2012 Gause Built Boats 26 2012 Gause Built 26 DETAILS: -Atlas blue Awlgrip topsides -Two tone whisper grey and white deck (Awlgrip and Griptex) -225 HP 4 stroke Suzuki w/ 150 hrs -Porta Bracket -Quality T Tops half tower with second station -Teleflex KE4 electronic dual station controls -Seastar hydraulic dual station steering Lenco trim tabs -8 ft. coffin box -35 gallon leaning post livewell -30 gallon transom livewell -65 gallon fuel tank -Lowboy triple axle aluminum trailer (great for shallow ramps) OWNERS COMMENTS: This is the original Gause hull before Dave Gause retooled the 26 hull a few years ago. This boat is the only Gause 26 with a flat floor and coffin box layout. It is great for storage and seating for the family. It would be ideal for a guide as well. Gause built the hull, stringers, transom and ring deck. The floor, hatches, livewells, coffin box, paint and rigging were completed by Shipoke in Safety Harbor, FL. After inspecting the custom modifications to the boat, Dave Gause issued the MSO from Gause Built Boats. However, as Gause did not do all of the work on this boat, it is imperative for me to clarify that this hull does not carry the gold plated Gause warranty. Similarly, if you are looking for the white glove service that Dave Gause provides to his new boat customers, this boat is not for you, as this is not a custom build by Gause. If you are looking for the personalized service that comes with a custom Gause Built Boat, I suggest you contact Dave Gause for the best client focused support platform in the business. My family has enjoyed this boat for the last two years primarily for inshore sight fishing and scalloping trips. The hull and trailer were recovered so the electronics tower, wiring, motor, and so on are all 2014. This is a one of a kind in that it is the only Gause with dual simrad NSS EVO2 units in the helm. This boat is not branded with a salvage title, it was put back together by the builder to new condition. If you know the boat you know of the quality and how they are sought after.
