This Custom Shrimp 82 IQF boat is currently in operation shrimping the Gulf of Mexico. It operates under a current USCG Document and Fishery Endorsement. The sellers have owned the boat for about 20 years and are preparing to retire. The engine and generator hours are unknown. Many updates to the boat include the bridge computer system and monitors, the aluminum drag boards, and central air conditioning. Add the boat to your fleet or start a new venture. This 82' steel Shrimp Boat is currently in use as a commercial shrimper under its USCG Fishery endorsement. The sellers have owned and managed the boat for about 20 years shrimping the Gulf of Mexico. The boat produces $160,000 in annual revenue for the owners. The working deck of this boat is 27' from the stern to the winches. The aftmost deck is 21' wide by 18' to the containment deck. The decks are steel, the containment barrier is stainless steel, and the gunwale rails are stainless steel. The boat's USCG NRT is rated for 56 tons. On the business end of the ship, the brine box is 8' x 4' x 3.5'. Below the brine box is the hatch to the IQF freezing unit which holds an estimated 40,000 lbs of catch. Net and outrigger operations are managed by the PTO-driven McElroy double winch and the electric trynet winch. The owner recently added four custom aluminum drag boards, see photos. The pilothouse incorporates a 15' x 12' galley with U-shaped seating for the whole crew. There is a stove, refrigerator, freezer, sinks, and microwave that are installed and in use. Behind the galley are two separate bunkrooms with 4 total bunks and a head with a shower between them. The bridge looks over an open foredeck with access to the forward bollard, freshwater fill, and anchor. On the bridge are Furuno radar, VHF communications, a hailing unit, and an autopilot. The certified 6-person liferaft is on the pilothouse roof. The ship is powered by a Caterpillar 3408 diesel engine which also powers the PTO-driven McElroy winches. Available fuel is 10,000 gallons. The boat itself is a 1974 14 foot oil painted backwater flat-bottom powered by a 2013 DF2.5 Suzuki 4 Cycle/Stroke 2.5 horse with integrated fuel tank and only 20 hours of use paired up with a 30-lb thrust Minn-Kota trolling motor. As with everything on and in this boat, the following features are in excellent condition and high in quality: Collapsible Bimini Top with heavy duty screen material; Lots of Brass and Stainless hardware; Carpeted and removable floor thru-out; Two removable and hinged upper deck sections; manual anchor winch system; front glove-box/casting platform; New marine battery; 4 rod holders; Brass drain plug. The 1984 heavy-duty trailer has brand-new heavy duty tires; New spare rim with new tire; Freshly packed bearings; New LED light kit including rear and side marker LED lights and all new wiring from the plug on back; New 1200-lb winch; requires 1 7/8 inch ball-hitch. This is a clean great running 1972 17' Century ski boat. It has an older restoration but in good condition. It has a 340ci Chrysler Marine V-8 that runs great and has just been serviced and tuned. It has a bimini top, new steering system, new battery and all new switches. Everything except the speedometer works. The floors are solid and the interior vinyl and seats still look good. The hull is solid but does need to be cleaned and waxed. It has a short custom windshield. It comes with a nice custom trailer that does need to be painted. The trailer has all new lighting, bearing buddies, a new tongue jack and new winch with strap. The boat was in the lake about 2 months ago and was just winterized. It also comes with a new cover. It is lake ready, once it is summarized. The boat has current registration and a clear Texas title, in my name. The trailer has current registration and will be sold with a bill of sale.
