1997 Cobalt 200, New Price -1997 Cobalt 200, Original owner of a very nice 20 foot open bow with a V-8. The trailer is a Trail-Rite and made for the Cobalt. It has side guide rails and was repainted approximately 5 years ago. The bunks were re-carpeted and the actuator was replaced at that time. I replaced the brakes as well and the tires are new in 2016.There are many items replaced over the years. The shifter-throttle cable was replaced about 4 years ago.The interior sides and motor cover interior were replaced 2 years ago and looks great. The seats are unique to Cobalt and are in excellent shape. I also have a separate pair of new seats that I would sell.The motor was gone thru this spring and has new hoses and bellows as well as fluids. The maintenance and repairs were done locally in Phoenix and the mechanic is available to meet and review the boat.There is a very expensive cover which was made a couple of years ago and the boat has always been covered.I have a decent set of entry level skis and various tow ropes and dock ropes which are included in the sale.The boat is almost flawless and looks great.The total time for the engine is about 250 hours.The out-drive is a MerCruiser and works correctly and has a stainless steel propeller. Additionally, there is a high quality anchor with 200 ft. of rope. I am sure I have missed things but this Cobalt is available for viewing in Scottsdale. For the record, Cobalt is considered the highest quality boat available in this category. It has 14 layers of fiberglass on the hull and the nearest competitor has only seven. For sale is a one of a kind 2003 Cobalt 240 Wake Edition powerboat in Beautiful Black. This extremely rare 240 is in excellent condition in and out and it shows. It is loaded with every available factory option, including all the major upgrades that were available from the factory. This Cobalt also has a couple custom options that you will not see on any other 240 anywhere. Please read the entire description to truly appreciate all this amazing boat has. I have included 45+ pictures. You will have to double scroll to see all the pictures or it will cut off. This Cobalt is a true cross between luxury and performance with seating for a dozen. It was optioned with the top of the line Volvo Penta 496 8.1L engine ($19,050 upgrade) and a Volvo Penta Duo-Prop. (Dual Stainless Steel Propellers). Overall it is 26' long with the extended swim platform. The extended swim platform ($2482 option) is removable for storage. (24' long when removed). This Cobalt has only 169 hours on it and it shows like new throughout. You will not find a cleaner/lower hour 240 anywhere. The interior and exterior are in excellent, like new condition. Rarely will you ever see such an equipped boat with this many factory options. The full list is at the end. We are the second owners of this amazing boat. It has always been stored in an indoor heated facility during the winter months. It has been professionally winterized/summerized each season. It recently had a full service workup and is water ready. This boat has an incredible amount of storage throughout. This 240 performs like no other boat I have ever been in or owned. It navigates choppy waters like Lake Michigan with ease, tracks precisely at any speed and has the power and torque to pull multiple wakeboarders/skiers out of the water effortlessly. It will run to 65 MPH in strong fashion. There is nothing like the sound of a big block motor. This 240 is equipped with a FACTORY COBALT STAINLESS Wakeboard Tower Package, including a Black Sunbrella WakeTower Bimini Top. ($8050 option). It also has an optional dual wakeboard rack in the rear lower compartment and a watersports rear view mirror. ($395 option). This 240 also has the gorgeous Stainless Steel Docking Lights. ($1080 option) What makes this Cobalt 240 so rare and sets it apart from the rest is that it was ordered with all the major upgrade options. There were very few 240’s optioned with the 496 engine upgrade, Factory Stainless Wakeboard Tower Arch, extended swim platform, docking lights, LED lighting, and the list goes on and on. It also has a couple custom add on options. This 240 has a custom made Faux Teak wood padding on the ENTIRE rear of the boat. It is on the walk-through, the upper deck, the wet locker, and the extended swim platform. It was custom made and installed with Cobalt logos designed into both decks. It is stain resistant and soft as cotton. It has an anti-slip surface and grips bare feet/shoes when wet. This is the same decking you will find on brand new high end boats. This was a $1500 add on and was done this past season.. See pictures below. This 240 has a pair of underwater Blue Ocean LED Puck lights below the rear extended swim platform. This makes for an AMAZING glowing pool for ambiance or night swimming, and a fantastic glowing afterburner effect when cruising. ($1000 upgrade). It was added this past season. It also has custom LED swim platform lighting (See Pictures) This 240 was ordered with all the Options for Covers. It has both Bow and Cockpit Snap covers, as well as a full mooring cover. All the covers are in excellent condition. It has a good size head (bathroom) with a light, fan and porta-potty. Other add-on factory options include: Swim Platform LED Lighting, a 10 Gallon Fresh Water Transom Shower, the Wood Trim Dash Package, Air compressor for water toys, Air & Water Temperature gauges, and Depth Sounder. Transom Walk through Stereo Remote, a Transom Tilt Switch and a stainless Flag Pole Holder. It has the optional power Telescoping Anchor light that raises on a switch. It eliminates the need for a manual stick light in the evening. The boat also has a brand new premium audio system that sounds fantastic. 1994 Powerquest 257/260 Legend bowrider. With a 454 Mercruiser Magnum 7.4L 365HP. As good, if not better in quality then a Formula or Cobalt. I do not think there is a cleaner 94 Powerquest 257 then this one. This truly is a barn find, This boat has been sitting in my Barn for years. I bought this boat years ago with No Power, It has been sitting in my nice clean and dry barn, Over the past year, I re powered it with a rebuilt 454 Mercruiser Magnum (365HP) and Bravo XR Performance sterndrive. The boat has approx 300 orig. hours on it, the rebuilt engine and sterndrive have less then a hour. I have over 30 years experience as a boat mechanic, check out how neat the engine install is, (see pictures.) The boat has always been in immaculate condition, the gel coat shines like new, the interior... dash,carpets, seats, structure's and compartments are all in great shape. The boat comes with a Factory, cockpit and bow cover. There is nothing negative to say about this boat, I have completely gone over the whole boat, everything works as it should. This is a VERY deep boat, Is has lots of storage, it has a large storage area in the floor that holds, skis wakboards and such, it has a small cabin in front of the passenger helm seat and a enclosed Bathroom with marine head in front of the driver helm seat. Please note the following, I am putting this boat in the water at Lake George NY on Saturday July 4th, the boat will be used, and the hours will increase slightly as it is enjoyed by my family.
