The custom designed graphic wrap is beautiful and appears to be in good condition. The engine cowling is wrapped to match the hull. On the bow is a Minn Kota Terrova trolling motor which the seller says works great!. The left racing style chair needs tidying up at the headrest. A bit of repositioning of the vinyl there should do the trick. The seller reports the 10' power pole operates well. This Tiburon ZX-25 is the personal boat of the designer and patent holder for this amazing really-skinny water fishing boat. Yep, she belongs to the boss! With a draft of just 6", in combination with the E-TEC 250 HP engine mounted on the 10" Bob's Machine jack plate, the amazing boat can rest in just 6" of water. Once she gets on plane, she'll skim as little as 3" of water. This ability is due in part to the Variable Lift System (VLS) designed to draw water under the boat for stability and functional performance in super shallow water. In essence, the running surface directs waterflow up to the propeller without inducing additional drag. This means you can maneuver this boat to waters where the fish are all by yourself because what other boats can do the same? The 8' 6" beam allows for a wide walkway down both sides of the console riser enabling a fisherman to walk the fish around the boat without obstruction. She is stable enough to walk bow to stern when fighting a large fish. Under the port and starboard gunnels are spacious horizontal storage compartments with locks. Seating is extremely comfortable due to the overstuffed racing-style bolster seats. They not only look great, but are comfortable and give a secure feel even at high running speeds. The stern has 5 hatches with hydraulic struts. Here you'll find a 28 gallon recirculating release well, an 18 gallon live well, plenty of storage, and easy access to pumps and other systems. In front where the elevated casting deck is you'll appreciate three molded fiberglass hatches, one for an anchor locker, and two dry storage areas. These quality hatches have compression latches and are held open by helpful gas-assist struts. Rare opportunity to purchase a factory built Contender with a Cummins 250 hp 6bta Diesel engine. I purchased the boat less than three years ago and have completely upgraded and redone most major items on the boat. This boat, with it's forward CG, gives an impeccable ride. The Cummins diesel pushes the Contender along at 26-27 kts at 2150 rpm, burning only 5.5 GPH!!! She runs WOT at 2650 rpm and tops out at about 32kts. Boat has tons of room and plenty of storage. 1985 Ultimate 25 Center Console Ultimate 25 center console powered by a 1997 Yamaha 250 OX66 fuel injected engine. Trailer pictured included. Ultimate's were built in Miami out of Kevlar with foam and Kevlar stringers. This one also has a Nydacore deck and custom integrated fiberglass bracket with swim platform. 2 insulated below deck fishboxes in the bow and an under deck livewell in the transom floor. The hour meter reads 58, but it's my guess that the actual engine hours are more. This is how it was set-up when the current owner purchased the vessel about 8 years ago. It was painted with Awlgrip about 5 years ago. There are a few drips and overspray, but that doesn't compromise it's structural strength. The hull is as solid as they come. The self bailing deck is hard with NO soft spots. The marine grade wiring is all newer than the vessel, along with a newer switch panel, switches and breakers. It's a rugged, no nonsense hull with reliable Yamaha power. Here's what's included; BD60 through hull transducer Working Fusion stereo with 6 speakers, 2 sub woofers and an MB Quart amplifier. Working Lenco trim tabs. 4 underwater lights, 2 green and 2 blue. 4 blue interior LED lights. Lights for the center console and anchor locker. 2 baitwell pumps. The hull looks very solid. It is evident that the deck was replaced. The fit and finish of the restoration look great, there are no cracks in the gel coat. The custom transom, bracket and live well look professionally done. The wiring looks top-notch. The hull has been painted over, there are some scratches on the starboard side. The T-top looks very solid and mounted well. The hardtop looks to be in excellent condition. Stock #392852 Restored with a Coosa Board Deck! Closed Transom with Bracket! Rebuilt Powerhead! If you love classic Makos or just want a super solid boat with a great ride, then this 1976 Mako 23 is for you. It is evident that the systems have been updated or replaced. The hull was redone with a Coosa deck that was raised an inch to adjust for the balance of ride with the custom aluminum bracket. The bracket gives the boat an overall length of over 25'. The Yamaha F225TXRA engine was rebuilt in May 2022. The seller estimates the engine has less than 100 hours since the rebuild. The exhaust and mid-section were recently replaced after the corrosion typical of this model year was discovered and addressed. An 80-gallon aluminum fuel tank was installed. The fuel tank was coated in Line-X to prevent corrosion. Two new batteries installed February 2024. Coosa board decks were constructed with updated hatches and hatch hardware. A custom live well was constructed at the transom with a see-through lid. The original helm console was refurbished and reinstalled with new hardware. The engine is steered with a hydraulic steering system. Electronics consist of a Fusion UHD 750 stereo head tied to 8 kicker speakers through a powerful amplifier. The Simrad GO7 GPS-chartplotter-fishfinder also manages the stereo through an NMEA 2000 network. Three batteries keep the engine starting and the tunes playing, topped off by a three-bank Pro-Mariner battery charger. The wiring and plumbing have been updated. The heavy-duty T-top has a hard top for longevity and ease of mounting accessories. The speakers are housed inside the hardtop giving it a custom look. Fishermen will appreciate the 14-rod holders spread between 4 gunwale holders, 4 leaning post holders, and 6 rocket launchers. There are heavy-duty swivel rod holders mounted on each side. The custom transom live well provides plenty of space to keep your bait frisky. This classic Mako has all the features you would want in a hardcore fishing machine. The seller has maintained this boat and has service records. The boat does not include a trailer.
