The engine worked fine when it was hauled 8 years ago, but will need maintenance before starting, the owner confirms. The mast seal may need to be replaced. 1979 Dickerson 41 Description: This Dickerson 41’ staysail ketch is a fiberglass boat and has had a major refit in 1997. The exterior hull was awl gripped in 1997 along with new chain plates, spars and rigging. It is equipped with a Yanmar 51hp diesel engine that was new in 1996. The interior is beautifully laid out with teak and holly sole floorboards, the bulkheads are birch trimmed in teak, there are 16 bronze portholes that let plenty of light and is accented by the Hereshoff white cabin tops. Accommodations: Starting forward is the V-Berth guest stateroom, followed by a head to starboard and hanging locker to port. Moving aft is the main salon that has 6’ 6” headroom, there is a port side settee and a L-shaped dinette to starboard with storage behind the seating areas. The dinette table is mounted on the bulk head that provides plenty of room for dining and can be stowed away while not in use. The U-shape galley is located on the starboard side that includes a double sink and three burner stove with oven. Across from the galley to port is where you’ll find a large double refrigerator and foul weather hanging locker. Next is the companionway that leads to the engine access and master stateroom. There is a large door in the companionway that allows for plenty of room to engine access. The aft cabin stateroom is spacious and has lots of storage for your personal belongings. 1981 Dickerson P-B Flyer,This is a 1981 Dickerson Downeast style cruiser. It has a Chesapeake Bay deadrise style hull. Very few of these were made by Dickerson in Maryland. The boat had the aft portion of the cabin added to it approximately three years by the previous owner. Powered by a single Perkins Turbo-Diesel which was serviced in April with fresh oil and two brand new marine batteries. Purrs like a kitten.Sleeps 4 comfortably. Top-loading fridge works perfectly. Could use a little TLC (some minor woodwork needed) but a great and unique boat. I guarantee you're very unlikely to pull into a slip next to her twin! 1982 Custom Treworgy Pilothouse Cutter This pilothouse cutter is truly one of a kind. Designed by Mark Treworgy and built by Treworgy Boat Building in NE Florida, with steel construction to ensure that she was tough and strong. Awlgrip Arista Blue hull. Not only is she rugged, but she will turn heads. Her pilothouse is offset by a graceful hull design, and the low profile makes her look anything but "boxy" (as some pilothouse boats tend to do). Her owner has sailed both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans aboard her, and she now sits in St. Augustine, FL, awaiting her next adventure. Her hull was plated of 3/16" and bottom of keel with 1/2" steel with substantial framing, with 3000 lbs. of lead ballast (cast to shape and anchored). Her cabin is aluminum (isolated from the steel).
