Closed bow 14' Voyager aluminum boat, galvanized Sprint trailer with carpeted bunks and spare wheel/tire, 15 HP Honda 4-Stroke (electric or pullstart), depth/fish finder, manual down rigger with 250' of steel cable, electric troller, tiller extension handle, bimini top, anchor, life jackets, and remote steering capable. This boat is a very appealing battleship gray. It has two bench seats and a new transom. It has high sides and a splash basin in the back. Currently set up for tiller control but cable steering is present and I have new cable that hasn't been run yet. The starter and wiring are present but I don't have a remote ignition box for it. This boat trailers very nicely with working lights on the galvanized trailer (it requires a 1 7/8" ball and uses a flat four plug). It's a very light tow. New WA state tabs through June 2015 on the boat and the trailer has current tabs too. I have titles for both the boat and the trailer. This boat is great as-is but there are a few little things to set up which are easy. I have a manual down rigger which I haven't installed yet as well as a nice bimini top and hardware. The depth/fish finder hasn't been installed yet either. This boat would be perfect in the sound or in lakes. The is a 1987 model that runs well, is in great shape, and has low hours. It was used mostly in a British Columbia lake and just sparingly. Please check my other listings where I sell outboards, parts, and other guy stuff. Will not ship this item. Local pick-up only. I am located between Seattle and Portland just minutes off of I-5. Please email with questions and then we can discuss anything you want over the phone. Immediate payment of $500 at time of sale and the rest upon your inspection. Listing elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the listing early.

Up for sale is a 21.5' 1988 Four Winns Sundowner 215 powered with a Chevy V8, 5.0L engine. Overall for the year the boat is in good condition. I've owned the boat for the last 4 years or so. This is my first boat and I absolutely cherished it. It has an OMC Cobra 5.0 outdrive with probably less than 20 hours on it which was purchased new from Crowley Marine ($3800 for the drive alone). Since replacing it I've regularly checked and maintained the drive, using only OMC synthetic gear oil. It also has a brand new prop (14.5 X 19) along with 2 spare props. Additionally, I replaced the drive belts, alternator, starter solenoid, ignition coil, plugs, horn, and the bow/stern lights. It comes with two newer batteries. The oil pressure, voltage, temperature and gas gauge all work although I do question the complete accuracy of the gas gauge. The trim/tilt gauge doesn't work but it's not something I really ever had a need for. It also has a good working CB radio, an AM/FM/CD player, a Garmin GPS/Fishfinder, built in cooler, bumpers, ropes, life vests, tow line and tube. It has a cockpit canvas cover that has a lot of wear. It can be used but I wouldn't recommend as my primary. I also have a complete camper top that came with it. The pop up bimini cover is in really good condition. The interior is all original from what I know. There are no major tears in any of the seat cushions - there is a small cut on one side panel that can be sealed off very easily. The carpet is worn but nothing that's so bad I thought to replace. I also re-wrapped the cushions in the cabin and have a porta potty that fits under the removable cushions. All of the teak throughout the cabin and swim platform is in really good condition - I usually give it a really light sand or scrub and apply some teak oil and it shines up nicely. The EZ load trailer is a 1987. It gets the job done but could definitely use some maintenance. The brake lines are not connected and I would recommend having the U bolts on the leaf springs checked if you plan on towing on long trips. The things I would note on the boat that I know of are as follows: there is a slight cut in the line that feeds the trim tilt fluid to the outdrive. I never replaced the line because I found that some good tape at the beginning of the season and a fluid top off here and there was enough to get by for a season. The trim tilt works fine otherwise but something you'll want to monitor or replace if you choose. While this is definitely an older boat, for someone looking for their first boat or a mid-sized boat to drive around the river, lake or even the LI sound, you really can't go wrong with this boat. It's a solid boat with a deep v-hull that gets through chop easily. We've had 6 people on the boat many times and have driven from Portland to Essex with ease. It easily cruises at 3000-3500 RPMs and does about 30-35 knots. Boat and trailer are both registered and trailer title is in hand. For those wondering about towing, I'd estimate it to weigh approximately 4000 lbs. If necessary, I can deliver within reason (20-30 miles). Up for sale is a 1988 Four Winns Sundowner 215 powered with a Chevy V8, 5.0L. Overall for the year the boat is in good condition. I will do my absolute best to detail out the good and the bad so that you, as a buyer, know exactly what you are getting. I've owned the boat for the last 4 years or so. This is my first boat and I absolutely cherished it. I learned maintenance is key the hard way, specifically on the outdrive. I failed to check the upper gear case on my first drive of my second season with the boat. Needless to say it was out of gear oil and I ended up replacing the entire drive (easily $5,000 in parts and labor). So the boat now has an OMC Cobra 5.0 outdrive with probably less than 20 hours on it. Since replacing it I've regularly checked and maintained the drive, using only OMC synthetic gear oil for complete lube changes. It also has a brand new prop (14.5 X 19) along with spare props. Additionally, I replaced the drive belts, alternator, starter solenoid, ignition coil, plugs, oil filter, regular oil changes, horn, 2 newer batteries and the bow/stern lights. The oil pressure, voltage, temperature and gas gauge all work although I do question the complete accuracy of the gas gauge. The trim/tilt gauge doesn't work but it's not something I really ever had a need for. It also has a good working CB radio, an AM/FM/CD player, a Garmin GPS/Fishfinder, bumpers, ropes and lifejackets. It has a cockpit canvas cover that has a lot of wear. It can be used but I wouldn't recommend as my primary. I typically throw a complete boat cover on top of it. It has two bows' that set in place to give the cover an arch to deflect rain/snow. I also have a complete camper top that came with it. When I first looked at the boat, the guy I bought it from had this camper top on the boat and it looked really good. I've never installed it myself since owning it but I assume it's all there and still fully functional. The pop up bimini cover is in really good condition. The interior is all original. There are no major tears in any of the seat cushions - there is a small cut on one side panel that can be sealed off very easily. The carpet is worn but nothing that's so bad I thought to replace (I'd also note that there are no soft spots in the floor -- oftentimes with older boats the subfloor will start to give out and that's not the case here). I also rewrapped the cushions in the cabin. The EZ load trailer is a 1987. It gets the job done but could use some maintenance. The things I would call out that I know of that require some attention are as follows: there is a slash in the line that feeds the trim tilt fluid to the outdrive. I never replaced the line because I found that some good tape at the beginning of the season and a fluid top off here and there was enough to get by for a season. The trim tilt works fine otherwise but something you'll want to monitor or replace if you choose. I also think there's likely a small engine oil leak. After multiple outings I'll notice the water in my bilge is a bit murky and will flush it out. It's not something I often worry about but do keep a close eye on the oil levels and just top off as needed. While this is definitely an older boat, for someone looking for their first boat or a mid-sized boat to drive around the river, lake or even the LI sound, you really can't go wrong with this boat. It's a solid boat that gets through chop easily. We've had 6 people on the boat many times and have driven from Portland to Essex with ease. It easily cruises at 3000-3500 RPMs and does about 30-35 knots. I will try to post better exterior shots once some boats clear around me. Feel free to write with questions. Thanks

You are welcome to schedule a showing of the boat and test drive.See the complete article at boats.com on this incredible boat... It begins with a hand-laminated hull and Formula’s grid stringer system, which accomplishes a couple of things. First, it provides a solid skeleton for the hull. Second, due to the way it’s designed and built, the grid system also provides a positive-molded gelcoat surface in the bilge, which makes for a much neater appearance and easy cleanup. What’s more, all the cavities in the grid system are filled with foam for extra flotation and sound deadening. The grid system is bonded to the inside of the hull with Plexus adhesive, which is so strong, dynamite is about what it takes to remove it. Formula also bonds the hull and deck with Plexus before it tops the seam with a stainless rub rail. Look closely at the screws on a Formula’s rub rail. All the slots on the Phillips screws are indexed perfectly in a north-south, east-west orientation. All of them. On every boat. Up top, the 260 Bowrider’s deck and cockpit liner are one piece, which also makes for more solid construction. In the bow, Formula provides filler cushions as a standard feature. They not only fill in the gap between the cushions, but they also fill in the angled back rests between the bow walk-through. It’s a fantastic setup that allows three-wide lounging up front. Behind the windshield, Formula designer John Adams created a space that’s welcoming and usable. To port, the lounge can be used as an aft-facing chaise or a bench seat for two. The back rest and portside dashboard conceal a spacious head. The wetbar includes a sink, Corian countertops, a concealed trash bin and a 17.5-quart Igloo cooler. Just behind the lounge lies the wetbar, which includes a sink, Corian countertops, a concealed trash bin and a 17.5-quart Igloo cooler. For added convenience and safety, the wetbar is fitted with a stainless grab rail and its hatches are supported with gas struts. To starboard, the 260 has a U-shape lounge that wraps from behind the helm seat to the stern bench. A standard removable dinette table can be set at two heights, one for dining and a second, lower setting that provides a base for another filler cushion. Of course, the helm is the place to be and the 260 has room for two, with a separate flip-up thigh bolster at each position. Like all Formulas, the helm is laid out intelligently—and more important—simply, which makes checking the vitals that much easier. Buyers can choose between silver burl or woodgrain dash panels. A standard Ritchie compass tops the dash, which features Livorsi instrumentation, a Kenwood audio system and waterproof accessory switches protected by circuit breakers. Some other thoughtful touches include a motorized engine hatch, white LED courtesy lights for the cockpit and swim platform and polished cupholders throughout the interior. Such features typically aren’t found in entry level boats, but they are the kind of niceties that longtime boaters can appreciate. The 260 Bowrider could never pass for an entry level boat, but when people get into boating, models like the 260 are quite likely the end they have in mind—when they want to show they have arrived.
