The boat is currently in storage for the winter season. I have not personally seen the boat. All information in this listing including all photos was provided by the seller. The seller confirms the boat is in good condition inside and out. The engine was recently serviced, so mechanically the boat is good to go. It needs nothing that the seller is aware of. The 1959 Century Coronado 21 sits on a 1962 steel tandem-axle trailer with step plates and side guides. The seller states that the trailer is in good condition. Stock #157224 1959 Century Coronado 21!! Newly Rebuilt Engine!! Gorgeous mahogany classic -- only 1 of 20 in existence! This 1959 Century Coronado 21 is a true rare classic. Fewer than 20 of the 161 originally built exist. This is your chance to own a piece of boating history. This is what the seller has to say about it: I'm selling my classic mahogany wood, 1959 Century Coronado speedboat, considered " The Cadillac of Boats". She is only ONE of about 20 Coronado's still in existence, of the 161 manufactured in 1959 with the retractable fiberglass hardtop. Richard Arbib was the designer of the revolutionary luxury runabout speedboat. It has a freshly rebuilt 352 cubic inch / 240 HP interceptor engine, which is capable of powering the boat to a top speed of 45 MPH. The original upholstery is still in incredible condition, with No rips or tears. The tandem-axle has newer tires. Clean titles for the Boat and Trailer in hand. 1963 CENTURY GULL WING CORONADO HARDTOP SEDAN CRUISER, VERY RARE ONLY 66 WERE PRODUCED IN THIS IS HULL # 61 MOST OF THESE BOATS WERE SOLD WITHOUT THE HARD TOP GULL WING OPTION BECAUSE OF THE COST. TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE ONLY 23 HAD THIS OPTION .IN CHECKING WITH CENTURY BOAT CLUB OF AMERICA WHICH CAN BE FOUND ON LINE, WHAT I HAVE RESEARCHED IS THERE ARE ONLY 9 KNOWN TO EXIST RESTORED OR IN UNRESTORED CONDITION. THIS WILL MAKE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR SOMEONE TO FINISH AND RESTORE. IT IS UNMOLESTED AND ORIGINAL WITH ALL THE TRIM AND PIECES WITH THE BOAT. Boat was restored by Embree Marine in St Petersburg Fl in 1999 and has the appearance of a vessel restored a year ago. The trailer is a Owens tandem aluminum with new tires put on last year. Full boat cover included. Major upgrades are emron painted hull, aluminum gas tank, Rebuilt heat exchanger cooling engine with less than 500 hours, Synthetic teak and holly forward and aft deck areas, Carburetor rebuilt and new battery installed this year, new upholstery placements made as needed. The boat was used in salt water in the St Pete Fl area until 2004 and then used in fresh water in the Ocala Fl area until present. New headers and exhaust elbows placed in 2008.
