out of the water. Speaking of the trailer- New in 2016- all tires, carpet rail, brakes and bearings- practically new. Trailer is included in the price. We bought the boat in the fall of 2013. We've had a lot of great times with it. Bottom painted it when we bought it. It's been stored in the water (FRESH- Lake Norman) from April 1- Nov 30 since. It's winterized and dry stored (fully wrapped) in the winters. Why we're selling- We are now Empty Nesters! We want a smaller boat we can trailer to the mountains. This boat's too big for that. I could go on and on. This boat is available for sale for the month of November, 2016. This was bought in Huntsville, AL from an Insurance company. The power went off at dock and the pumps stopped working as the boat took on water at the dock. This sank at dock. There is no damage to the hull and it is all good. By law it was recovered immediately. There is a chip out of one blade on one of the 2 props. The engine had water but since has been removed. The motor turns by hand. We know nothing about the engine as we do not want to damage it further by starting it. The interior has been cleaned a bit. This needs to be gone over and checked out. Repair the engine and needs a starter. The engine is the same as a 2000 GMC suburban 7.4 gas engine 454HP. Parts are easy to find. We tell it like it is and our feedback speaks for itself. There will be an extra $200 fee added to the winning bid of this auction for a dealer service fee. I know you are going to ask me if the motor runs. We did not check the motor because the starter did not work. We simply turned it by hand to make sure it was loose. We do not guarantee anything about the engine and this is as is. We figure worse case a rebuilt is $1000 and the best case is it runs fine. Engines only break if there are running when it takes on water. When it simply takes on water it needs the water cleaned and is good to go. We think they emptied the water out of this. Folks keep in mind the 3 axle (with brakes) trailer sells in a day for $4000. So the boat is only $9,850. Most of these boats do not come with the trailer and the sell for $29,500-35K used. Save $20,000 on this.
