1970 Chris-Craft Commander,1970 Chris-Craft Commander 31 in excellent condition. The beam is 11' 5" and she draws 28". This is the Sedan model with an enclosed pilot house, which creates a very roomy interior. She has twin, Chris-Craft 327Q marine engines with two 50 gal. fuel tanks. The Q model is fresh water cooled and ideal for both fresh and salt water. The 12 Volt electrical system consists of one deep cycle house battery, two starting batteries, a 1500 watt inverter, and a 20 amp battery charger. The 110 volt system consists of two 30 amp shore-power hook ups, all new wiring and 7 GFI protected 110 volt outlets. The galley is very spacious and includes an electric two burner stove, microwave, dorm-style refrigerator, a stainless steel sink and lots of storage space. The dinette converts into a double bunk. The salon has new carpet and new curtains. The fresh water system consists of a 25 gal. tank, automatic pump, and a 7 gallon hot water heater. The head is huge for a 31 footer and has a Dometic marine toilet w/holding tank, molded sink, a shower w/sump pump, and two entrances. There are two Dometic reverse-cycle marine air-conditioning units which keep the boat very comfortable in both summer and winter; one is in the salon the other in the forward state-room. The V-berth is very large and there is plenty of storage space in two large lockers. Topside there is a teak anchor pulpit with a Simpson-Lawrence Hyspeed windlass and two anchors. The primary anchor is a 22 lbs. Lewmar Claw with 30' of 5/16" chain and 200' of 5/8" rode. The secondary anchor is the original 13lbs. Danforth with approximately 15' of chain and 150' of rode. There is a stainless steel fender rack with four 30 in. fenders w/covers. The bow and stern cleats are new, 12 in. stainless steel, and through bolted w/galvanized steel backing plates. The mast and aft rail are mahogany. The cockpit has a flexi-teak deck, teak swim platform with stainless steel folding ladder. Also Included are custom window coverings, 2 deck chairs, 2 30 amp shore power cables, 6 life jackets, 2 fire extinguishers, vhf radio, a Garmin 540 chart plotter with all east coast maps loaded, and 2 spare propellers (recently reconditioned).
