Sailing World magazine rated J/80 as easier to handle, less intimidating, safer and better suited for sailing offshore than other modern sport boats tested. The main picture is a Stock photo, as we have none of "Rosie" under full sail. All other pictures are of her in storage. She had her first few years in Salt Water and has been in Fresh Water on Lake Michigan since. Original owner was off Coronado Island (San Diego), so it did see salt water in it's first years, but I saw no signs while on deck taking pictures. It was put on a semi and hauled to Michigan.
