Power is provided by a MerCruiser 7.4L carburetor engine 300HP with a MerCruiser Bravo Three outdrive. The amenities include sleeping accommodations for four, two in a forward v-berth and two in an aft berth; a well-equipped, spacious galley with stove, no-refrigerator, lots of storage, and a microwave; plus a private head with 6'2" standing headroom complete with marine toilet, sink, and hand-held shower. This Carver 250 express cruiser also features a port table air-conditioning system to take the edge off those warm days and nights on the water. A 25-gallon freshwater system and a 20-gallon holding tank ensure plenty of time spent away from the dock without worry. The U-shaped, wrap-around cockpit seating folds down for storage and converts to a comfortable sun lounge. There is an acrylic transom door and sliding hatch that provides weather protection and security for the cabin with a large Bimini Top. A stylish control console features full instrumentation, a tilt steering wheel, and convenient throttle and transmission controls.
