2003 Cherubini 20 Classic Classic Good Looks in a Modern Package! Cherubini Yachts in partnership with naval architect, Eric W. Sponberg, set out to recreate the look of a "roaring 20's" speedboat in a modern incarnation and succeeded with the Classic 20.  Introduced in 2002, this boat had all the visual appeal of a classic wooden runabout but is made completely out of fiberglass!  Even the wood deck topsides are a cleverly done fabric with a computer generated and died wood pattern encapsulated under a clear coat of glass!!  All the look and feel of a classic without all the maintenance!!  Couple the looks with the ability to run over 40mph and seat 5 in its dual cockpit design and this boat is a true standout.  A jet drive allows this boat to run in the shallowest of waters and is safe with no moving external propeller. Priced correctly, this is about as much "head turning fun" as you can have in a boat of this size range!  A great opportunity to own a timeless day boat or a very elegant tender!

1980 Cherubini Double-Headsail Ketch The S/V Floatingpoint is a 1980 John Cherubini designed and built 44' Double-Headsail Ketch.  Her sweeping sheer, low freeboard and ranked spars recalls the beauty of an era goneby.  She has many options and upgraded items onboard.  Floatingpoint has sailed off shore, done many blue water miles and crossed many oceans.  She can be sailed by two people comfortably, has a proven easy to handle ability and is at home on any sea condition.  Her cockpit, salon, galley and berth areas are nicely appointed with mahogany wood throughout.  She sleeps six comfortably in a forward center-line V-berth with filler, two comfortable settee berths, one pilot berth mid-ship on the starboard side and a just aft of midship quarter  berth on the port side. Floatingpoint can be a family cruiser, a long distance cruiser and a superb racing vessel. She is surprisingly close winded and is able to grab the light air of summer and beat to windward in strong winds. Her Scheel Keel enables her to climb to weather like a deep-keeled vessel, while she maintains all the cruising flexibility of a shoal draft boat. While Cherubini offers many different custom floor plans every finish detail above and below deck was meticulously completed by expert craftsmen. With a draft of only 4' 10" there are no problems getting into any harbor or anchorage.  She is a comfortable, gracious floating home.  Floatingpoint has a custom mahogany interior salon.  As you enter, the Galley is off to the Starboard side, with a center-line sink that has plenty of storage, a quarter berth is off to port side, with the navigational center just forward still to port.  The two facing settees are midship with dining table center-line, a pilot berth is starboard behind the settee.  Continuing forward the head is to starboard with storage drawers and cupboard. To the port side are two hanging lockers, one is in the salon passage and the other is in the master cabin. The V-berth, head, salon design are a Cherubini design, the galley/pantry, quarter berth are custom.

The boats are known worldwide for their high quality build, their light air performance, and for their spectacular beauty. "MAGIC" IS NO EXCEPTION!!  Her Owner is a true Cherubini afficionado and dedicated loyalist to the Cherubini "Magic".  He has been upgrading her for the past couple of years and if you could see her on site you would believe every word of this message.  Powered by a Mercedes Benz (76HP) diesel engine with only 1,648 hours. She has a strong electronic's package which includes Raytheon ST60 Wind Indicator, Raytheon ST60 Tri-Data, Raytheon RL70 Pathfinder/Radar, Simrad AutoPilot, and Danforth Constellation Compass on the Edson Pedestal. "MAGIC" has NEW Marine Blue Awlgrip Hull, NEW Bright Work with gold leaf Cherubini Scroll work, NEW Teak Decks, 2 NEW fuel tanks with dual filter arrangement, NEW water tank; and the Owner is installing  NEW Holding Tank and NEW manual toilet. Original beautiful teak interior sleeps 7 in 6 berths with one head and shower. Sails include a main, genoa, staysail, spinnaker and mizzen. Rod rigging with Lewmar 16 self-tailing winches, prt and starboard. "MAGIC" is ready to go back into the water. She has been stored in an environment controlled shop during all of her upgrades.  All she needs is to have the rigging re-installed; and the Owner has the professional staff to do just that in a matter of a few days.  Once back in the water she will be a real "show-stopper" that will make everyone's head turn!  You cannot believe how beautiful she is -- her new Awlgrip marine blue hull and teak bright work make her shine!   As the lyrics to a popular Jimmy Buffet song go "Bring Back the Magic"; and that is exactly what the Owner has done!  You, too, can enjoy the "Magic"!

1985 Hunter Cherubini, Official Name: Zephyr Official Number: 680953 Of all the boats that John Cherubini designed while at Hunter Marine, the 37' cutter has been the most successful . This Cherubini design is very sturdy and features a sensible & roomy layout below with wide decks for sail handling above. It is well suited for living aboard and/or comfortable cruising. My wife and I have lived aboard for last two years, sailed, and loved it. Very dependable ship! With a private forward stateroom featuring a private head with a separate shower stall, sink and vanity, it is apportioned very well with its roomy V-berth California king sized bed. With the aft private state room and roomy interior the boat can sleep six comfortably . The stationary dinette sits four adults easily, and the table leafs drop effortlessly for more space when not in use. The boat is also equipped with a stock kerosene heater, microwave oven, lp gas fueled convection oven with range and 4-burners, refrigerator and freezer. The 40 gallon fuel tank gives her a motoring range of more than 350 miles via the 44hp Yanmar diesel engine. Everything on the boat works! In the past year weve added a new fresh water pump, new water heater, new refrigerator and freezer, and all new interior LED lighting. Weve also installed a new folding real teak wood table mounted on the pedestal, and a new halyard. The top and bottom of the boat are cleaned monthly, and the zinc anodes are replaced regularly. 1985 Hunter 37C - Serial # HUN37401H485 1985 Yanmar 4JHE 44hp Serial # 00357 engine runs great and the sails are in great condition as well. Comes with a dinghy equipped with a Honda 2hp Outboard Serial # BZBF-2201362, which was serviced recently. $22500

Mary Jane is possibly the nicest completely original Hunter Cherubini 27 you'll ever find. Just about everything has been been gone through, refurbished and impeccably maintained. Previously owned by a Naval engineer, we purchased her in 2013. She'd been sitting on hard in Connecticut for 6 years. We had her trailered to our boat yard in Northport, Long Island and went to work on her. In the Summer of 2014 we took her out for a 2 week "shake down" cruise crossing the Long Island Sound 4 times, to Shelter Island through the Plum Gut (a notorious passage between Plum Island and Orient Point, the northeastern most point of Long Island). She performed beautifully. Cherubini Hunters are prized among serious collectors for their classic lines, speed and agile performance. Noted for Danish Modern style interior cabins the Cherubinis are astutely laid out and extremely comfortable for extended cruising. Mary Jane's original owner installed a custom made teak "traveler" for precise control of the mainsail in any weather condition (a real bonus). This Hunter 27 boasts the original Renault Marine Couach, 8 hp, one cylinder diesel engine, known for its dependability and unique rhythmic sound. I often liken the sound to that of the African Queen. The top deck is painted with Interlux Brightside Seattle Grey epoxy (2014). All the teak hand and rub rails have recently been sanded and varnished with 6 coats of Marine Spar Varnish (2015). Last year the bottom was sanded and painted with 4 coats of Pettit brand Hydrocoat black hull paint (2014). This year we painted another 2 coats of bottom paint, just for good measure (2015). This year we also replaced the Datamarine depth and knot meters with brand new Moor depth and knot meters (2015). A new Ritchie Helm Compass was installed last summer (2014) and all new Black Sunbrella Mainsail, Compass, Steering Wheel and Winch Covers were installed just this month (2015). The following is a list of some of the items we've replaced and installed: Engine - new water pump (2014), new water pump seacock hose (2014), new starter motor (2014), new custom-made fuel lines (2015), new Racor fuel/water seperator (2015), new and extra Mann fuel filters (2015). Electrical - 2 new deep cycle Kirkland batteries (2014), new Cabella "ship to shore" battery charger (2015), new 700 watt power inverter (2014), new in-cabin fresh water pump (2014), new bilge pump (2014), new cabin light bulbs (2014), new illuminated mast-top wind vane (2015), new Moor lighted LED knotmeter (2015), new Moor lighted LED depthfinder (2015) Topside - New "Ritchie" Helm Compass (2014), 100 ft. New Red Jib Halyard (2015), 100 ft. New Black Mainsail Halyard (2015), new white and red traveler sheets (2015), new black Sunbrella fabric mainsail cover (2015), new black Sunbrella steering wheel cover (2015), new black Sunbrella compass cover (2015), 3 new black Sunbrella winch coversBrand New Magma 15" Kettle BBQ (2015). Cabin - (2015) interior cabin floor sanded and sealed with 4 coats Marine Spar Varnish (2015), in-floor bilge hatch cover sanded and sealed with 4 coats Marine Spar Varnish (2015), aluminium bilge hatch trim sanded and polished (2015), bilge interior painted and keel bolts sealed with 3M 5200 sealant (2015), brand new bilge hoses (2015), original "V" Berth cushions, 2 main cabin cushions and aft berth cushions Steam cleaned and Scotchguarded (2015), , all 3 winchs rebuilt and greased (2014), all ceramic porthole knobs replaced (2015), Kenyon alcohol stove rebuilt (2014). Mary Jane comes with lots of extras, too numerous to mention, including dock lines, fenders, life jackets, deck cushions, Windscoop, etc. She's a joy to own and a pleasure to sail. All lines lead to the cockpit for easy single handling. Mary Jane is currently moored in Centerport Bay. The mooring and launch service is fully paid through the season, so if you're ready to go, she's ready for you. Whether you're just learning to sail or downsizing, you'll fall in love with Mary Jane. .
