The owner has done an excellent job of restoring and preserving this beauty. Seller has windshields. They are wrapped and cushioned for storage. There are 3 spares for a total of 5; Each side is counted as one. Although some seams needed a little attention, there were no soft spots in the floor and no noticeable crack below the water line. There were a few small spots where the seller touched the finish with something that created a white spot. The seller coated the bottom of this beauty with fiberglass to create a more sustainable bottom of the wooden vessel. Most of the original components have been preserved and are in working order. This vessel has a 1941 water pump and it works! Also included is the original cowling, and the owner has treated it with a product to make it super shiny. It looks great!! The chrome has been redone and shines brightly. The seller has replaced the old steel rusted gas tank with a very durable aluminum gas tank. The owner has fully rewired it and added a fuse box, bilge pump and blower. Bilge blower has been added. All of the gauges work. Horn works, spotlight works and is maneuvered with a knob on the dashboard. Keep covered on trailer in garage when not in use. Thick canvas cover. Replaced gas tank with custom aluminum tank and added fuel water separator / filter. Gauges all work and are original. Replaced copper head gasket when inspecting and cleaning the engine. 1991 Century Resorter We have wanted to fix this up but just don't have time. It's worth $12,000 if it's fixed. It needs new stringers and a new floor. Everything else is good. Freshwater use only. Was just repainted. Engine is a MerCruiser 260 and runs great - only 340 hours. Interior is apart and waiting to be put back in.

This 1964 17 foot Century Resorter mahogany wooden boat has been owned by two families in its 52 years of life. I am the 3rd owner (son of 2nd owner). First 20 years of its life were spent actively on Chain of Lakes in Fox Lake, IL. Second 20 were spent in outdoor storage in southeast Louisiana after which the boat needed some restoration. Luckily I brought the boat to TX in 2005 just 6 months before Katrina roared through SE LA. In doing so, it was spared certain destruction and was able to be fully and professionally restored top to bottom, inside and out, in 2007. 2007 restoration included: Any damaged/rotted wood was replaced. Gauges reworked. Original hours left intact on tachometer. Currently 597, was 579 at restoration. All chrome re-chromed. Stainless polished. New stainless fuel tank. Motor completely rebuilt. All interior vinyl was replaced. Seat foam new. Bow and stern pennant poles restored. New flooring. New step pads. New windshield. Double bottom with marine grade plywood and new mahogany planks with epoxy and 5200 sealer. Custom built RoadRunner trailer (with electric brakes) and break away tongue (for easy garage storage) included. Tires in excellent shape. New brake drums, pads, and bearings in 2016. I am sure I am not remembering everything that was done because basically everything was touched and either reworked, rebuilt, or replaced. Boat floor is covered with easily removable carpet to keep floor cool to the feet. Original center mounted ski pole. All lights and gauges work. Garage kept since restoration. Less than 20 hours of use since restoration. Fresh water use only. Never in salt or brackish water. Modern bimini top (red Sunbrella fabric to match interior) fitted to provide much needed shade in the TX summer sun. Original swim ladder. Foot pedal throttle option. Ford 390 Interceptor with Velvet drive 1:1 transmission. Original Interceptor 352 engine was replaced in 1981 with Interceptor 390 version. In 2007 restoration the 390 was rebuilt and cylinders were bored .060 over so total displacement is now 401 cubic inches. Mallory electronic ignition module in place of points. New Edelbrock marine carb. Barr Marine exhaust manifolds. Boat does 40+ mph easily. Wood and varnish are in excellent condition. The gorgeous red and white color combination interior is in excellent condition. Professional restoration completed by Fleetwood Boats in Austin, TX. This boat needs nothing to enjoy and show! Boat runs and rides great, just like a wood boat should! Used central TX lakes last summer. Clear titles in hand. Boat and trailer registered in TX. Can provide more photos as needed. This Classic has been through a year-long Heirloom Quality Restoration. -Chrysler Marine 340 & Borg Warner Transmission: Stripped of all components & re-finished. The engine decals were duplicated and installed ("Add Oil" and Chrysler Marine decals on the valve cover were replaced). The transmission/engine rotation decals were also replaced. -Complete Tune-Up by a Certified Marine Mechanic: New belts, hoses, impeller, spark plugs, fuel filter, fresh oil change, new points/condenser & timing set. -Electrical: The following are new and were installed during the restoration: dash pull switches, ignition, breaker, bow light, new(old stock) neutral shift indicator light, map light/lighter, new marine battery, and new Auto/Manual bilge pump. -Bright Work: All original hardware has been re-chromed and the stainless rub rails polished by our local plating shop. The factory veneer on the front/rear decks, motor box, and dash was replaced with mahogany and finished with 6 coats of Epifanes. Both the bow and stern mahogany flag poles were refinished with Epifanes and new flags/ensigns installed. -Interior: The floors were glassed in prior to installation of new carpet. A period correct A & A Marine interior was ordered custom for this boat and installed. -The exterior of the boat has been refinished and is of show room quality. -Trailer: The 2006 Bear tandem axle trailer which is shown in the pictures is included with the boat. It is equipped with surge brakes and a removeable tongue. With only 491 Hours on the engine this is a strong running boat. Videos are available of the boat being water tested last fall just after the restoration was complete This boat was meticulously restored by a Craftsman with 20 years experience working on vintage boats so buy with confidence.
