1995 Checkmate 253 Convincor This 1995 Checkmate 253 Convincor has a fuel injected Mercruiser 383 Stroker w/ 175 hours on it and a Bravo 1 w/ a more recent gearing update. Hull has approximately 900 hours of FRESHWATER use, and is currently bottom painted white. New/newer upholstery and stereo, speakers and subwoofer. Nice cockpit cover for use at the dock. Located on Candlewood Lake and currently still in the water. Included in sale is 2004 Sea Lion Aluminim Dual Axle trailer. Great example of an end-of-the-season special. Please contact the owner @ 231-920-7080 or [email removed] Checkmate has been totally redone this year. This boat is almost brand new and ready for summer fun. It is powered by a new 502 supercharged mercrusier motor not rebuilt, New it was built by Tyler Crocket Marine and has steel crank, h-beam rods, JE pistions and rings, hydrolic roller cam and lifters and has 80 hours on the motor. I just replaced the pro-charger intercooler with a much bigger frozen boost intercooler. I sent the pro-charger in last year for up grades and service on the seals. The boat ran 82 on GPS at 5200 RPM and 5 lbs of boost.Last summer I replaced the Alpha drive with a brovo 1x diesle drive that will take the torque this motor has. The drive has maybe 10 hours on it. The trim tabs are insta-trim boat levelers.The interior has been completly updated to match the exterior paint scheme. New carpet and vinyl through out as well as new vinyl on the seats. The exterior has been clear coated top and sides to protect the graphics. The stero is a sony system with ipod hookup and CD player and has JLB speakers and 650 watt amp.The boat comes with a double axle C-Hawk trailer with surge barkes. This boat is very spacious and sleeps a family of four very comfortably.

Style and Performance are the best words to describe this near immaculate 25 foot powerboat cuddy. Freshly rebuilt engine and outdrive done this year, 40hrs of use since. Tons of features and lots of extras include a mild cam, Eddie Marine cold air intake, IMCO high performance exhaust manifolds, Corsa pipes with captain call. Comes with two props: A Mercury three blade 23 pitch and a stainless Mercury Mirage Plus II four blade 24 pitch, both labbed and shaved. Interior is excellent with Manual bolster seats, outdrive trim on steering wheel, dual ram trim tabs, power engine hatch, fire suppression system in engine compartment, large and comfortable cuddy with wrap around couch and hidden toilet. Has dual batteries with control switch and battery charger. Comes with a full cover and cockpit cover, all matching. Trailer is a 2003 Heritage with aluminum wheels and good brakes. The trailer has new tires as well as new wood and carpet on bunks. New fuel pump installed at the end of the 2013 season. Payment will be due via Paypal.
