Easy to Sail!! Everything Needed to Go Sailing is Included!! BONUS OFFERING!!! The owner of this boat had dozens of books on sailing and sailboat maintenance. Those will be included in the sale of this vessel. This Karl Stambaugh-designed WINDWARD 28 is a cruising version of her successful shallow draft sisters. She is a gaff-rigged ketch and she has generous accommodations in her cabin. Her arrangement is a V-berth forward, galley to port, storage to starboard, two settees, and a porta-potty to pull out from under the bridge deck. Her self-bailing cockpit is large enough for family and friends to spread out. Storage is provided in the lazaret and under the cockpit seats. When not under sail she is powered by a 2006 Tohatsu 6 HP four-stroke engine. She will sail upright and go to windward well as her name indicates. Her sails are in good condition and she comes with all running rigging and the original build plans. She rides on a 2008 aluminum dual axle trailer made by Advanced Boat Trailers of Jacksonville, FL and custom-made for this boat. Since new, when not in the water, this boat has been stored in a climate-controlled inside storage building built specifically for this boat. Bottom line...the owner of this boat had her custom built and he loved her and cared for her like an only child. Check her out!! You will be amazed and impressed!! Reason for selling is owner passed.

This vessel appears to be very well cared for. All areas are finished with care, and corrosion is as absent as you will ever see on a sailing vessel of this type. The sails, covers, and rigging are all reported to be in good condition. Stock #263128 Converted Danish Sailing Fishing Ketch. Sail and Cruise the World in Style. This is a beautiful 60-foot converted Danish fishing ketch that was converted to a sailing yacht by the current owners decades ago. It has sailed the seas in friendly and not so friendly waters and has a variety of security features, including a custom shotgun mount on the salon door. The vessel has unique antique charm throughout; some original and some designed with thoughtful foresight during the conversion. Notice the charming glass between the rafters in the salon area. The vessel's 16 foot beam offers a huge salon and galley area, featuring a very large u-shaped dinette that could accommodate 10 for dinner, and there is a large bench style couch facing the dinette. The galley is equipped with a 4-burner propane stove and oven, a double stainless steel sink, a microwave, an under counter refrigerator/freezer, and plenty of hardwood countertops and cabinets that are beautifully finished. The kitchen storage is well designed with features for the high seas that lock-in glass dry storage containers and more. The sleeping quarters include a queen size bed in the main private stateroom, a double berth folds out from the bench, and two bunks in the companion way for guests. The head has a manual pump toilet, a tile floor, a granite topped vanity with a stainless steel sink, and a large shower with a ceramic tile enclosure. The head is also designed with a very unique and beautiful crystal-like light port that brings in natural light. The vessel is powered with a Grenna 90 Hp semi-diesel engine, which means compression is half of a normal diesel engine. The semi-diesel design requires glow plugs and favors a longer life. It also has two Lister diesel generators. One is in the engine room & the other is on the aft deck behind the wheelhouse. The aft generator is setup to power a high capacity bilge pump in the event the boat is taking on water. If you want a classic sailing vessel capable of cruising the globe, this is a must-see. Reason for selling is time to move on after many wonderful years.

1994 Custom Ketch Dashew Style 4JH2-HTBE Health concerns force another price reduction. Reasonable offers encouraged.  "Myth" fits the genre of the Dashew style of fast cruisers like the Sundeer and Deerfoot ranges. Fast cruising that allows one to outrun weather systems and shorten passage times while minimizing rolling and pitching is an enticing alternative to sailing heavy boats that have to motor in light air. Myth has a lightweight epoxy and carbon strengthened construction on a long waterline with moderate six foot draft and a manageable sailplan split between two masts that can pass under ICW bridges. The deck and hull are constructed with Tri-axial fiberglass using only epoxy resin over a Kledgicell foam core. The hull core alone provides this 24,000 pound yacht with 48,120 pounds of ultimate buoyancy. High stress areas on either side of the keel are re-inforced with carbon fiber. Flush decks, center cockpit and a hard dodger complete a design package that reeks of speed and efficiency. The  interior is well lit with white vertical surfaces and overhead. The layout features a desirable owner's aft stateroom with center-line double berth, extensive storage and an engine room that allows easy access to all sides of the motor and systems. The galley is of small apartment proportions in terms of sinks, counter space and storage. The owners of Myth sail to the Caribbean, Florida or the Bahamas each year at speed and in safety. Over the past twenty years Myth has proved herself to be the consummate passagemaker and cruising yacht for a couple.
