1979 Sea Ray Weekender This 30 ft 1979 SeaRay 300 Weekender with two new 454 Mercruisers and a custom Arrigoni radar arch is for sale in Clinton CT. The 300 Weekender is part sport boat and part family cruiser which sleeps four below and in a pinch 2 more on deck in the convertible helm and companion seats. This is a classic example of a hybrid boat that is terrific for cruising the beaches on a fine day, or as SeaRay calls it, a weekender. SeaRay built their name for quality and functionality in the 70’s and 80’s and this 300 Weekender is a prime example of how and why the SeaRay name became associated with quality and value. One of the more popular designs, this boat was part of the evolution from the clunky square cabin cruisers to the sleek sport boats we see today. The engines are forward under the deck giving an extremely large and functional single level cockpit straight through to the companionway.
