Up for sale or trade is an exceptionally well built 2016 Emerald Bay Custom patio boat. This vessel was custom built for another party but financing fell through at the end of the build and it is available now to the public. She is built of .125 5052 aluminum, pontoons, joist, railing, railing panels, rub rail, transom and all other construction. This boat is rust proof completely. It is built of heavy aluminum as opposed to the beer can type pontoons on other patio boats. She has 2 @ 25' aluminum pontoons built in separate 5' sealed sections with inspection ports. The tips are built up with 1/4" aluminum for added beaching protection. There is also a complete composite protection along the rub rail for added protection from dents and dings. The deck is lifetime marine ply coated with rubberized and slip proof coating. The pontoons are coated wit epoxy paint simply for added protection. The boat sports a new 90 HP Honda 4 stroke engine, controls and cables. She has an aluminum railing and solid canopy at 77" tall. She is powered by an elaborate solar system including 4 deep cycle 6v batteries and a dedicated 12v high cranking start battery. The electronics include a complete charging system, 2000watt inverter hooked to 120v ac outlets thruout. She has 12v lighting system and is complete with a solid canopy. She has 3 gates, open front deck and an open 2' rear deck. The helm is the center of the vessel with all new HD9 Chart plotter and GPS wit a 9" color screen. The Cruisers is 95% done, the only thing not completed is the rear seat cushions. I have 2 brand new high back boats seats in place, but not a rear bench. front seats are new vinyl high back buckets seats that swivel and slide. I upgraded the following: new shifter/throttle to off shore style, new cables,all new dash gauges with GPS speedo with COG, Tach has hour meter built in, Garmin 440SX GPS/chart/fishfinder/sonar, Garmin Sirrus Sat. ant. under 30 hrs on newly built 368 ci SBC 4 bolt main 340Hp, full roller cam hyd roller lifters w/ roller 1.6" roller rockers, all Stainless thru-hull 4"exhaust, one off custom aluminum radar arch( play miami vice music now) bimini top, 2 new grp.27 batteries, new sender units, new trim solenoids, new trim pump, new impeller pump, new fuel sender, new temp sender, rebuilt Alpha 1 drive, basically the entire drive train is rebuilt. and much more. Trailer has all new wiring, LED lights, 4 new radial tires, plus spare tire too, new wood on bunks, tags for trailer and boat paid until 2017!!! Boat runs awesome, trailers great and even has 2 props, boat gets super mileage. Starts, runs, handles great! The Sleekcraft is a 24 ft Daycruiser project I bought from NV last yr that i was going to put a Berkeley jet pump in. Medical issues in the family have changed that plan. So... Wife says its gotta go too. Happy Wife, happy Life!! It has no motor, drive train or interior. It does have full gauges, twin alum fuel tanks with dual gages, Hull is in great shape with awesome paint, bimini top, full mooring cover too. I do have a completely rebuilt Berkeley JC12A pump, matching grate, nozzle, and a jet-o-vater too. If you pay my full asking price, I'll include the Berkeley pump, intake grate, and both nozles. Sleekcraft trailer is matched to the boat and has LED lights too. 1 tire needs new rubber, the other 3 are great. I am advertising this boat for sale, for a friend that has been building and restoring wood boats for many years. He is from the Port Huron MI area, but now resides in Ga. and continues his craft. This launch is a new custom build using a derelict 1910’s era transport launch as a pattern. The original launch was used to transport people and mail on the St Clair river to and from Harsens Island. It was found around the Alganac area and was thought to be a Chris Smith, but found out later it is not. Some said it might be from a Marine City boatyard. Who knows? The original engine and rudder were missing. It had bench seats along the sides and a starboard navigation light board with the name Redhead carved in it. He built this launch using the original stem and skeg. He also retained the original hull shape using the derelict as a pattern. The new construction consists of: Single length white oak steam bent framing Framing skinned with 1/4" Ocoume marine plywood and sealed with West, Smith’s and Z-Spar paint on interior. 3M 5200 adhesive and ½” x 3” mahogany planking on bottom and sides Mahogany planking on the decks in a beautiful Herringbone pattern Custom built interior using all solid mahogany. Shaped bench seat arms with rosettes. Flooring is ¾” to 1” mahogany boards built using dado joinery and epoxy. Spray stained and varnished. Bottom and side paint is Z-Spar with decks and interior being finished with many coats of Z-Spar Captains varnish. High quality marine upholstery, stainless steel trim, glass windshield and vintage chromed hardware. The engine is from a 1960‘s Lyman lap strake boat. It is a 4 cylinder 120 hp OMC marine engine with a conversion kit. The transmission is a Velvet Drive. Both are in good condition. Mounted gauges for RPM, Oil Pressure and Water Temperature. This engine has more power than the boat needs and easily gets it to a cruise speed of about 12 mph. This launch hull was not designed to plane or run faster. Just cruise. The trailer is tandem axle with surge brakes on the front axle. Double bunked to fit this boat. New bearings and bearing buddies. All lights work. The tires have decent tread but are old. Fine for hauling around here, but I would not feel comfortable using them for a long trip. There is no spare. The trailer came from Michigan with the derelict boat years ago. It is not titled or registered. A bill of sale will be provided. If needed, the owner can raise the boat and trailer to load on your flat bed trailer. This boat was registered in Georgia by the owner/builder in 2007, as a 2007 built Chris Craft replica. The GA issued HIN is 38R29. The registration has expired. Georgia is a non title state for boats. A Georgia Bill Of Sale will be provided. The boat is in very good condition with the exception of a couple small spots of dock rash on the wood rub rail. It has always been stored on the trailer in a closed shop. The registration numbers are made of brass and screwed on. The owner will remove them, fill the screw holes and touch up the paint if desired. I think this launch would look great with a brass, stainless or wood plate on each side for the registration numbers. It has been used in many regional ACBS boat shows with very little use otherwise. The owner/builder is a long time ACBS member. High quality materials and craftsmanship in a reliable and beautiful antique style boat. E-mail with any questions. Titles for boat, motor, and trailer.No Reserve! I just spent a lot of money redoing the whole boat this year. The boat is completely redone and like new, except seats, which I didn't feel it needed. If you're interested in just the boat, to hang your motor on, I'm not opposed to separating. But would rather sell everything together. 1993 weldcraft1993 bear trailer 1987 115 mariner jet Very spacious 18/56 with right about a 75" beam! Plenty of room! A lot more spacious than any 18/56 I have seen. Lots of deck space! Front and rear decks. Also this weldcraft is one of the more expensive hulls you can buy for a jet boat. This same model as mine 1856CDL costs $7500 for a new blank/empty hull. Compare that $7500 hull price tag to any other flat bottom out there to give you an idea of the quality and strength of boat you get when you go with weldcraft. I believe blank/empty blazer hulls run around $3500-$4000? Anyways, Mine, which is a 1993 was appraised at $2995 for just the empty hull last year when I got the boat, before I did anything to the boat. (This $2995 appraisal was just for the empty hull, no decks, benches, seats, consoles, or anything, just the hulls value) DETAILS-steers very smooth, good steering cable. -400gph bilge pump (on switch) (came with boat)-4 grey and blue seats (came with boat) -1 very comfortable seat with a lot of cushion (from my last boat) -2 fire extinguishers (came with boat)-radio w/4 speakers (September 2015)-Bimini top (September 2015)-waterproof permit box (September 2015)-trailer winch strap (September 2015)-boat tie down straps (September 2015)-trailer safety chains (September 2015)-throttle cable (September 2015)-shift cable (September 2015)~~both cables are the high end teflex not the cheap ones-- ---this year---April-July--Terry's whale tale --carpet--spot/search lights on both consoles. 3550 lumen each--completely rewired whole boat--2 New batteries--6 gang switch panel--ooooga horn (loud) --5 new dock cleats--1100gph bilge pump on automatic float switch--4 high power, low consumption running lights, for running at night. Flip a switch and you will be able to see well enough to run wide open at night --5 drink holders (3 not installed, but included) --new locking reverse gate with new cam system (it had the old gate system without cams, so I upgraded to the new one)--humminbird 797 down and side imaging w/maps and gps (purchased used)--new tool box full of tools -Minn Kota power drive V2 50 ft/lb (purchased a couple months ago, I have receipt for it, it was on sale and I got it for $558)-sliding/locking mount plate for Minn Kota-custom easy to remove bow hanger for bowfishing-2 motors for spare parts, both run but both have an issue, one has a real light sound in the motor, I was told it sounds like it's probably a reed valve, the other has a knock and I was told it's a bearing. Both are running motors and come with stands. -2 prop lower units-1 extra jet pump lower unit-some life jackets (I think I have 4 but maybe 3)-a bunch of spare parts. Really, a bunch! 6 carbs, 2 trim pumps and motors (these specific pumps and motors are very rare and expensive when you find them) Extra flywheels, 2 sets of hydraulic rams for the trim pumps, a few fuel pumps, control arms, cdi box, and well way to much to list. -AMERICAN FLAG IS INCLUDED! So pretty much your set with everything you need! -------------------------------------------I was using my boat 9-28-16 I normally run 5000rpm, the motor wide open runs 5650rpm. I had been out for a little bit, shut it off to do some fishing, then when I fired it back up and took off, for some reason it wouldn't get up to the 5000rpm I normally run, I got up to 4600 easy and quick like usual, but wouldn't go any higher, when it wouldn't go past 4600, I shut her down and trolled back to the ramp, with fear that running it might do damage. I don't know what's wrong, what changed between shutting it off and firing it back up. It started right back up like always. I don't know much about outboards, it could be a really minor issue, or it could be major, I don't know. But I do know that I just got the motor in mid March, under the pretense that it had just been redone, and you can tell by looking at it that it had been, all new gaskets can be seen, and it's pretty clean under the cowling. I ran it like I was told, double oil for a tank (i ran it for a little more than a tank to break it in just to be safe) then took it to Opc to have them inspect it, make sure it was broke in good and right, and tune it for after break in. they Went over everything and said she was solid. she has run amazing every time I used her, until 9-28. I have used her quiet a bit in the last few months, pretty much every weekend and have had no issues at all, till now. I had been planning to sell it spring of next year and have anew custom jet boat built, but I'm just going to sell it now, for a deal, since it appears to have an unknown problem. The boat and trailer are worth a bit more than the price. I priced it considering worse case scenerio, and that's figuring motor needs replaced (which I highly doubt it does) and that's not figuring the thousands of dollars of spare parts, and motors, just the spare jet pump lower unit is worth around $1000 (google it) and if the motor was bad, it has a really nice pump on it that's probably worth more on the higher side of used pump prices.
