SALES TAX Diamond Marine collects Connecticut sales tax from Connecticut residents. For non-residents of the United States the cost is $20 but must be obtained at the local Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle office ( approx. 10 miles away) during their hours of operation. Terms:PAYMENT TERMS A winning bidder is required to contact us and give a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the closing of auction to secure the item. Buyer agrees to pay balance due ( plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of auction unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
