The Bruce King designed Ericson 35 yacht that has been crafted to the most exacting standards. Extra attention has been given to details essential to a yacht's comfort, safety and performance under sail. A solid cruising yacht that does not sacrifice performance even in light to moderate winds. The "Tri-axial Force Grid distributes mast induced loads through a network of hollow floor beams, significantly improving the hull's stiffness and strength-to-weight ratio. The interior distinguishes the Ericson 35 from other yachts with such an abundance of teak cabinetry and trim fitted to such precise tolerances. Most of the teak on deck has been refinished. This classic 1986 Ericson 30 is part of the first robustly-built Ericson boats built in 1985 by Bruce King. This Ericson 30 handles well in weather and could make a comfortable liveaboard. The boat is well-balanced and sails both on and off the wind under headsail only, making it easy to sail single-handedly. You'll love the large cockpit with its curved helmsman's perch to compensate for varying degrees of heel. The angled seatbacks make it comfortable for the crew. Below deck, the layout is spacious and inviting. The dark blue cushions set off the teak used throughout the boat. The sole is teak and holly. If you're standing by the companionway ladder, the galley is located to port and opposite is a forward-facing navigation table whose seat is the head of the quarter berth. This is a 1976 Ericson 35 designed by Bruce King. There were 500 of these vessels made up until 1981. These are very well-made boats with thick fiberglass hulls. They are very capable boats, you can sail the coast or around the world. This Ericson 35 an excellent choice for any sailor. The Ericson 35 is very roomy throughout the interior. Mostly mahogany but also teak wood is used. A good amount of storage is available and she is equipped with 25 gallons of freshwater. There is a head, shower and an offset dinette for sharing meals.
