Nice overall condition for the model year. The cabin has no odors. The upholstery shows well. There are some scuffs on the exterior, but nothing to raise a concern. The owner says she sails extremely well and has won quite a few races as the tall rig design and adjustable backstay really let it to get dialed in, depending on wind conditions. The owner is moving, so needs it sold ASAP...call today! Stock #360284 ***SALE PENDING*** Tall Rig design. Multiple race winner! Autopilot, GPS, VHF, galley and onboard head. This rare tall rig is fun to sail and offers full-time living capabilities. A very spacious cockpit allows comfortable seating for the crew. Lifelines surround the entire deck. The backstay is adjustable for better handling. There are two rear transom seats for an awesome vantage point while sailing. Roller furling headsail, easy-to-raise main, and a spinnaker is also included. The wide companionway gives access to the main salon. There is a navigation station to starboard. VHF radio and a Garmin color GPS are included with the sale. A roomy aft berth is a nice upgrade from a standard quarter berth most boats this size have. The galley has a dual basin sink, ice box and storage. Not currently installed--but included with the sale is a gimballed stove / oven. A large lounger is to starboard and a wraparound dinette table converts to another sleeping space. Moving forward, the head is to port and has a separate sink. Across from it is a wardrobe. The forward cabin has V-berth cushions and a nice size hatch to allow for great airflow. Reason for selling is moving away from the water.

The Hunter 23 is a twenty three-foot sloop, which weighs about 2450 lbs empty. Total trailering weight is around 4500 lbs., which allows many SUV's to pull it. It has an eight-foot beam and a mast height of about thirty-three feet. The boat has a fixed wing keel which draws about 2' 3". This particular boat has the wing keel which is ideal for the shallow lakes, as well as making for an easy to trailer boat. I preferred this boat to similar boats such as the Catalina and O'day because of the extensive use of teak in the cabin. The joinery in the cabin creates a very inviting atmosphere instead of the starkness of white gelcoat that is present in most of the small production cruisers. Overall it is in very good condition for a boat of its age. No water damage is noted and the gelcoat is in good shape. I no longer have time to use this boat: Mainsail, Doyle 2 full length battens, 2 partial length battens, with two reef points. Other equipment: 150% Genoa 110 JibAll cushions in cabin in good shape, there is wear on the salon cushions.Danforth anchor and rode.
