2015 Chris Craft 36 Corsair Just traded. 2015 Corsair 36 Hardtop Heritage edition, 230 hours on twin Volvo D6 Diesels (370 hp) & joystick! This boat is loaded & has been kept under a full cover so it's like new. Some standard features are a cockpit sureshade, sunroof, refrigerator, dual cockpit air conditioners & a cockpit table that raises electronically from the floor. BRIEF SUMMARY Sometimes you don't want to fish, or ski, or wakeboard or do other activities that will cause you to break a sweat while boating. You just want to ride around living the life of Riley. On those days, you could do a lot worse than own a Chris-Craft Corsair 36, a runabout on steroids that's about a sexy and sweet-looking as a boat can be. A raft of people can sit comfortably in the cockpit for dayboating, or a couple can enjoy the boat as a compact cruiser for overnighting or short voyages. It will be one of the coolest-looking boats in any harbor, so if you want to see and be seen, the Corsair 36 could be just the boat for you. THE MISSION There is only one mission for the Corsair 36: To be the most jaw-dropping, stunningly handsome, alluring, flawlessly elegant boat on the water. Her classic beauty signals the taste and nautical refinement of her owner for all to see. CONSTRUCTION The most unusual aspect of her construction is the complexity or her tooling (i.e. molds). Every compound curve, reverse, relief and hull tumble home is made with molds within molds in one of the most complicated and artistic jobs of fiberglass construction in the industry. But it is these curves which make the Corsair what she is. Otherwise construction is basically traditional. A vinylester barrier coat is put on the hull exterior to prevent osmosis in the unlikely event the boat is left in the water for long periods. But this is really a summer boat, not a year-rounder. Her smaller Corsair sisters make excellent tenders for megayacht owners and, indeed, the Corsair 36 could serve the same purpose if the right 300-footer came along. ACCOMODATIONS Thanks to its size, the Corsair 36 can fit a comfortable cabin under its foredeck. There's 6' 2" of headroom and a midships stateroom with a queen-sized berth and a cedar-lined hanging locker. Forward there is a banquette that makes into a V-berth sleeping two. Drop in the dining table and it makes into a double. An adequate galley has a dual-voltage refrigerator, two-burner electric stove and microwave oven. The head compartment has a shower stall with a teak grate and electric toilet with macerator. For a runabout, the Corsair 36 should make a good cruiser, at least for short voyages and long weekends. This boat is in very good running condition. My original intention was to refit all systems and have accumulated all the major parts to do so. Check below to see all items included that will need to be installed. I have had the boat since 2006 (believe I'm the 4th owner) and have taken it on several trips over the years without problem. Had to cancel two trips this year due to family obligations. Reason for selling is my current situation is not conducive to keeping the boat. Overall length is 29'10" including the swim platform with a beam of 10'8". It has a hardtop and large cockpit, yet the cabin is still very spacious for a 28 footer. Original motor was a Marine Power 305, but previous owner repowered with a 350 block in 1992. Hours are unknown due to the hour-meter being faulty and disconnected when I purchased the vessel. I knew the previous owner and felt confident with the boat/engine condition. I have put roughly 60 hours on the engine. Shaft, cutlass bearing, and seal were replaced in 2008. The seal is PSS dripless. Propeller is a Nibral 16x18 new this year. Also have a spare bronze prop. Electronics - Standard Horizon CP300 Chartplotter w/ current chart card, FF550 Fishfinder & ST526 Transducer, Standard Horizon GX 3000 VHF New Equipment NOT installed: Plumbing - Raritan Sea-Era electric head (Mod 160MF012), Sealand 28 gal. holding tank, 6 gal. Manufactured in Florida, this Hell's Bay Boatworks 2005 Cape Sable 21 CENTER CONSOLE, has all the goodies including a $300 custom cover. The trailer is an aluminum tandem axle with 5 like new tires and disc brakes! It has a 95....yes a 95 GALLON powder coated baffled aluminum fuel tank, a 55 gallon in floor livewell complemented by dual 15 Gallon baitwells in the transom. This Cape Sable has an Automatic 1200 GPH bilge pump and a 165 Gallon fish box/locker beneath the foredeck. All this controlled by an Edson chrome wheel with Sea Star hydraulic steering and propelled by a like new 225 HP Mercury outboard with very low hours. This boat is in absolute EXCELLENT CONDITION.
