Only 275 hours on the boat with 175 hours of those hours at idle: per the mercruiser engine analyzer. The other 100 hours were at 2500-3000rpm. This boat has never been beat based on the mercruiser computer analysis. The boat has no scratches in the hull and the 4 color gelcoat shines! The vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition and is still soft and supple. The stereo has upgraded amp and speakers and has crystal clear sound at any volume. Included is a color matched bimini top, bow and cockpit covers, forward seat filler cushion for the bow, baja custom tandem axle trailer, anchor, bumpers and dock lines. 242 Islanders rarely come up for sale and have the best floorplan for any family bowrider especially with the upgraded 496 HO engine. The True-V hull and standard bolster seats keep the ride smooth even when the water’s rough, and when is time to get wet, an extended platform with walkway makes water access a kid’s play. InteriorThe walk-through of the Baja 242 Islander is on the port side providing space to have a love seat with a wraparound seat and a chase lounge. This is the best seat because two people can stretch out and soak up the sun or enjoy the ride while blasting about the lake. There are plenty of cup holders up here and lots of storage too. A small table is available for the bow, as is a filler cushion that converts the bow into a big sun pad. The 242 Islander has standard bolster seats to envelop you in safety and comfort, no matter how rough the water. You’ll find a filler cushion that converts the bow into a sunpad. The port gunwale has a carpeted locker for wakeboards or other water toys. There’s a massive amount of storage for skis and water sport equipment space under the sunpad sections, in the extra-large consoles, under the seats, and within the in-floor locker. The 242 Islander has a roomy cockpit. Drop bottom bolster seats are at the helm, while an aft bench makes up the seating in the rear. Traffic flows nicely from the wide swim platform to the cockpit even if somebody stops to use the freshwater shower on the swim platform. Moving aft, you will transition through the offset wraparound windshield.The helm console conceals a changing room with a bench and optional Porta Potti. The helm layout is like all the other Baja’s, functional and easy to use. Faria gauges and Kiekhaefer controls are complimented by the custom steering wheel. To port, is the companion seat with access to the upgraded Clarion CD stereo and a large glove box. The high-performance helm is not merely a “sporty” bowrider driving station. Large Livorsi gauges stare at you from within the carbon-fiber dash, which matches the Isotta R-Evo racing wheel. Completing the performance setup is the Livorsi control binnacles and Lenco HD electric trim tabs with Christmas tree light position indicators. It’s exceedingly comfortable, and as you swing your feet onto the deck and switch to the outboard backrest of the V-seat, you also find it ergonomically correct and a filler cushion that fits into place when the entire crew. The salon is ample sized and features a comfortable convertible sofa and flat screen TV. All windows feature blinds. The headliner and carpet were replaced in the summer of 2005. TermsPayment Types:Certified Funds and Institutional FinancingFees:Our auctions have no hidden fees. All in State vehicles are subject to a $112 Documentary fee and out of State vehicles are subject to a $133 Documentary fee. We also offer a 30 day transit tag for buyers from outside of PA. This tag is available at a cost to you of $55 and we will need a valid insurance card and driver's license to issue this tag. The last optional service is a Vehicle Prep Package. We offer a Deluxe Detail for $185 which includes the vehicle to be detailed professionally and a full tank of premium fuel when you pick it up (vehicles over 25 gallons may not apply). This may sound odd to you, but we often ship cars, in which case they are sent with very little fuel at the request of the shipping company. Terms:We require a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of auctions close. This will hold the car for you and you exclusively for up to 7 days while you gather your funds or finalize your financing. We will refuse any other offers on the vehicle and will begin preparing the vehicle and documents for your delivery. Any financing arrangements are strictly between you and the lender and do not impact your contract to purchase the vehicle. The deposit is not refundable if you change your mind or if you cannot obtain financing on the vehicle. Should you need us to hold the car beyond the week, we ask for a deposit of $500 for every $10,000 of vehicle value. This will protect you as well as us. This deposit is the only liquidated damages you would be expected to forfeit should you fail to follow through with our contract to purchase the vehicle. We encourage you to examine the vehicle closely upon its arrival and to take up any concerns about damage or cosmetic imperfections at the time of arrival BEFORE SIGNING THE BILL OF LADING. Once you sign the Bill of Lading, the shipper is realeased from liability and you are on your own. Should you find surprise damage and see that it is on the Bill of Lading, please contact us promptly and email us the Bill of Lading. We will compare it to our copy and notify you of any discrepancies. Some shippers damage a vehicle and simply document the damage on the Bill of Lading as though it existed at the time they picked it up.
