The boat seems to be a solid cruiser with no soft spots noticed on deck. The interior is in good condition, with good carpet throughout. The exterior could use some cleaning, as most boats do during the northwest winter months. The upholstery looks to be in serviceable condition, having been protected well by the mooring cover and Bimini There is a broken fiberglass panel on the rail-surround, aft deck starboard side (see pictures). This Carver aft Cabin 28 has just under 1000 hours on the twin Crusader 350 engines and Velvet Drive transmissions. This is a perfect mini yacht with a unique layout that includes two helms, a salon inside the deck, a private aft aft-cabin stateroom below, a fully equipped galley, and forward v-berth that doubles as a dinette. There is also a full wet head with shower and VacuFlush toilet. The stateroom also features a vanity with a sink. This compact mini-yacht features a galley with better than expected storage along, an updated stainless steel 2-burner cook-top with an automatic propane shut-off system, a stainless steel sink, an under-counter AC/DC refrigerator-freezer and a microwave. You can easily sleep 5 with the v-berth on top of the double and single berths in the stateroom. Other features include a never installed in-the-box Raymarine VHF radio and similar in-the box VHF antenna. There is also a ProSine 2.0 Inverter and charger. The aft deck is plenty large enough for dining, and there is a rail-mounted BBQ with locker on the swim step. The flybridge has plenty of of seating and a canvas Bimini top, so you can expect plenty of company up top on the sunny days. There is also a mooring cover for the flybridge area. Sleeps 6-2 double beds and 2 bunk beds, dual controls, swim platform with ladder, all original reference manuals, hot water tank, complete galley, older electronics, dual Danforth Corsair compasses, stereo, VHF Marine Radio, remote control spot light, marine air horn, fish finder, bow pulpit, trim tabs, dual gas tanks, anti-fouling painted, tabs for 2013, but stored last winter, and was professionally winterized, and has shrink wrap sealed from last year and is sitting in dry dock, needs some TLC to get back in the water, needs some interior fiberglass repair, great project, but we have no time to fix. Selling my 1982 Caver Yacht 28' with a 10' beam, Hard top with Flybridge - Santa Cruz-Great fishing boat- 2 inboard 305 chevy engines that run great, Radar, GPS,Sleeps 4 Comfortable, working refridgerator, generator, bathroom and shower, used all season in 2014 with no problems,it is currently dry docked in City Island NY until April 30 2015(Paid by me). Boat can not be moved until the Marina starts to put the boats in the water. I am the second owner, bought and shipped from michigan in 2014. The only thing that needs to be fixed is one of the props needs to be balanced, cost about $150.One of the plastic windows in the flybridge enclosure needs to be replaced. Due to the snow the wind deflector around the flybridge is cracked. I am selling due to declining health, I have had several heart attacks recently and can no longer travel to my boat. $500. deposit due within 24 hrs thru paypal. Balance due within 2 days in cash.
