This Chris Craft steering wheel came out off the interior of a 1948 Super Deluxe Enclosed Cruiser. the wheel has no cracks and very miner wear. The horn piece is also in near perfect it could use chroming to make perfect. The boat had been left in a boat house untouched for to many years. The hull was beyond repair. I bought the boat for parts to finish of my boat of the same year and style. This will fit many models of boats and cars. It is 16" across has a flatter projection. Fits a 3/4" slotted splined/ tapered shaft. I will ship to the Continental US at cost Ups or ?. Price will be fixed before final bill.

1957 Yellow Jacket Fury Deluxe, original Tee Nee trailer with matching 1957 35 horse Gold Javelin. Total restoration on everything. This 16 foot Fury Deluxe is extremely rare......have actually never seen another one of these classic wood boats except in pictures with Roy Rogers who was part owner of this Denison Texas company. Has not been a trailer queen but used frequently at many vintage wood boat wet meets and motor meets....it always gets a lot of attention especially with the highly desirable 1957 Johnson Gold Javelin on the transom. All new top decks, original restored cold molded hull. New old stock original dash plate. All of the original deck hardware. Second place winner at 2013 Keels and Wheels which is also the year of the finished restoration and final 16 coats of Captains varnish. You will see other models of the Yellow Jacket, including the Fury but the Fury Deluxe is extremely rare with the upholstered side panels and rear hatch. According to the son of Mac McDerby (founder of the company) the Fury Deluxe was his Dad's favorite boat and helped introduce him to the first swear word when it quit out on the lake one day. The fun for me was the endless hours in the restoration, now it is time to reluctantly sell and make room for the next project. Asking price is well below the cost of just the materials as even the covering boards and floor boards etc are ALL mahogany. More pix of the progression of the restore available. Also note that some of the pix are without the windshield which it now has. The brass prop is also no longer on the boat as pictured in a few of the photos as the stock white prop is now installed. I made some sort of violation to eBay policy in my first listing so they deleted it. I am sorry to those who were watching it as I try again to do it properly.

A great "Barn Find"! Here is a 1948 16' Chris-Craft Runabout Special "Rocket" that has been stored in a barn since 1996. The Special Runabout was not a runabout at all but a deluxe utility with a wide center deck that created a separate forward cockpit. Called the "Rocket" by Chris-Craft, these boats were nearly identical to the pre-war 16' Deluxe Runabouts which in turn were lengthened versions of the 1938 15-1/2' Deluxe Runabouts. The Rocket was offered varnished or painted, with choices of white, black, red and blue sides. The painted hull allowed Chris-Craft to use more readily available cedar. The boat is powered with a Chris-Craft "K" Serial Number 24768 6 cyl. engine. 1,040 were built from late 1945 through 1948. The trailer and cradle are included in the sale.
