Priced to sell!! Great boat with a new survey this spring. Survey lists boat as above average conditions with a current retail value range of $14,00-18,500. Many mechanical and cosmetic improvements/updates over the last several years including a new roller furler jib sail this spring. Includes steel cradle. 1970 Cal 2-30 LOA 30' 2" Beam 9' Draft 5' 30 HP Atomic 4 The boat is priced to sell fast and includes everything you need to go sailing plus lots of extras. It’s currently in the water at beautiful Anchor Pointe Marina in Curtice, OH. The slip is available to the buyer for the rest of the season. We own the slip free and clear but obviously won’t need it anymore, so if you want the slip for next year, we will sign over ownership to you for free—you just have to pay the yearly association fee (due in February) plus about $27 per year in property taxes. Last year our cost for everything for the entire year was about $1135. That included the association fee/dock, power and water, launch and haulout, bottom wash, winter storage, summer cradle storage, and all taxes.......that’s less than most marinas charge for just the summer dock!!!! Anchor Pointe has a swimming pool, showers and flush toilets, laundry facility, gas dock with pumpout, and there are clean port-a-johns on every finger for those who don’t want to walk to the flush toilets. Plus it just has a bunch of really nice people. The Boat: 1970 Cal 2-30 (30' sailboat) The Cal was built when fiberglass sailboats were a new idea and no one knew exactly how thick the fiberglass needed to be. This boat was built to last. The hull is solid hand laid fiberglass up to 1 ½" thick. The keel is encapsulated in fiberglass with no keel bolts to worry about. HOBO is all fixed up and ready for her next adventure. The boat includes: Description of Equipment: 3 Type III PFD’s, 1 Type IV LifeSling 2 Type IV Square cushion throwables SOS flag SOS blinking flashlight 2 BC:1 hand held fire extinguishers Hand held refillable air horn and pump First aid kit Danforth S920 anchor with ~10' of chain and ~150' of ½" nylon line Anchor “ball” Manual Bilge pump 12 Volt bilge pump Oil and Waste Discharge stickers Oil absorbent cloths Uniden Atlantis 250 VHF Radio Apelco 260 fishfinder/depthsounder Garmin GPSMAP 76C (Color GPS) Paper chart of Lake Erie Chart No. 1 Swim ladder Deck broom Grabber tool Boat hook 4 dock lines 3 fenders Wheel steering with spare tiller Winch handles Winch covers Main, Genoa, Jib, and sail bags Shore power cord Microwave Bug screens Air conditioner with hood Clip fan 2 110V lights 6 12V lights (built in) Fitted v-berth mattress pad V-berth sheet set with fitted bottom sheet 4 couch pillows Newly painted steel cradle Engine oil, Fogging oil, Marvel Mystery oil Spare transmission cover gasket Left over bilge and deck paint Multimeter, safety glasses Non-glass inspection mirror Equipment manuals Boat and engine information folders Wood mast supports for mast-down winter storage Two fitted tarps with tie down lines for mast-up winter storage (tarps are worn---for use as templates---quick & easy to install, tight fit, lasts several winters) Misc parts and things I forgot to list. Solid and pretty 1976 Cal 2-29 with great running and easy starting diesel inboard. Boat is solid, with needs for repairs that a handyman type would love to do (mainsail halyard needs replaced, should be pulled this winter to clean bottom and give her a new coat of paint, the port in the head needs replacing, some interior woodwork needs replacing, cushions could be recovered.) We were very excited about cleaning her up and sailing but we have recently moved and can no longer own a sailboat. This is a great opportunity to get a boat that, with a little bit of effort, would be a gorgeous day tripper, weekender, or could be easily be made ready for extended trips. Boat is very dry, does not have that wet smell that you so often find with boats of this age. Engine starts easily and runs strong. The boat is very dry. Includes Mainsail, Jib, Genoa, and storm job. New batteries (2014), new VHF Radio. Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions.Clear title. Great boat. Would consider delivery for $4 per mile.

1976 Cal/Jensen CAL 34 MK-III This is a better sailing Cal 34 than the last one I listed!  With good sails and even a mast Strong-Track for the main sail, a clean bottom and a max prop, this is one of the best Cal 34s available out-there. She's thoughtfully well-equipped with every thing you need, for PNW cruising, and ready to go.  In production for 21 years, the Cal 34 was the the most popular of all the Cal models.  Cal 34's are know for their large well designed v-berth, larger than on some 40' boats.  The 34 III is the culmination of design feedback from thousands of customers resulting in an intelligent well thought out design. These are practical utilitarian boats designed to sail well, not be a condo at the marina. Featuring a strong hand laid-up fiberglass hull, they are so well balanced, that they practically sail themselves.  With a history of ocean crossings and competitive racing, Cal 34's rarely come to market.  This Cal 34-III has been loved for the last 14 years, upgraded and well cared for by experienced owners.  Owners are moving, price has dropped, so come make an offer soon!

Up for your consideration is this 1974 Bill Lapworth-designed Cal-Jensen Pilothouse Sloop with 35 foot hull. William C. “Bill” Lapworth is world-renowned and believed by some to be the foremost West Coast Naval Architect of the post-World War II era, and Jensen employed Lapworth to design several highly celebrated yachts. This particular hull is in the process of a complete re-fit, most of the work on the hull has been completed, and is basically a “blank slate”, waiting for you to finish to your own specifications! What you get is a custom cradle holding a Cal-Jensen Pilot House Sloop Hull, 35 foot length, 11 foot beam, OVER 6 feet of interior standing room(must see to appreciate the roominess). The keel is encapsulated in thick fiberglass rather than bolted on, so it cannot just fall off. The interior has been removed down to the hull, most thru-hulls closed, and all portlight openings closed. Side deck core material has been replaced with fiberglass; interior wood core material covered with fiberglass; interior angles have been reinforced with fiberglass; and complete “shoebox” deck-to-hull joint reinforced with fiberglass. The entire interior has been sanded and gel coated down into the bilge, made ready for you to finish out how you see fit. As far as the hull, any blisters have been painstakingly sanded out, filled, hull faired, and coated with 2 coats of barrier coat 1000 epoxy, 3 coats of Interlux 2000 barrier coat, 1 coat of Interlux “Blue” bottom paint and 2 coats of Interlux Ultra “Red” bottom paint, so when you see blue, you’ll know it’s time to repaint. Comes with an approximately 45 foot aluminum mast with boom & whisker pole, which is shown on the foredeck. Also included is a reconditioned spade rudder with steering wheel, NEW twin long-range custom aluminum fuel tanks(that fit neatly under the main saloon deck), with baffles and sending units; added bow rails with extended teak-decked bow pulpit w/ double anchor rollers; AND added aft rails with dinghy davits and walk-through to swim platform. All projects have been professionally completed & owner has in excess of $100,000.00 invested. Owner is a former Coast Guardsman with Bering Sea experience, selling due to a recent extended hospitalization. His dream was a roomy, safe, strong, seaworthy vessel(capable of sailing around the world if so desired) with a fast, sea-kindly bottom, and this sloop was his choice. The modified full keel allows very responsive maneuvers at shallower depths and draws only 4.67 feet (Shoal draft). Spade rudder provides quick responsiveness- vessel can swing 360 degrees in little more than its own length!(which is helpful in a marina). The sharp bow pierces waves, then rises to a high rounded nose that smashes waves as it comes down, giving a powerful and exhilarating ride. This ship was built to withstand the rigors of the open ocean; it has sailed intercontinentally before, and it can do it again. So, in closing, my loss is your gain; I am offering my dream to you for a fraction of what I have invested in it. Please email with any questions. Ship is located in Kemah, Texas. I am on vacation but will be able to answer any questions and handle the sale.

The newer boats have much thinner fiberglass, than these classic models. This is a solid boat, ready to sail for years and years.I recently bought this boat (life-long dream to learn to sail).Sadly, a few days ago, I lost my largest client Unexpectedly and now have to liquidate most of my toys and reduce monthly expenditures (dock fees etc) as I just took a huge pay-cut. (selling my plane too :(So, I am selling for less than I paid only 5-6 weeks ago for a quick sale (and I got a good deal for the condition). So you are getting a great deal.I wish I could keep her. I have slept on it almost every weekend, and taken her out many times in last 6 weeks. She is a beauty.I bought a new Family-size Magma gas grill on stern of boat (with electronic start, it is best grill I have every used...paid 395 for it). I also spent 185 on doc Step, and some other minor goodies for it.I fell in love with this boat the moment I saw it. I love the design better than the other models out there, and it was built to last and last. $10900
