1978 Yukon Delta Trailerable Houseboat Boat is located in Cedar Falls,Iowa.Please contact the owner @ 319-939-three two three seven...This completely rebuilt 1978 Yukon Delta 26? houseboat is one of a kind and all newly re-done. The hull has been rebuilt fiberglassed including a new transom and the floor leveled in the forward of the 14x8' cabin. There are custom built cabinets with new sink, stove-top and microwave oven. Two 20 lb. propane cylinders provide heat, hot water, cooking fuel and operate the gas or electric refrigerator freezer. The shower and cassette toilet are new. Lots of built-in storage. Rooftop air-conditioning. 30 gallon fresh water tank. Fold-up bunk beds are stowed against the wall when not in use making for greater floor space. There is a new poly 40 gallon fuel tank that connects to the 100 hour 1993 Honda 90 HP outboard. A complete set of new Honda gauges at the helm. Marine radio with external antenna. Shore power wiring to run appliances, lights and battery charger can also use a portable generator for electrical power while under way or at anchor or beach. The two marine, deep cycle batteries were new in 2014. The houseboat comes with a rebuilt, tandem axle trailer with 5 good, low mileage tires. All wheel bearings replaced in 2015. The trailer is a 2? ball straight-pull. A half-ton truck is all that is needed to trailer this boat to the water. The draught of this tri-hull design is less than 17" and will easily go just about anywhere. This boat in excellent condition and ready to go. 1979 BoatYard Center cockpit O'day 37 I've spent the last two years completely overhauling this boat, only to discover I want a larger boat. I've been up and down the delta with it twice and all over the bay. I love it but have decided to upsize. Since buying I have put over 15K into her, and she looks and sails great. She is converted from Diesel to electric in 2015, and has 8 motor batteries (48V at 300Ah) and 2 house batteries (12V at 70ah). Two solar panels keep the house batteries topped up, and you can charge the house from the motor batteries. A Honda 2000 generator can keep the motor batteries recharging at the equivalent of about 3 knots of speed - or 20amps/hour. Without recharging, she can go about 7-8 hours at 3.5 knots constant, or 2-3 hours at 5 knots. When sailing in a good wind, the prop will recharge the batteries. It's pretty sweet. This is a great bay cruiser, equipped for overnight and easy sailing.
