1991 Forester Speed Boat with trailer. This boat ranks up there with newer boats for sale as far as condition goes. It has always been winterized, and stored indoors when not in use. Being a 4 cylinder and 16 feet long the boat is fast and fuel efficient. Starts right up and idles nice. Engine compartment is spotless. Installed new battery this year, and comes with a spare. Oil has been changed at suggested intervals and also at the beginning of each season. Boat has been used on local lakes as a runabout and occasional pan fishing. This is a very nice RV. It has been kept in a carport and has never been left out in the weather. The tires are Michelin and have 10,000 miles on them. We have had it for one year and have really enjoyed it. We are selling to buy a larger RV. Our grandchildren are traveling with us, and we need more room. The outboard is a 50 HP Johnson 50th Anniversary Edition that will be fully checked out before the boat is sold. The motor may be older than the boat itself since Johnson Motors started in 1922. The boat has been in indoor storage for 9 years and prior to that underwent a very complete restoration with a partially new floor, new seating, new carpet, new rotary steering and steering wheel. It has a like-new Standard Horizon Eclipse VHF radio, Hummingbird Wide 2000 Fish Finder, stainless steel rod holders, and a matched set of instruments consisting of a speedometer and voltmeter. All of the new equipment was purchased between 2002 and 2005 but barely used after that.The boat comes with a variable length trailer in good shape with newer bunks, jackstand, rollers, and wheels. The outboard was used very little from the time we purchased this boat and had to put it in storage. The prior owner was a marine mechanic who had this motor running great. The only restoration work left would be to put in bow cushions more like the original and a bit more work with the floor near the aft end of the boat.
